I was extremely satisfied with my service. I called the Greek Mover's in the middle of the night and spoke with a answering service. I then received a prompt response from a man named Peter who gave me a fair price and arranged to have 2 movers at my residence that morning! These movers (Mario and Brandon) were a HUGE HELP!!! They were ready and eager to assist in any way we needed them to, both very fit and in shape, so they had no issues doing any heavy lifting. I have to say this was the best moving experience I have ever had! We were able to get the move scheduled in short notice and with time options! William, Chino, and William (aka will squared & Chino) were great! Very professional and diligent! They took good care of our belongings, and had creative ideas to make the process very efficient, (we have a large sofa and dresser). I usually have friends help me move, and I always feel guilty about it, so this time I booked Greek Movers. They quoted me about 3-4 hours with 2-3 movers, so I booked 3 hours with 4 movers. I had everything packed and color-labeled by room. When the movers arrived, they said it was a good thing I'd booked 4 movers because my new place was up on the 3rd floor (no elevators). They did NOT provide a new estimate based on what they saw. After 3 hours, they'd only finished loading the truck, and they'd broken my favorite mirror ($100 value) in the process. At that point, it's not like I could cut them off. All my stuff was in their truck. They took another 3 hours to unload, during which time my friend found my box full of jewelry (my most expensive box to be sure) on the ground on the first floor. I don't live in the best neighborhood, and I can't believe this wasn't immediately stolen. They paid no attention to the labels on the boxes and ended up piling everything wherever they could find space, blocking the entry way as they went, making it harder and harder for them to move big items in. When they were done, they gave me my total, which was double the original estimate (we're talking hundreds of dollars over). They knocked an hour off of the price for the broken mirror, but this still left me on the hook for several hundred dollars more than what I'd budgeted. I had 4 guys standing in my home asking for payment, so I felt pretty pressured. It was a terrible feeling. After they left, I discovered that they'd put my shoe rack on top of my mattress (gross) and didn't reassemble my bed properly, so I had to remove the mattress and get under the bed to realign and tighten all the screws. I'm very unhappy with their service and the position they put me in with the final bill. Now I'm out several hundred dollars and one of my favorite pieces of furniture. I'll never book with Greek Movers again. read more

Said "going to dinner, will show up around 5:30". House was locked up and I was two hours away. I told them not to bother. Tried to reschedule next morning. They said "supervisor will get back to you, so sorry". Got new moving company. Owner finally called me at noon. Explained that many issues the previous week had them backed up and that I was supposed to consider the noon to 5 appointment as a 'window'. Still unhappy, but agree this could have been just a misunderstanding. read more

This was my 2nd move of the same item...a player piano...in 6 months. The guys from Greek movers did such a great job the first time, that I didn't hesitate looking to them for the 2nd move. Justin and Brandon arrived on time, with smiles, even though they had driven up the mountain through fog...and snow! They were quick to load up and quick to deliver it to a home down the mountain. Peter and Luis moved my familys furniture from our beach house in Oceanside to my house in Redlands and it was a very nice experience. Peter was extremely nice, and had a very positive attitude. They arrived about an hour late but gave me a decent discount on the move. They were very friendly and did exaclty what i asked and how i wanted things, and worked very fast. They were very cautious with the furniture and wrapped everything very quickly. These guy were very impressive with their knowledge of disassembling and reassembling furniture, very heavy stuff too. I have waited 2 months to post a review of this company. I was very angry and wanted to have a clear conscience posting my review. I hired them to move me at the end of October. They had pretty good previous reviews. I am a stickler for time and had prearranged an early 7-8am start time. received a call "8am-sorry just woke up running late, on our way" received another call, sorry taking longer than thought" Arrived after 9am. 2 football players and they were prepared to lift heavy furniture which was good. When we got to storage they stepped out of the moving truck like Cheech & Chong reeked of pot. although that is acceptable in california, unacceptable while you are driving and working. I thought wow only one item a picture got broken. not too bad. went to storage the next day to pick up a few things. notice every single piece of my furniture was scratched. not little scratches. big gouges on all my furniture. three bedroom sets ruined including headboards dressers and tables. my dining room table ruined. i would seriously think before you use this company. although they are nice guys, late and very careless! read more

Peter's Greek Movers with Frankie as the lead man packed my 4 BR house in a U-Pack trailer to move out of state. They disassembled my beds and did not pack the bolts with the beds. One bed is an Ethan-Allen which they did not wrap in moving blankets (they were just wrapped with plastic moving wrap). It was beat the heck, AND they did not pack the bolts with the bed (we are yet to find them). WHO DOES THIS? GREEK MOVERS! (If they had ran out of blankets they should have told me and I would have gotten more.) They put blocks of wood with a lamp shade, unprotected in a box (damaging the shade). WHO DOES THIS? GREEK MOVERS! They put boxes with cleaning liquids in boxes just thrown in and stacked where they are crushed, and leak and those boxes and the ones under them and their contents were ruined. WHO DOES THIS? GREEK MOVERS! I paid them $1,8000 for 6 movers to load a trailer for me and destroy much of my things. DON'T EVER USE THEM UNLESS YOU JUST DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR STUFF. read more

We hired them to move us into our new home. I was expecting 3 people and got only 2, they said they were trying to get another guy, but never did. So this took a lot longer to get us moved...thus costing more. Not happy. As they were moving stuff out they had loud rap music playing from their phone with inappropriate language. We had kids around and grandparents. We thought it was unprofessional. When I called to set my date, I was told they'd have moving blankets, plastic wrap, etc. They had none. Just a dolly. Some of our furniture got scratched and got paint scuffs from dressers being stacked on top of each other. Our refrigerator was dented. I also had all boxes marked with what rooms they went to as we moved in...75% of the stuff just ended up in iir garage. I felt they were rushed as we unloaded because they were short one.
