We hired RatPact extermination 3 years ago to help with our pigeon situation on the roof and to spray the beetles that fed on pigeon excreta underneath the solar panels. Even after 3 years, the problem still hasn't resolved. Turns out that their workers did the following : 1. workers voided our solar panel warranty because they screwed it to our solar panels 2. They also used wrong stuff for the mesh since we have Spanish style roof. However the mesh used doesn't go along with the Spanish style roof and leaves big gaps underneath which allows pigeons to go through them and make nests. 3. There are nests everywhere underneath the panels. One thing I appreciate them for is - they kept coming back which is why I have two stars instead of 1, but they don't know what they are doing with the pigeons. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Do Not hire Rat Pact Exterminators. They say they're coming out, but they never do. Even when I confirm. I've been texting Anthony to get his guys to come out and finish the job, they practically ghosted me. Out of the 16 rodents we caught they came to throw out 1. Come and cover the hole that you said you would. This company does not do as they say they will and take your money up front. You should refund everyone their money for your crappy work ethic. Had my solar panel pegion proofing, called back soo many times within 3 month period because pegions kept returning. Each time asked about cleaning of mud left under panels, and was told taken care of or very minimum. Called back again after months of installation, because I heard pegions again and wanted to upgrade warranty. Someone came out and said they saw 1 pegion and a panel had fallen and was replaced. Asked again about mud under panel and told little or none. Asked about warranty and was told $350 1st, call to ask what was included, call never returned after more than 10 reach. I strongly advise against using this company for rat exclusion services. Here's my experience: I hired them in December 2023 for a rat problem in my attic. After nearly a year of service: They failed to catch a single rat Their solution was to install unsightly yellow wiring that proved completely ineffective They repeatedly failed to follow up on scheduled appointments despite promising to do so They never performed a thorough roof inspection to find all entry points When I finally hired a different company, they immediately identified multiple large holes in the roof that the first company had missed entirely The new company removed the ineffective wiring and properly addressed the entry points that had been allowing rats continued access throughout the year. My money was completely wasted with Rat Pact, as the problem remained unsolved despite their supposed 'treatment.' The company's poor communication, ineffective solutions, and incomplete inspection process made this entire experience frustrating and costly. UPDATE: After leaving this review, Anthony from RatPact messaged me and apologized for the mixup and asked to have the chance to make it right. They sent someone the day after we contacted him, and took care of our ant and spider problem! We used RatPact for three years. They did an initial pest treatment (we had a lot of earwigs and some ants) when we first moved in, then they did regular maintenance, spraying the perimeter of our home about every three months. Sometimes they were late, but that was mainly ok. They would text when they were coming, knock to let us know they were here, then let us know that they had finished. Last May, we got a text that they were coming, and then they didn't show up. And we never heard from them again! So, now we're shopping for a new company that won't ghost us. Just moved into our new home and the day before keys being turned over, the previous owners notified us that there was a rat.....well s**t. Anyway, Anthony came out and did a quick consult and had his guys come out later that afternoon. Ignacio came out with another guy (if you're reading this, I apologize I forgot your name). They went through our home and patched up all entry points and set sticky traps in our attic, upstairs, and downstairs. They use a bait that appears to be super yummy to rats because we ended up catching the little mofo the next morning. It was great and such a relief as none of my traps were working. We called them to let them know we caught one and they came within a few hours to dispose of the rat and re-bait another trap. Do yourself a favor and RUN AWAY from this company. They charged my almost $1,000.00 to fumigate a new house a just bought from rats detected in the inspection. After paying in full, with no refunds, they did not properly close all the roles in the outside, did not properly clean the attic as they promised and its another basic step of the treatment, they never show up in the times they schedule, they give us their schedule in the night before for the follow ups, and after we change our whole work schedule to wait for them, they come 1 hour AFTER THE 2hour window they gave us, and do not do anything when they arrive at the house. The "neutralizer" spray bottle was completely empty upon arrival and their traps do not work (I tested with a stick!) So they are big scammers who should not have a license to operate! read more

