I hired ATI restoration (Riverside branch) to assist with the cleaning of my home and attic insulation due to the Eaton Canyon fire. The R30 insulation was ripped apart "sprinkled" in my attic, clearly under 10". After sending pictures of the attic insulation and pictures of ash still in my home clearly on desks (under the boxes they placed on top to cover the ash), I've been unsuccessful on getting ATI back out to my home. I'm anemic and have been running the heater, due to the improper insulation. Despite having a general contractor inform them of the corrections needed, they continue to avoid completing the job. Charging over $18,000.00 for cleaning and attic insulation, to receive an incomplete job is unacceptable! It's very unfortunate this is the disaster after the disaster! read more

This is the worst restoration company ever !! AAA recommended this company and they got the bid of 22k and they used all HomeDepot cabinets that maybe cost $1500 and charged me $300 cash for quartz counter tops ! My job was delayed 5 days because they had another job to finish. Also they were paid $2500 to move all my furniture out and I had to move it back in because they did not have enough people to move it back in. I also had to build shelves in the cabinets because they don't do that !! I had to call AAA 4 times to complain before things got done and lastly the worst communication ever !! Water damage can be a serious pain to deal with, unfortunately ATI only added to the issues, rather than address them properly. To begin with, the first crew that came out left an air dryer that had absolutely no way of reaching the damaged sub flooring. I mentioned the ineffectiveness of this and was told, "we're required to do this until we get direction from the insurance company." A week later, a crew showed up to assess and eradicate the damage, and unfortunately, they were hugely unprepared. They had no ladder and had to borrow mine. None of the batteries on their power tools were charged, so they had to use my power to charge them. They also asked if they could plug their personal phones in to be charged as well. They also had to go to Home Depot because they didn't have screws to secure the flooring they replaced. To top it off, they had to borrow a pen to fill out my contract sheet, what a joke... A follow up crew came out a few weeks later and basically stated that the first crew didn't address the issue properly and more repairs were done to address the remaining issue. Fast forward to the day they came out to pick up the air dryers. The manager Corey said that the eradication process was successfully completed and signed off on the repairs. He stated that I would be contacted by the finishing crew, who would replace the temporary sub flooring and insulation. He also said he would complete an estimation for replacing the flooring if I elected to go with them. It's been over two weeks and I haven't heard a peep. Fortunately, my insurance company stepped in and assigned a new contractor. All in all, this company is totally unprofessional and not to be trusted to follow up on anything they promise. read more

DO NOT use this company. My landlord hired them because they were the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I was told by the property manager and ati workers that ALL VISIBLE mold would be removed. I have a severe mold allergy and we have toxic mold in our master and baby's nursery. We returned home today after leaving for "remediation" only to find they left visible mold in the sub flooring and the studs. We are very disheartened that a remediation company could do this to us knowing the mold could kill me. "Sealing" toxic mold is only a temporary fix, the wood needed to be removed completely. When we had a slab leak, I didn't realize the extent water damage could do. My Plumber stopped the leak. ATI sent a mitigation team, who immediately checked the extent of the water damage, cut open the walls and started drying out my house. I was shocked to see my house in pieces, walls open, floor torn up and ceiling cut apart from re piping. ATI did an assessment, worked with my adjuster, and guided me through every aspect. I had kids in school, taking finals at the time and an autistic child who had issues with change and being disrupted. My project manager worked with our schedules, working swiftly and efficiently to keep our home life as settled and undisturbed as possible for my son. They used great professionals, who helped turn my disastrous house, into a showplace. They worked with me on my ideas, brought samples, and like all restoration projects, when something unexpected came up, worked directly with my insurance adjuster, so my life was hassle free. We had to go to a hotel at the end for what we thought would be 2 weeks. I got a call after 7 days saying we could move back in tomorrow. When we arrived home, I was pleasantly surprised to see a beautiful house, floors, appliances replaced. It was a miracle. I couldn't thank my project manager enough. Any questions I had, he was quick to answer and take care of if needed. When I had to have some downtime for my son, they worked on giving us a few days, and picking back up without without fault. I was so impressed with their professionalism, level of expertise, and communications. Our landlord had this company come fix our kitchen, which was out for 3 months now. Like other reviews, I'm assuming cause they're the cheapest. We had slight mold but major water damage so they brought out the blowers, didn't close off the kitchen area so they blew dust and everything around the whole damn house leaving all our furniture covered in dust and whatever else was left from removing our entire kitchen. We have kids, this is unexceptable. The communication between all their workers is ass. The lady that was doing our cabinet installation would come in whenever she wanted just because they had a lock box. She came walking in at 7pm!!!! We have our cars outside and they knew we were staying in the house. Her workers didn't speak any English. If you want good carpentry done do not hire these people. They don't know how to cut small holes for wiring. They came and measured twice and still managed to mess up. All our appliances BARELY fit and all the cabinets are way smaller than before. The guy that originally had come do the texture on the wall did the most HORRIBLE job and they kept sending in only one guy to do all the work! We had to have them come back out and they finally did the texture the right way instead of using damn can texture spray. We just had to keep telling the landlord to have them come back and fix this or fix that. 3 months! Just ridiculous. It does look nice from the outside, but coming from a family that knows good standards are carpentry....this company is the worst and the job done is basic shitty work. I would not recommend ever. And if you don't like lack of communication on when the workers would be showing up then I 100% wouldn't recommend. read more

