We have a 50s home the had 0 insulation left, Bryan and crew did blow in insulation for the walls, attic insulation, new ductwork, added ducts to the bathrooms, and an attic fan. The house went from extremely inefficient, to perfectly comfortable. It feels like we have a new home. It's nice to wake up and the temperature is perfect, to come home and the temperature is perfect. Also I got bids from over 10 companies, most of them wouldn't give me a rough price with my detailed description unless they sent over some sales person. There were a bunch that were very slow to respond with a take it or leave it approach, and finally the ones that did give me a price were outrageously high. Bryan was the opposite of all of that, super responsive, transparent pricing, and no upsells of things I did not need. You don't need to spend weeks looking around like i did. These guys really knocked it out of the park. I was very picky about using the best materials and how the installation process was performed. Luckily for them, I had installed a hatch and my roof has clearance to stand up. They normally did not work with the radiant barrier I wanted, but were lenient on getting the bubble barrier that I requested. They allowed me to approve each step of the process from the clean state, to rodent proofing and the final inspection. Quality of work is top notch, these guys are knowledgeable and worked HARD. Bryan responded immediately and came in after his work to give me an estimate for my Mom's attic. He was courteous and although I knew there was a mess with rodents' droppings etc, up there, he was careful how to describe it. I did tell him I have 3 more venders to check it out and give me quotes. His quote ended up being more expensive but ultimately decided to go with Bryan as his outlined scope and service were more complete. He and his team covered the walking path to the attic, first. Then, the actual work started. He cleared everything from old insulation, droppings to empty suitcase! He and the team, rodent proofed the attic and set multiple traps (for unseen rodents). We had a few attic professionals come over to provide quotes and not only was his quote the most affordable, his personality really reeled us in. He was very efficient and professional and his quote was the best in the market. I especially appreciated how you didn't try to upsell me on extra things I didn't need. Bryan and his co-workers are amazing. They were slightly early to the 8am start time (no problem for us), and were pretty much finished by lunchtime. They set up a path to the attic opening in the hallway with plastic sheeting held in place with sturdy platformed poles. When they finished putting in the new insulation, pulled down the sheeting and cleaned up, the house was spotless, couldn't even tell they had been there. They repaired and wrapped all of the ductwork and inspected electrical lines for rat damage, and Bryan sent photographs plus the appropriate IRS form for us to claim our tax refund. We elected to go with batt insulation. His crew cordoned off the hallway and fully protected our walls, carpets, and corners. They completely removed the old stuff, sealed voids and openings to prevent infiltration of attic air into the house, then installed fresh R38 batt insulation throughout. The whole Job was completed in one-and-a-half days. Bryan is a fully licensed, bonded and insured C-2 insulation contractor who knows the business. I'd urge anyone considering new insulation to make sure the contractor you select has a C-2 license. There are many companies out there (some on Yelp with 5-star ratings) who are unlicensed, uninsured, and unbonded. I know - I got a quote from one of them who lied to me about holding a C-2 license. Just a little due diligence will spare you the risk and the perhaps negative consequences from choosing one of them. Bryan (the owner) was honest, professional, and great at communicating from start to finish. The pricing was on point, insulation installation went smoothly, and the team was super flexible and helpful with changing around the install as needed to protect our little one from any fine particles. They also took care of a broken wood beam in the attic for us and added air seals around the entire attic as well as weatherproofing for the attic entrance, which worked great to seal it up. These guys are friendly and totally competent. They ensured that the rest of my house remained clean during the process, did it quickly and for a reasonable cost.