We had just moved back to the area and moved into my mom's old house. The house had been empty for a couple years so we wanted to get someone over to check on everything. Frank from RatPact came over and checked out the attic space. First off, he has great energy, very kind! He gave good vibes for sure. He was super honest with everything and went over options. After hearing on again and off again scurrying in the attic, especially at night, where it was loud enough to wake me up from a dead sleep, I had enough. We had placed rat traps in the attic, we've covered up as many holes leading into the attic as we could find, but the activity in the attic was relentless, so we decided to call in the professionals. I tried to get a quote from several companies and to have free inspection and estimates. But several of the companies did not show up, yea I'm looking at you orkin and western exterminators... so I just decided to go with rat pack. Glad I did!!!! They offer a package that costs $675. But before you flip out and say that's too much. The service includes sealing all of the openings in the attic, crawlspace and garage. As well as vacuuming the droppings, sanitizing the attic and placing traps in the problem areas. But what I appreciated the most was that they would continue to monitor and send people out to inspect the traps on a regular basis for up to 1 year!!!! So they came out on several days to clean the attic, and lay traps, then several weeks later they came by again to cover up the holes. And so far they've called me at least every 2 weeks or so to ask if I want the traps inspected. But ever since I've had the holes closed up I haven't heard any more activity up there. Communication can definitely be better. Sometimes they dont call back, sometimes they do. For the 2 week checkup after the initial cleaning they didnt call me, so I had to call them to schedule it. But its just minor stuff that can easily be overlooked. So far, they've had multiple people to the house in regards to inspecting the traps, or doing the initial visit, or closing up the holes and they have all been really professional. Only 1 of them actually wore booties and a mask, which was appreciated, considering we are going through a pandemic. I would definitely recommend them. Its expensive, but they are thorough, and they get the job done. And the peace of mind that if I hear anything else up there I have the ability to give them a call and they will take care of it for up to a year. You really cant beat that!!! read more

I hired RatPact to assess my dad's home for rats in the attic. I wasn't certain if there were rats, but had a suspicion because of the electrical problems. I contacted Anthony via Yelp and he got back to me right away. We set an appointment, he was on time and very helpful. We walked around the perimeter of the property and Anthony immediately noticed signs of a rat problem. He confirmed there were rats once he took a look on the attic. The removal process seemed pretty straightforward. They set up traps, returned days later to remove the rats. They sealed up entries into the home as well. Once they were certain that there were no more rats, they cleaned out the insulation and installed new insulation. RatPact provides a guarantee if rats return. I'm pretty embarrassed to say, but I had them come out twice based on reports by family members. One report was noise and scratching in the attic. There was nothing. The second report was worse and even more embarrassing. My sister said there droppings on the counter, and I thought that was kinda odd since I had cleaned out all the food from the house. We had rats in our cabin. After their initial visit, they set appointments but rarely came, or they sent people without the proper tools. They promised us they would send the same person every time, but rarely when someone eventually showed would they be someone's who had been there before. The rats multiplied. Eventually we had to hire someone else to take care of the problem. They have never reimbursed us for not doing the job they promised. In response to the comment below, we have a chain of emails and texts showing how they did not show up when the said they would or did not bring the tools to do the work when someone came. I drove 2 1/2 hours to meet their representative there the last time I tried to meet them, and they never showed up. I was there that time to clean up the mess myself. I reached out several times past that to try and reschedule, with no response, even after I we finished cleaning. I was absolutely fed up with my mouse problem. I caught 9 mice inside of my house (over 6wks), poop was in almost every room, even the containers and boxes in my garage. I emailed these guys on Sat morning, got an immediate response/appointment. Ignacio and Jacob came out today (Labor Day Monday) at 7am. I know this is early to be dealing with pest problems, but it's hot and it's better to start early. they were knowledgeable, respectful of my property (I have cream carpet), asked for permission before entering any bedrooms, And most of all listened to all my concerns. Initial service was great. I hired ratpact to deal with a mouse issue in my attic. The personnel were great and friendly. They inspected, sealed up exterior houses in my house, and was impressed that I hired them to perform monthly insect exterior maintenance as well. The breakdown with them came later for the follow up inspections and checks. Communication is poor. Sometimes I would get a text or call 30 min before someone showed up and the monthly service dates would change up as well. I never knew when someone was scheduled to come perform weekly or monthly service. Even worse, I would have confirmed appts with Anthony (the owner) and he would ghost my phone calls/texts. Twice now, I've called their main number and no one answered, followed by a text saying "can I call you back"? Then no one calls back. When I asked when can I expect a return call....no reply. I don't have all day to sit around waiting/wondering when someone is coming to take care of dead mouses in the trap/insect spraying. I am so done with them. The 1 year guarantee is worthless if they can't back it up with consistent service. Just read the other reviews echoing my experience. read more

