A beautiful place to hear a concert. It's very intimate and the acoustics are amazing. Beautiful outside view.

There seems to be plenty of parking on the street as well as the lot behind the building. It was around noon when I arrived and they were serving their brunch menu. I had the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit that came with eggs and a side of grits. The biscuit was large, soft, and toasted and the fried chicken on top crisp and seasoned well. It was sweet from the honey. The eggs (I had them scrambled) were fine, but nothing remarkable. The grits were quite spicy for my taste, but I'm a wimp from the Midwest so they were probably great. I enjoyed everything. I would have liked an unsweetened iced tea, but only sweet tea was available. I had a fountain soft drink instead of. The restaurant was light and airy. The furniture was a bit worn and the dishes were plain white plastic but on the whole it was a lovely place. My server was pleasant and attentive.

Finally, made it to this restaurant. I would be back…read more Parking, plenty. This is rare that a brunch spot has so much parking. There is a huge open parking lot on W. Mill across the street. There is also street parking. Wait to be seated. Best to have a reservation during peak hours. Weekend brunch and evenings I imagine to be busy. QR code menu. NOTE if you go during brunch and you get a cocktail from the menu you won't see the prices for brunch. That is part of the reason for the low rating. Even though the drink menu says the days and hours for those prices, you have to ask for the after those hours. The menu has your typical southern brunch flare with a twist. The drink menu is good. I ordered the impossible burger slider, it doesn't come with anything. Just two sliders. I ordered the potatoes. Even though the sliders were decent. It was a little salty. Presentation was good. Watermelon savage. I also tried the scrambled eggs - way too salty. It was inedible. My brunch partner didn't like the grits or chicken biscuit that it came with. Service was fine. Decor and atmosphere was nice. Overall, it was decent. It seems like a nice place to grab drinks and catch a vibe or be the vibe. Gratuity is included. Overall, decent spot. Oh and there is outdoor seating that includes a stage.

I have been in Stockbridge many times and never noticed they had a music venue as nice as this place. We purchased 3 VIP tickets at a table in front of the stage. We were entitled to entering the venue through a special entrance near the side of the stage. There was no wait compared to the line at the regular entrance. Once the usher showed us our seats we settled in and set up our table. There was a couple already sitting there and it was plenty of room to share the table. The venue did not allow you to bring your own soft drinks or alcoholic beverages, however you could bring your own food. As part of our package we were entitled to a free pic on the red carpet. That was cute. The venue was a hit with us as a group. The sound was excellent and the vibe was amazing.

TICKETS Save fees by buying directly from the box office, open weekends. Ticket prices increase closer to the event. PARKING/Rules Want good parking? Prepay only and it sells out. Orange lot ($43) near City Hall. Blue ($23) near the amphitheater. Website mentions free school parking but the lots I saw charged what they wanted. Coolers allowed (no glass). Website says no umbrellas & clear bags only. Patrons with umbrellas and non-clear bags were admitted. No reentry. PROS Short security lines and clear views with inclined seats and a large screen. $$$ VIP tables in front include valet parking but you have to look up to see the stage. Friendly staff will guide you to your seat. Possibly no more free ponchos "due to China." MAJOR CON NO rain but Mayor Ford announced he was stopping the concert due to the "threat of lightening." Only 1 of 6 artists gave a full performance before we were evacuated. He had the luxury of waiting at the venue. Even after it stopped raining, he said the show couldn't continue until the "lightening cleared" but didn't say how that would be communicated. One attendee said "if you hear music and see crowds entering" it's resumed. Another said this is a regular occurrence. She sits in her car until 11pm and if it hasn't continued she knows it will be rescheduled. After we hiked to the car it rained then stopped, then sprinkled. After an hour we walked back assuming the show would resume. It didn't. We waited longer but after seeing lightening we left, assuming the concert would be rescheduled. The next day I looked for the new date. Our plans were ruined but a makeup show was better than nothing. VyStar posted on Facebook that the concert had resumed at 9:37 pm, 7 minutes after we left. Technically, they can wait until 10:30 and have a 30 minute show, VyStar will not issue a refund. Patrons who returned complained the show was rushed. Artists only got to perform 2 to 3 songs each because the city requires events to end by 11pm. They paid full price for 1/4 of a show. We paid for nothing! COMMON SENSE ALTERNATIVES 1. Cover the amphitheater like Mable House. 2. Honor their "Rain or Shine" policy allowing the show to go on. There was no emergency so patrons should be able to decide whether to stay. 3. Communicate updates via text, email or say "check Facebook." 4. Reschedule or refund tickets. They didn't because they don't care. SUM Don't pay full price for an abbreviated show and risk getting soaked or kicked out due to threats of lightening. Avoid VyStar Stockbridge Amphitheater! Patronize a covered venue. Or at least one that respects customers enough to refund or reschedule when the show is stopped and patrons are forced to evacuate.

