Primarily known for its inventive craft cocktails and a killer whiskey selection, it was a nice place to sneak away into before or after your main event... or, maybe this could be the place to spend an entire evening. We had to approach the bar each time we ordered something, but any empty glasses and plates were collected at the table. Once we closed out our tabs, we were thanked for coming as we headed out into the night. Everything was chill and easy - thank you! PARKING (Varied; FREE this instance): I parked in the nearby original Glendale Galleria parking structure and simply walked over first to The Americana then to this place. Otherwise, there was limited parking along the main drag of Brand Blvd. and other surrounding side streets, the nearby Glendale Galleria II parking structure, The Americana parking structure that offered validation, numerous public transportation options, and rideshares - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A dark cavernous speakeasy-like place with open space, various tables and couches strewn about, and a large long somewhat decorative bar with an impressive whiskey selection displayed behind it. I appreciated the exposed brick walls which gave it that old-time feel with a few framed pictures hung on them. Minimal natural lighting came through the front doors and windows while minimal electric ceiling lights filled in rest. Sadly, I try to avoid the highly congested area as much as possible. I loved the fact that they had a daily happy hour (4pm-7pm) and late-night SU-TH happy hours (10:30pm-close), so there was always a deal to be found. The drinks were the main reason you came, while the food was just an add-on. The prices were elevated, but you had a good menu selection of libations (nice local craft beer list) to choose from. The customer service was easy, friendly, and straightforward. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $42.00 BEFORE any discounts/tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... An added bonus was also seeing Alex and my buddy Juan (who also works here). In honor of National Margarita Day (2/22) Johanna created some specialty cocktails featuring Tromba Tequila. I started with a Classic Margarita. It was absolutely perfect and made with fresh lime & agave. The bartenders here make everything from scratch. No bottled mixers, which is how it should be. For dessert I had the Espresso Martini (Tromba Cafeto, Tromba Reposado, & Cold Brew). It was my first time having an Espresso Martini with tequila, and it was delicious! Perfectly balanced and not overpowering. During my visit I had the pleasure of speaking with the new owner, Sung. She was darling and she genuinely cares about her establishment, staff, and clientele. We had a great chat and she told me that she's thinking of adding a dart board and possibly a Pac Man tabletop. Most importantly, she wants to make sure customers have a memorable experience. I can honestly say that it absolutely was for me! Even though it was a school night I couldn't leave without doing a shot with my favorite crew. Finally, a place in Glendale that feels elevated and different. I recently visited Atrium and once again, my experience was absolutely amazing. The staff were incredibly attentive from the moment we walked in until the very end. We tried the grilled Spanish octopus, tuna tartare, oyster mushroom skewers, mushroom flatbread, fig and endive salad, truffle agnoloti, and several drinks. I particularly enjoyed the Atrium Bliss, although I think it could be a bit stronger. The venue itself is stunning, with a minimalist and modern atmosphere that sets the perfect mood. Our server was overwhelmed and made a mistake with one of our orders. There was also a delay in receiving our food, which arrived chilled. The cake was first brought out with a candle, then taken to the back, sliced, and returned piled on top of each other, placed on the table with tongs for us to serve ourselves. For a paid birthday event, this felt careless and unprofessional. There was a clear lack of food and service. The salads and meat were cleared by 10:30 PM, leaving our table bare, and the beef BBQ was so dry I could barely bite into it. We were told to expect a DJ and live music, but there was no DJ. The live music did not even start until 8:30 PM. Between the few live songs, elevator-style background music was played, which you couldn't dance to. Most of the time you were just sitting and waiting for the next song. In total, there were only a handful of songs the entire night, from about 8:30 PM until 11:30 PM. Then all music was completely shut down by 12:00 AM while there were still guests in attendance. This felt extremely unprofessional and cut our celebration short. The alcohol service was handled very poorly as well. I personally supplied the alcohol to the restaurant, yet only two bottles were placed on our table initially. The rest was kept to the side, and throughout the night the men at our table were asking for alcohol and felt they were expected to tip servers just to have their shots refilled. (Over $250 in tips server collected from my guests) This was uncomfortable and completely inappropriate. For the price I paid, the lack of food, lack of service, and especially the poor handling of music and alcohol made this a very poor experience. I even asked the venue employee would music be back on and they said oh yes long as there are guests music doesn't stop! But it clearly did. I would not recommend this venue for an important celebration. Party ended at 12am on a Friday night.

But when we walked in we saw the parking lot, so we moved the car. (Rare for a restaurant to have a parking lot. About 12 parking spots ) The drinks were tasty. I got the lemon drink, wife got the sweet white drink. .(forget the names) Appetizer. Mexican corn ribs. Funny name. Was super tasty. Was going to order the lamb kafta , but a few minutes later the waiter reported it's unavailable tonight. Instead I went with the dolma . I have had grape leaves in the past , my mom would make them. These were amazing. Packed with loads of flavor. No regrets ! My wife ordered the lamb chops, excellent. Service was great. Ambience was good, nice enough for a nice date night. Would return.

I didn't take pics or walk around the whole restaurant because I was on a date, but will be returning for more. I had a short rib, beet, cabbage soup of sort. My first bite was a bit more beety tasting than I was expected, but then added the dollop of sour cream provided, and it was like magic. It was a unique combination of flavors. Perfect for a dreary night. Filling and warming, and delicious . The presentation was beautiful as well. My date ordered a steak that also came with vegetables. He enjoyed, and it was cooked perfectly Our waitress was great. She had a good sense of what level of attention each table needed as I watched her. My only regret last night was not ordering some pistachio cheesecake that a table next to us ordered when seemingly just coming in for a quick dessert. This is a great place for a family dinner or a date, or something a little bit more upscale. Love that they had a parking lot, as well as there was plenty of street parking. I'm excited to return to try some more things on the menu. You can also call for reservations, although it was surprisingly not very busy for a Saturday night.

If you're getting one of the more expensive steaks, I'd say the overall price point is pretty comparable to Hillstone restaurants. Definitely a nice spot if you're looking for a modern Armenian/Georgian and Mediterranean fusion experience.

Not only that, they were either out of or didn't have enough of so many things. No shishito peppers, ran out of filet mignon after a handful of orders, out of the sake we ordered, only one bottle of the wine we ordered was available...it was almost comical. In addition, service was abysmally slow & forgetful, food came out cold, and wasn't that great/cooked correctly either. My "rare" filet mignon was medium at best. The "rib chop" my coworkers got was flaaat as hell and overcooked with inconsistent presentation/preparation. Can't send my overcooked filet back of course because it's the last one. Crème brûlée was actually soup in the middle. Bread pudding was dense and unpleasant. Potatoes were cold. Given our group dropped almost three grand, it was pretty damn lackluster. It's too bad because it's in a great location and has nice ambiance, but that doesn't make up for everything else. Brownie sundae was the lone highlight.