Only lost the one star due to missed initial date to come out on the next Friday. They did however finally call on Monday and reschedule the work. The work was for blocking all the entry points for the nasty little beasts. Iganacio and Jakob arrived on time and were very courteous and quick. UPDATE: The Bird exclusion has fallen off yet again and I reported it back on November 9th 2022, and when I contacted the owner they said they would call me back later but it would be a couple weeks before they could schedule me in, to have someone look at the issue. They never got back to me. I followed up at the one month mark in December 2022 and they said they were under new management and had no record of the work done. They asked me to submit my contract to show whether the work was under warranty or not (this was all via text messages). I asked to talk to someone but every time I called no one answered and kept getting Voicemail. It has now been 3 months with no response from wither the owner or anyone in the company (even by texts). It's a bummer their work kept falling apart, and I get the contract shows 2 years warranty but as it took them a year to complete the work I was hoping for a little more consideration. What I am more concerned about is that they never respond and take a long time to follow up if at all. If I ran a business and would completely ignore a customer I would at least at a human level feel like I let them down. Their work wasn't my favorite as it took a year for them to fix it, but their communication and at this time their inability to even take my call or respond to my texts is frustrating. I hope others do not have this same issue with the new management at the helm but in this case new management has not improved their communication. read more

Unfortunately, this business takes your money upfront and then makes excuse after excuse for not scheduling a worker to come out and do regular service intervals. Don't say you will come out weekly during covid and then blame covid for not coming out weekly! They charged me $1200 upfront to do an exclusion and provide 1 year of regular checkups for trap setting and maintenance. The problem is I kept getting rats in my attic and garage even after paying for the exclusion. After calling to schedule weekly appointments for ASAP, sometimes it would be 3 weeks or more before they came back. Before you know it, the 1 year warranty had passed and then they want you to renew for $350 to make sure no new entry points have been made. Not worth it at all. The way they seal up entrypoints is also really rudimentary. They staple chicken wire over the gap and then fill it with expanding foam. The foam gets chewed up or melts due to heat and exposure very quickly disintegrates and then it's just chickenwire preventing rats or squirrels from coming in. Which they end up doing because rats and squirrels can chew through a lot. Stay away and hire a professional. They say they have 20 years of experience but then send 20 yr old kids to find the entry points. Hire an expert instead who will take care of the problem for good. read more

I saw a glimpse of a mouse/rat in my garage one night and was terrified. I called RatPact first thing in the morning and they were able to come out the same day. It turns out that I probably inadvertently trapped the rat inside and it made a bit of mess with some foam sealant that was used in the garage. Ignocio was great. This company has gone downhill.  We were invaded with a nest of rats and they didn't have the time to come and get rid of the bodies or set the traps again until the following week. My mom did all that. I also asked multiple times to seal a hole in the garage because we were pretty sure that's how the rats were getting in the walls, one tech said they would, other said just never ever open up the garage. So they never sealed it. Multiple times the crew did not have the spray or vacuum to clean the garage even after I asked Anthony I wanted the area disinfected. They also have no respect for their clients' time. I wasn't getting the weekly apt texts to notify me of the time. I would have to call Anthony the morning of because my texts and calls were ignored. One week he said no one was showing up because they had the week off. Alright thanks for not letting me know. The following week they canceled on me the day of. Next day no one showed up. No one answered my texts or picked up my calls either. Next day my calls were going to voicemail and Anthony just texted with a time. No apology whatsoever. I hid my number, called again, and surprise! He picked up. Was he seriously ignoring me on purpose? Guys showed up over 4 hrs late. I took 3 days off from work because of them.