I would give a negative star if possible. Renee McFadden, the project manager came out and did the bid. She submitted it to our insurance company. We told her that we wanted to shop around on the flooring and she said they don't piece out work like that. I plan on matching my flooring in the downstairs part of my house, not just throw something else down so they get the job. That is my right. She tried pushing us to use her for flooring and once she found out that we weren't using her for flooring, she said they are booked months out. Please take note that I have a major leak and they are more concerned about my floor than finding the source of the leak. I would suggest not using this company. read more

My experience with ATI and Aaron Gallagher was so refreshing. If you look at another review I wrote for a company I mistakenly used when my house flooded, you will understand more of the back story (it's in two parts because it's so long). After the nightmare that I went through with that other company, I contacted ATI based on referral, and Aaron came to my house to assess the mess that the previous contractor had left behind. He was so pleasant to work with, very personable and down to earth. He found everything single thing wrong and incomplete that the other guys left behind, and he genuinely felt sorry for the situation. He was able to do the bid in a very timely matter and went over everything with me. Without regret, I went with ATI to complete the repairs on my house and I am beyond satisfied; the crew was great, they came every day until it was done, and Aaron kept a great line of communication throughout. They were able to do what was 5 months' worth of work from the other contractor and do it in less than 2 weeks! The work was impeccable and they did everything the other contractor originally failed to do. My husband and I really cannot express the gratitude we have for ATI and Aaron. They were the light at the end of the very long, dark tunnel we had to go through. I will reach out to as many people as I can to steer them away from the unpleasant contractor and to ATI. I had a small kitchen fire that destroyed ceramic tiles, a cabinet, ceramic counter top and liiving room carpeting along with some smoke damage throughout the house. My insurance company recommended ATI. My first contact with them was amazing and since the house was on fire and had smoke damage all my things were packed up and sent to their off site facility for storage. The packing team was fantastic and quick. The smoke smell was completely gone and the house had a fresh smell. I checked on the house progress on a regular basis. The carpet/flooring guy was fast and helped me pick out the option that really worked well together. As for the painters and textures they did a good job with the exception of the cabinets. They painted white paint over hinges which flaked off before I even moved back into my home. The entire kitxhen had to be re-hinged and the holes did not match exact. The counter had been ceramic and upgraded to granite it looked nice however the craftmanship around the counter was a little shoddy and they had to come back out and fix that as well. If you decide to use this company please.make sure you look over the work and the bill, as I was charged twice for some things and once for some things that were not done. Upon returning my furniture some of my personal items were never returned to me from their storage unit. I was missing boxed items such as christmas china, couch pillows, linens...when questioned they said they returned everything however I was emailed a picture of my stuff opened and sitting on a tarp at their warehouse. I never received these items back and once ATI got paid in full minus a little off the top for damaged items I never heard anything more from them. read more

I dealt with Andy and his crews out of their Simi Valley, CA office. Not only did they come in and vacuum out most of the water within a short time of the rain damage (in the evening), but they put plastic under the furniture to prevent more damage until the carpet could be removed the following day. I have a bedroom full of old, heavy and in some cases antique furniture, and they managed to move everything sufficiently to get the drywall open and treated. Once the repairs were made, everything went off like clockwork to get the bedroom back to normal. They show up when they say they will and each crew is as good as the next. For a stressful situation (master bedroom flooded with rain water throughout) and all the work that has to be done to open up the walls, repair, paint and put down carpeting, etc., the experience was less stressful because they knew what they were doing and I trusted them to do the job right. This company has been very unprofessional. Constantly changing the quote, having to wait days to hear from anyone, and then when they do call, they don't have an answer to our original question. They say they'll be over a certain day and then nothing! We've been waiting for 2 weeks for someone to come out with carpet samples. Each time we call we're told they'll send someone right out! Nothing as of yet! They're painters messed up on the trim when taking down the tape. They said they have to increase the amount charged to fix it!
