Worst movers ever! They kept pushing back the moving time even before moving day. Started out with a 9:00 am time. A few days before the move, our family members were notified that the new time would be 12:00 noon. Annoying, but it is what it is. The night before, the confirmation email now said between Noon and 5:00. Pretty big time span. We stayed positive and hoped for the earlier end. A little after 1:00 we contacted them to see if they had a more specific time frame and were told between 4:00-5:00. This was very concerning with the amount that needed to be moved and the distance of the move. At 4:00, still no contact initiated by them about the time, so again we called and were this time told, between 5:00-6:30!! This was definitely not realistic! It was cutting it too close to the time that the storage unit closed, which they knew was the first stop. They also knew there was a second stop necessary and a 30-40 minute drive with the traffic that late on a Friday. Not to mention it would have had us moving them into a new neighborhood after 8:00 pm. What a rude and disrespectful thing to do to the new neighbors! Our family members chose Greek Movers because they were cheaper than others and more local. HUGE Mistake, but lesson learned! You get what you pay for!! These guys moved our 2 bedroom apartment. In 4 hours total they moved us from Redlands to Rancho Cucamonga. That included moving fridges and couches. I needed a last minute mover to help transfer apartments. Greek movers took my info and I got a call the same day- a Sunday!. I got scheduled for 0800 on NYE with a quote of $267. They have a minimum of three hours work for 267 cash. 10$ extra per hour ($99!as opposed to $89) for card. My move was for a one bedroom and only took 1.5-2hrs, but I still had to pay the full price. The minimum of three hours for small moves is the only negative I have. I knew my move would take at most two hours. If I would've been able to pay for the two hours I would've given five stars. Besides this, the movers George and Nigel were VERY productive! They didn't act weird or nervous and talked to me before starting the timer which is very nice. Worst experience, I have contacted Peter the owner 10 texts messages, 2 emails and 1 certified letter of all the damage to my personal items and also a broken water main from his worker David. He hasn't responded at all. I feel he has had ample time to make this right. Just to add there was other damage to my items, they dropped and broke my China cabinet, scratched my dresser that had just been painted, dints in my washer, two holes in my new couch that I just bought. The Greek Mover in Redlands California, moved me on November 30, 2021. When they arrived the truck broke down. They had another truck sent to my location from Uhaul. The person that brought the truck started helping the other three guys pack the Uhaul. They tried to charge me for the fourth guy. However because thing got so bad during the move they decided not to charge me. I never asked for the 4th person. No one took the time to wrap anything. They tired to move my bed without taking it apart. They also was dragging it across the floor with no wrapping. My bed is cloth so I asked them not drag it. They didn't have the tool to disassemble it. I borrowed tools from my neighbor to disassemble the bed. Next they spent over 45 minutes trying to mover my treadmill which never got mover by the way. They need tools to disassemble the treadmill. I had to go back and asks my neighbor for tools. The Uhaul truck they had couldn't contain everything that I need moved. Once the truck was full they left everything else and didn't finish moving the rest of my things because they wanted more money if they did return for the rest of my things. The truck that broke down sat in my neighbor for 3 days. I call the company and told that they had tickets on the truck for the post office. To some up everything they broke my table leg also. I have been calling Peter leaving messages to call me but he has not return my calls. I did express to him initially that i would like to resolve this at the lowest. He stated that if I had insurance on the table he would pay the deductible. I don't have insurance on the furniture. I have never deal with a company like this before. We were very happy with Peter and his crew on our interstate move. It was an arduous journey and the guys did great. It included a move out of a second story apartment AND the emptying of TWO storage units, including over-size items. Amazingly, they got it all on one 26 foot truck. There was a long drive over mountain passes, and then off-loading into an average size home. No items were damaged. None. Not even antiques. The crew worked fast and hard. They were courteous and efficient and had superb esprit de corps. They were fun. They did no complaining and I had no complaints, either! **We had used Greek Movers for simpler, cross-city moves on 3 other occasions and we were also satisfied with these much shorter moves.