This was my second time visiting the symphony hall. I usually park across the street and walk over. The facilities are clean and the ushers are pleasant. We found our seats quickly and had a great view of the stage. I came for the Bach, Haydn and Mozart concert. I didn't buy any drinks or snacks but they are on the pricey side. Overall a good experience.

Very unique and beautiful! The bathrooms were clean too. I was confused about the concession stand here. Really the whole place is confusing. It feels like a hotel until you go into the auditorium, but you have to buy up all your snacks up front. However, it didn't taste worth the price and the inside of the auditorium is very dated. I had higher hopes for this place, especially it being my first time here.

Nice place to get away from it all. My friend took me here. I haven't been here for 10+ years!. I love live music from Hard Rock to symphonies! Only thing that would make this a five star is that they are more reasonable in their pricing of their drinks and snack offering, $4.50 for Water is a little high

Atlanta is so lucky to have such an amazing orchestra! Nathalie Stutzmann as music director is just exquisite! Their chorus is also fantastic and 100% volunteer!

First time coming to this location for the Ledisi The Good life concert this past Monday. I decided to surprise my mom and buy her tickets to the show this past Christmas. To ensure we had secure parking I opted to get the parking pass. The venue has their own parking garage Adjacent to it. On the ticket, it refers to the parking pass as WAC aka Woodruff Art Center garage parking. Parking was very smooth and we didn't have any issues. The galleria of the symphony hall resembles an elite living room for guests. The chairs were comfortable and plush. Like any concert venue trying to market off of concert goers the concession stands had food for purchase. The prices were steep, for a bag of chips it was about 4 dollars. The size of the bag was roughly like a dollar bag. I guess you can say you pay for the convenience. The bathrooms were clean and not crowded at all. One thing I did like that security wasn't jam packed as well. Given the venue is smaller than a State Farm/Mercedes Benz Arena they do not have a specific bag policy. Now on to the best part of the experience:Ledisi the entertainer/headliner. She did not have any opening acts which attributed to why the show started around 8:30 that evening. This gave concert goers plenty of time to get your snacks/drink & get to your seats. Ledisi had a band that consisted of drummer, two back up singers, person on the guitar and keys. Everything blended like ingredients of your favorite cake. Ledisi microphone WAS all the way on! She sounded even better than the music tracks. She sung over 20 songs and kept the crowd entertained in between songs with her personality. The concert was sold out and I spoke to some people who purchased the Meet and Greet Package. According to them she was extremely nice. The place was also nice and clean and our tickets were super close to the stage. Overall, it was a wonderful time and I can't wait to come back to have another great experience.

One of my absolute favorite places to go/things to do in the city is going to watch the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra at the Symphony Hall. I've been here twice and I've fallen in love with this place every time I go. First time, I went to see a Christmas show about a year ago and the place was decorated beautifully for Christmas with a big tree in the lobby area. The second time was to watch Coco with the symphony playing music in the background. It truly brought tears to my eyes because this was such a beautiful experience. Their staff is great and the bar is such an added bonus. Drink prices are quite reasonable imo. The building itself is a bit outdated but a fun place to go to regardless. PS: The Resident is also filmed at the lobby quite often

It was wonderful experience to listen to Diana Kroll at Atlanta Symphony Hall. In order to avoid finding parking, I decided to park at MARTA, and use MARTA to get to Arts Center, it was 5 minutes walk to the Hull building. Since it's early I walked around the building, found a Augusta Rodin's sculpture: The Shade, casted from original mold. At front door, one could either be checked with temperature or show proof of vaccination, face masks were required. Once inside there are couple of stocked bars if you want to grab a drink. My seat was on Loge section which is on balcony level, so I followed stairs to second level. The hull itself is medium size, make people feel comfortable. At balcony level, view is not great, a binoculars is recommend, acoustics is good enough to hear the details, it's different to listen at the site than listen to her albums.

Got to enjoy an excellent show last Thursday night. My favorite selections were Carlos Simon's "Fate Now Conquers" and Benjamin Britten's "Violin Concerto, Op. 15" movements I. II. and III, Stéphane Denéve - conducting and Augustin Hadelich - on the Violin. It was magical and the sound was amazing in the Hall. This is a great place to catch a live performance.