It's great that this piece of history will continue on as it has for the past almost 100 years! I'm so glad I got tickets to see a performance here because the experience was great. I definitely will have to keep my eye out for other shows to catch. Surprisingly, security was fast. It took me maybe a minute to get through and scan my ticket. Staff was friendly and really helpful. They check tickets for seats before directing you to another member that will guide you to your seat. My friend and I came to see Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and it was amazing! I believe they stopped by Atlanta last year, and I'm glad that they returned. According to the program, each day had some differences as to what was performed, and I considered going again just to see the other dances. Truly talented people come to perform, and it's so great that Fox is here as a venue for them to showcase their talents.

Pros: -The Box Office opens several hours before the shows (this provides an opportunity to upgrade seats). -The security at The Fox is bar none! They manage the lines and quickly move the crown through the scans. -Staff is vey friendly, welcoming and super helpful. - Food options are pretty good (although pricey). -Upstairs sound quality is great. Cons: -The Box Office staff is super slow and there are no line markers to separate Box Office/Will Call from the window for Season Ticket holders. -On the Orchestra floor, the sound quality is hit or miss depending on where you sit. Tip: Avoid double letters on the left and right if you can. - Exiting the theater through side doors can be super dangerous at night. The stairs are step and lighting is limited They should have a sign to warn seniors. Many of them were having difficulty getting down.

The flier for the Friday night party said it's R&B, Hip Hop and Afrobeats. There wasn't a single R&B or Afrobeats song played. It was all drill music or City Girls/Sexy Red type of rap. The only change we got was the three 90s pop and rock songs the DJ played as punishment for people not getting up to dance. He actually threatened to play country music but ended up playing the three songs by Aerosmith, Backstreet Boys and N'Sync. Our server was nice but kept forgetting to bring the water I requested. Also, pay attention to your bar bills. I went to the bar to get two drinks and I didn't notice they automatically add gratuity to the bar bills. Not knowing this, I added a $6 tip (more than the gratuity added) so essentially I gave an $11 tip for two $12 drinks. That's a third drink! And there's a fee for not using cash...in 2023! I don't think I'll be back but from now on, I'll definitely pay more attention to the bills.

The vibe is fun once things get going, but be prepared to wait. Live music started over an hour late, and there's not much standing room, so I'd recommend reserving a table. Now, onto the food. I ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos (three to a plate), which were supposed to be fried shrimp topped with Asian slaw and boom boom sauce. What I got instead? Iceberg lettuce, shredded cheese, and a light drizzle of sauce. Not what was described or expected, or worth $20. Only bottled water available - small bottles for $5+. I declined. The price point overall didn't make much sense throughout the entire menu. To top it off, my friend ordered a Moscato and was given the wrong wine - Chardonnay, if I remember correctly. The waitress initially pushed back, but as the wine aficionado of the group, I could confidently say it wasn't Moscato. She eventually took it back to the bar, apologized, and swapped it. Would we go back? Yes--for the drinks and live music, once the night hits its stride. But for food? Not so much.

They have an indoor and outdoor area on Sundays and the music is always good. People are friendly and it's a vibrant atmosphere. The only reason I wouldn't give this place five stars is because the food is just OK. I ordered the shrimp pasta and it had what tasted like almost no seasoning. Everything was cooked nicely. The shrimp was cooked nicely and the pasta was as well but it just needed some salt and I was disappointed because they gave me plastic cutleries and I was looking to see if they had the little salt and black pepper packet in it and it didn't so I couldn't even add any salt on top to make it a little bit more flavorful. I still definitely love this place though for the drinks and just a good time. I absolutely recommend this place because it is a lot of fun.
