Let's start off with three facts about me:…read more 1. I spend a lot of time in noisy places. 2. I like music. 3. I like my ears. so - what does 1 + 2 + 3 equal? Custom headphones. Oh yes. Custom baby. I got sick and tired of all the commercially available headphones out there - they're either too big, don't block enough noise, too uncomfortable, or suffer from any other massive problem. So I decided to have custom headphones made that were actually molded to fit my ear perfectly while also blocking off ambient noise. I called around to the local Westone dealers (as Westone is one of the major groups that do custom headphones) - and Audiology Services quoted me the cheapest price - $90. Apparently their main business is hearing aids - but they do these custom headphone molds as well. I went in and met one of the audiologists there, Gayle Nye (on a side note - I love that job title). Gayle was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Heck, we even share the same alma mater. Work was done quickly and well. If I had to complain about anything - it'd be that they quoted me $90, but when I came in they realized that the proper price was $100. They apologized for this, but it was still annoying. Even at that price they were more than $50 cheaper than the next cheapest group I spoke with. Highly recommended.

I wasn't sure at first if I wanted to purchase anything on the day of my first appointment but the fact that they will refund your money within 30 days if you don't like the aids was very appealing. And if I waited any longer, I wouldn't have gotten them in time for Christmas. Well, it's been about 2 months with my hearing aids and I absolutely LOVE them! I purchased a pair of ReSound hearing aids that are compatible with my iphone and there are so many useful features that I didn't know could exist. I even misplaced the aids in my house one day and was able to track them down with the GPS feature, very cool! Charlie (the provider) really knows his stuff and whenever I have called the office, the staff has always been so kind and accommodating. I've only needed a few adjustments before the aids really felt like they were tuned to my personalized hearing. I highly recommend DHA to anyone!

When you do get an appointment at the NA office you'll find they have no staff, equipment or supplies needed to fully service your hearing aids. Your statement: If I did not do this, then I would not be following my code of conduct and ethics. Your statement: Your insurance did pay their portion, and just so we are transparent, the deductible for you and your wife was $64.74 each and $150.15 for your children. I am really impressed with the eye team at Mass Eye and Ear in Stoneham. I have been going there…read morefor a few years. It's important to get there early, it's a busy practice and they have lots of tests but at least there is a nice waiting area in between them. I have a few eye issues but I feel really confident with my doctors, they do a great job of explaining treatments, procedures, and addressing my concerns. What creditials can't give you, however, is patient care. My experience with the front desk/administrative staff, the nurses, the other doctors I interacted with (it's a learning hospital) and Dr. Gray herself has been beyond exceptional. The front desk staff (especially Sam) has gone beyond all expectations to make certain that I was prepared for the appointment, had all the answers to any questions I may have had, and even went through great lengths to assist me in scheduling an appointment with another specialist Dr. Gray referred me to who had a notoriously difficult front staff and who I was especially frustrated with. The remainder of the administrative staff was also friendly and helpful, from receptionist to billing. Dr. Gray herself was friendly and informative. She took the time to explain each test she was doing and why it was needed and, although, ultimately, my problem does not lie in Dr. Gray's arena to be resolved (hence the referral), she was helpful in ruling out potential causes and helping me understand what the next steps would be. I cannot recommend highly enough Dr. Gray and her associates.