** We recommend Greek Movers without reservation. We would use them, again. There are significant advantages over the "professional" big-name interstate moving companies: 1. No combining of our stuff with 3-5 other families living in different areas or states, all put on the same gigantic semi-truck. 2. It took 2.5 days rather than 6 to 12 days. Greek Movers is a nimble firm. And you don't have to stay in a hotel for multiple days or a week or more, waiting for the "pros" to get to your place and off-load. 3. The price will likely be less be less with Greek Movers for most folks, as compared to using the pro movers. Moreover, Peter is willing to negotiate. They never showed up!! I had scheduled a small move, short distance that would have been their minimum fee. Received 2 emails confirming the job. On the day of the move I called when they were a half hour late and was told that since I never replied to their calls & text messages the day before they canceled the job. I never received a call or text from them!! Verified that they had the correct phone number. He said when they called it went to voicemail. When I asked why he didn't leave a message he got flustered so I knew he was lying and hung up. So beware - if they get a better paying job they might not show up! Wow! Queen of England!!?? That's professional! You KNOW you never texted me or left voice messages (they come through even IF a phone is on silent by the way). But make the customer look like the bad guy so your Yelp reviews can look good. read more

We needed mover to help us with a 2 hour move and they were the worst. We added on packing to which the guys didn't even know we had and then had to wait extra time. They did not know how to break down and put the beds back up and claimed they didn't have the tools for it! Packing job was bad they literally threw things in boxes not a care ans broke some of our items. They were not supposed to empty the dresser drawers abd they did and threw the clothes wherever they could, they didn't move stuff into the right room. I could go on and on. When I call now they send me straight to the answering service. I have left 12 messages with no call back, and when I got through to someone he hung up on me. SO SO happy with my experience with Greek Movers about a week ago. We moved from the Inland Empire to Santa Clarita (from a four bedroom house to a five bedroom house) and they did a phenomenal job. It was a LONG day but they got it all done. We got the full service move. So we had NOTHING packed. They arrived at 8 AM (exactly when they said they would) and got started immediately. They had three guys for packing and then had five guys to load and unload. Their packing services are a flat rate, regardless of how long it takes. And then you pay hourly for the loading, unloading and double drive time. I looked up about 8 different movers on Yelp (all with great reviews), and Greek Movers ended up being the most cost efficient. I had messaged Peter on Yelp to ask some questions and he was SO nice and patient even with my thousand questions. Thank you so much Greek Movers! They were nice guys and easy to work with. However, they had a whole in the top of the truck. It rained and messed some of our items up. They said oh well and they can't do anything about it. Terrible at responding and feel like they are just hoping to go away. Saying insurance doesn't cover it, but I feel they should compensate for the issue. It's not my job to climb to the top of their truck and make sure there is no hole. Called and messaged many times. Still no response. If you use them. Be sure to check truck for holes, tires, engine etc because if anything happens to the truck that affects your items, they won't help ya out. read more

I would not recommend this moving company to anyone. The movers did not have a dolly that worked so they had to use mine. They did not bring the boxes to pack with which caused me to have to go to home depot to buy them so they could pack. They took their time and had their cigarette breaks every 45 minutes. They did not know how to pack the truck well which caused me to have to hire another truck from another company to get my garage full of belongings. I reached out to Peter the owner and he offered a discount but did not relay information to the movers therefore I had to pay full price..then Peter has avoided all my calls since. DO NOT hire this company! My husband and I booked them to move from San Bernardino to Beaumont two weeks in advance. They gave us an arrival window between 12 and 5pm. The day of the move they called to let us know they may be closer to 5 pm but would keep us updated. They did not keep us updated. 5pm came and when my husband finally got a hold of someone they said they couldn't tell him if they were going to come move us because they were busy working on moving a million dollar mansion.
