Ask the Community - The Atrium

Do they have a coat check?

When I went the weather was mild so we didn't need to check coats. Even if they do have it however, I would not recommend using it in light of the shadiness that occurred with my friend's credit card. ..

Guys, this is a DIVE BAR! No kidding, it is dark, crazy decor, OLD bar chairs that need replacing…read moreor new pleather. That's the charm! Such friendly folks, absolutely nothing fancy, but patrons dressed in all types of dress; shorts, jeans, leather, short skirts with heals, dress pants, tie-die. Pretty fun. All ages too (no kids). We came to see Spirit of Dio, $10 pp at the door. PARKING... OMG GOOD LUCK. DO NOT GO DOWN THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING- NO PARKING & you will have to back out to turn around!!!! SMALL lot shared with others in the strip. I happened to get a spot right in front. Guy at the door said when other establishments close overflow parking can be there- don't get yourself towed! Maybe find a safe place & walk over?? You would THINK by looking at the outside food would be discussing- NOPE! ALL food we saw going by & the HUGE portion of chicken fingers & fries were piping hot & FRESH! Crispy & those fries!!! Beer is a great price!! See pics & video. The band sounded really great- they have a little sound booth that did a great job! The band (Spirit of Dio) always kills it!!! Server was Tiffany - she was THE BEST!!! Stay safe & drink responsibly!!

The Hall of sparkling tassles that you enter through sets the stage for the excitement you feeli anticipating hearing a favorite band. Got a good set up for a stage. Loved the collectable guitars behind the band.. GREAT Art & concert posters cover every inch of wall. Limited seating so get there early. The wait staff hustle and keep a smile on their face. Small dance floor. Smoking out back.. ampe parking in front and at the closed for the night business next door. The original moonshadow was an icon for music. This location is smaller but better in many ways

So, we made the visit for a girls night but there was nothing nostalgic about the experience. The place was majority empty. We assumed it was because we arrived early, 7:30ish closer to 8. However my experience leads me to think differently. Upon entry we were greeted and seated. The menus were already laid on the table waiting for us. So, needless to say there was little to nothing for the host to greet you with or for; table presentation was NOT there. No cups napkins, condiments, eating utensils nothing! We got into the menus -ordered Soul Rolls, a Crab Cake, and 2-orders of wings for appetizers. The soul rolls were overcooked, the yams none existent, and the Macaroni was dry. The crab crake had a fishy taste to it and 1 order of wings was undercooked (per order request) the other was good. When we asked for the wings to be re-made they just throw the wings back in the grease and re-served them. Our MEALS: 2- Rasta Pastas, the yard man snapper, and the jalapeño burger. We had to ask for eating utensils 2x's and after about and 5 more minutes we got them. The Fish was okay but for what it cost (w/ gratuity) and tasted like -wasted money!!! The Rasta pasta was only Alfredo no peppers, cajun season or onions. I guess the burger was decent. We all ordered drinks - lemon drop flight, 4-24 k gold drinks, white wine sangria, and another lemon drop. The drink were meh - the lemon drop flight came w/ ice. My friend wanted a second sangria but couldn't order b/c they ran out of wine and I got a head ache after I drank the two 24ks. Then it came down to paying! Now I thought I was doing good on my balance but I got swindled. First off she had me pay my tab BEFORE she showed me my itemized receipt which include an auto 18% gratuity for 4 people (not worthy) service was SLOW and bad! Not to mention they charged a $2 difference on my drinks. The menu had $16 but I was charged $18 for both. Make them show your receipt ahead of payment. B/c we tipped on top of the gratuity that was included in our bill but weren't informed the tip was already included. The interior was nice, I liked the booth seating and decor. I really liked the fireplace setting. It gave a warm cozy feel. The music was a slight vibe once the drinks kicked in that's it. Advice- Don't believe content creators b/c they have special treatment!

Wow! What an amazing time was had at our 40th year class reunion. Someone told me about The Red…read moreDoor as I was looking for a nice place to host our reunion. Their packages are affordable and the facility is nice. We chose a package that included the décor and it was so beautiful! Our classmates kept commenting on the location and the décor. You can go all inclusive or add in what works best for your budget. A huge shout out to Veronica, our event manager who was very friendly and helpful! Thank you Red Door for helping to make our event a success! I will definitely tell others.

First of all, please accept this review as constructive criticism.  The building is a house…read moreconverted to a venue.  The event center is downstairs and is very small.  The workers kept walking throughout the performance crossing in front of us.  There was nowhere to place my legs with the card table set-up.  Management did not place my group at the correct table, and they kept inquiring about the number of our table.   Poor service; very unprofessional.  The bar was set up in a corner.  Drinks were weak.   They acted as though this was their first time serving patrons.  We ordered simultaneously, and two of us received their food (a pasta dish and hot wings).  The food was cold.  After 30 minutes, we received chicken tacos, which were soft tacos shells and some substance supposedly chicken.  It looked more like turkey to us; no flavour and extremely cold.  We were totally taken back.  Apparently,  there isn't a functioning kitchen at the facility. Not even sternos to keep the food hot.  Where is the quality?  Why put an event together and it was thrown together?  We try to patronize black owned businesses, but to present that poor quality is a disservice to us.  Then, on top of that, the emcee was a straight-from-the-hood woman with poor grammar that talked on and on about nothing.  Quite simply, jazz is classy music that attracts a certain genre of people.  The band played and moved as though they were auditioning or rehearing.  During the intermission, they presented spoken word.  Horrible.  We left in the middle of the poet's set.  They even allowed the photographer to speak, thanked his girlfriend, and solicited his services.  I will never recommend this establishment or "band."  A waste of my hard earned dollars, time and patience.  I will be sharing with all forms of social media to put the word out.
