The worst experience ever. I made my reservation through Resy and got a confirmation. Few days later they called me that they have Greek night and it's set menus and asked for confirmation which I did. Then they call me at 9:45 pm the next day to ask for confirmation again. The night before our reservation the owner calls me that I need to pay 50% of bill for all 5 of us. When questioned her she rudely said she is cancelling my reservation and hung up. Customer service for this place is zero. The food which I have been there before is nothing amazing, but unfortunately they act as if they are Michelin rated restaurant with a big attitude. read more

The ambiance was quaint and upscale. From the moment we arrived, everyone was friendly and welcoming...that alone will have us coming back. However, the highlights remain to be the food, we tried to order everything on the menu so we can have a tasting (needless to say there was leftovers) and needless to say, you will not be disappointed. Plating, temperature and timelines were on point. Ingredients used were very palatable particularly the truffle and pasta in the appetizer section. The sauce that accompanied the trout was delectable so please do not 86 this. To wrap things up, the ashta cake and chocolate portion were simply scrumptious. For the first time we we had reservations at this restaurant. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly face with smile. She was very polite, courteous, respectful and most importantly happy. We were seated at our table and was greeted by the waitress offering us water and to explain the menu. We ordered 4 appetizers and loved all4 of our appetizers. They were so fulfilling that we didn't have room for main entrée (definitely going again for entrée). The cocktails were great had 3 of them and lastly the Desert was spectacular specially the Ashta. I visited this restaurant on Sunday with my aunts and sister and - JUST WOW. They did an excellent job on everything. You can see the attention to detail. The interior and patio are stunning. The menu has so many delicious dishes you'll really struggle to pick. Everything was so fresh. I don't even drink cocktails but I tried two - the passion fruit vodka cocktail and the cucumber one - both were divine. I am just so happy we have a restaurant like this in Glendale now because there is such a dearth of good food here. We had the trio dip, tuna tartare, asian chicken salad, club sandwich, diavola pizza, and, of course, chocolate cake and ashta for dessert. Everything was delicious. Also, the service was excellent. The owners of the restaurant were there and they came by multiple times to ask us if everything was alright. I've already recommended this place to several people and they loved it too! We tried Atrium today for the first time. It was delicious food, and a beautiful, and luxurious atmosphere. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Menu has a good variety of middle eastern inspired options. The restaurant is on a pretty quiet, residential street. We tried the endive and fig salad- which was one of our favorite dishes. They use fresh figs, and all the different flavors in the salad complement each other so well. The lamb chops are a must try! We absolutely loved it. It came with a few different dips on the plate, and of course, seasoned chopped onions with herbs- delicious. The Mediterranean flatbread was unique and also good. The scallops although were not bad, they were not our favorite. Lastly, we finished the night off with ashta for dessert, which was the perfect end to an evening of amazing food. They had a good variety of dessert options. We were eyeing the chocolate espresso crunch cake, as well as the baklava sundae, which will have to be for next time! This experience made me realize I need to review good and bad places to make sure others don't waste their time and money at the wrong place. Ambiance was fine aesthetically pleasing but please that's not enough to be Avra. Don't act like you're Avra when you fail the customer service. Avra's staff whether waiter or management isn't rude. The wife I guess is there like a hawk not to make sure customers are treated right but to wait for a moment to act like they know it all and be an example of how to treat customers wrong. Not only did they not take our order but no one ever came to check on us or bring us more water throughout the night. Food lacked flavor and creativity and came out cold. I have nothing but horrible things to say about this place. Ownership is extremely rude...service was awful. I attended this place multiple times for different occasions. ESPECIALLY the owners wife!!! My relative hosted a bday dinner for around 50 people and it was a disaster. They overcharged and under-delivered. The owners were so rude that all the guests were uncomfortable and never want to go back. They made rude remarks about the pricing that was discussed with the host ahead of time and changed the price multiple times. They interrupted my relative during the dinner multiple times for minor issues in order to charge more even though pricing was discussed ahead of time. They even complained (as owners of the company) that providing a candle is too much ... Not to mention, the chef is no longer the same so the quality of food has only gotten worse. Do not support this business. They are awful!!! OWNERS WIFE IS AWFUL! read more