Attended a recent performance and had a great time. The bar tenders were quick with orders and extremely polite. The acoustics in the symphony Hall were incredible and I had an excellent view of the orchestra, conductor and performers. Be ware of the steep angle when entering the hall if you're wearing heels in the orchestra area as it may be easy to slide if not careful. I had a wonderful time and the orchestra was out of this world. The popcorn is buttery and warm if you need a quick snack during intermission or before the performance begins. A plus were the photographers and the many areas to take great images. If you're looking for a great date night or an experience. Look no further.

Located off of Piedmont Avenue - a one way street, look for the valet sign to pull in on the left. The cafe sits below street level - it's downstairs, like in the basement. But the vibes and energy shout sexy, speakeasy and spot to see new or rising talent. On this visit there wasn't any special guest or talent - it was Open Mic. Sign up and save $10 on the cover at the door. They seat you and servers provide menus for food and drinks. We had the grilled shrimp, others had pizza and light bites. The Texas margaritas were delicious and served strong. The talent was engaging and ranged from poets to singers. Overall, I'd definitely come back and check ahead to see who's performing. With the parking and cover, you invest some cash before you're entertained.

Good amount of seating that gives off a family basement kind of vibe. I'll start with the con: the service here was subpar. We sat in the overflow area and there were tables all around us. The two servers that we saw in the area repeatedly NEVER came to our table to greet us or take our order. My boyfriend ended up having to walk himself to the bar to get a drink and order some food for us. Even once the food came I had to flag her down to get another drink. We were not hidden or hard to see, so that was very disappointing. The comedy show was really good. The comedians were fun and funny. Each one's personality was so different and big and we laughed the whole night. Although good service is huge to me, I'd come back and give it another try because overall I really enjoyed the scene.

The security, entrance staff, and bartender were all super kind. We could leave and come back, which was nice. It was a bit cold inside the venue so I liked being able to go back to my car for a jacket, which most other venues do not allow. They have a parking garage that ranges from $10-25, which is probably the best bet as parking is limited in this area. Overall, I think this is a great venue. It was clean, easy to grab a drink, and incredible to get so close to the artist performing. It really elevates the performance and whole experience. First, the location is convenient if you're staying at the Hampton Inn Midtown (just one block to the north). The Vinyl is an intimate room that only holds up to 100 people, so the audience is quite close to the performers. Second, the $18 cover price was reasonable to hear two bands. I actually enjoyed the warm-up performance ("Little Hopes" - a local Atlanta couple who are talented with a positive vibe in their folk/country duets) a lot more than the main event (a Texas band which was way too loud). Can't comment on the food (none is served here), and I skipped the bar given several Yelp reviewer complaints of exorbitant prices. The venue provides free water and cups. One downside is that most people need to stand (not many seats). I arrived 15 minutes before the show started and was able to find a comfortable chair in the back. Look forward to my next visit to Atlanta and seeing another live performance!

The Tabernacle is primarily used for concerts, but hosts other events as well. The building originally opened as a Baptist church in 1911. It became a music venue in 1996. The building retains a lot of the look and feel of an early-20th-century church with interesting architecture, stained glass, creaky wooden floors, and all. It has a lot of character, as they say. It also has a lot of bars, at least one on every floor (there are four floors). We attended Ali Wong Live here on Saturday, April 11, 2026. It was a great show and we enjoyed the venue. My wife bought tickets back in November. We sat on the lower level, fairly close to the stage, in Section 102, Row F, Seats 1-2. These seats plus "Premier Parking" in the 100 Luckie St garage (LAZ Parking) cost $380.09 after taxes and fees, via Ticketmaster. The 100 Luckie St garage is two blocks down the street from the Tabernacle. It's an old garage with tight turns and spaces. Before the show, I got a Hendrick's double-shot gin and tonic at the bar in the side room on the second level. It cost $33.45 after tip. A good drink, but expensive. Before this month, the last time I was here was Saturday, August 9, 2014 for a big Yelp event / Yelper party. If you're going to use a fog machine, you need to disclose it ahead of time, especially for children, people with respiratory issues, or anyone sensitive to it. On top of that, there was a child crying during the performance. Instead of quietly and discreetly taking them outside, staff tried to address it in the middle of the show, which was distracting for everyone. That said, I do want to thank the venue for working with us to get a refund. The space itself is nice, and I'm open to returning for other productions in the future. Just a heads-up--the seating is very intimate, so be prepared to be close to your neighbors.
