Why aren't you checking on your tables periodically? Why do we have to walk to the hostess stand to find you? Why does the food take so long to come out when parking fees are atrocious ($30-40)? Why do we then have to wait 15 mins for a to go box and another 15 mins for the check? We also had a bday girl with us and were told they don't have candles or bday cake for them, and proceeded to give us a dessert menu. We then asked to speak with the manager who didn't have much to say or offer. We just want you, sir, to retrain. Food: Food was pretty good but my mom's came out ice cold with the wrong sides. The calamari was chewy and on a bed of uncooked spinach. Was that a garnish or were we supposed to eat it was my question? The chicken and biscuits were good and the salmon hash was good. That sauce on both is really nice.

We hoped to find a place that offered decaf coffee since it was late in the day, but really wanted something warm since it was a bit chilly outside. Unfortunately, this location of Toastique does not offer decaf - they only have a single hopper for their coffee, so it is not an offering. We were going to find another place, however, they said how about a hot chocolate or a tea. My friend is vegan and inquired if their hot cocoa was vegan, as most places have dairy in the chocolate. The cashier went to look at the chocolate syrup and also had another person look at it to verify it's vegan. My friend ordered a hot chocolate with oat milk. Even though it was busy, we only waited about 5 minutes for her drink. We appreciated the effort to double check it was vegan, though I do wish they had decaf options.

I ordered a club sandwich which came on a scallion pancake (crispy and delicious) and a cherry blossom iced latte (espresso was a little bitter). Our food was brought to us without even needing a table number (great memory by the person taking our order). I'm pretty sure this cafe is connected to either a hotel or apartment building. There is lots of great seating and it wasn't too busy when we ate around 3pm. Terrific experience and I would highly recommend!
