Disgrace to military members! Signed up with AT&T two years ago with the military discount which was an amazing deal! TWICE now my military discount has fallen off with no explanation. The first time they simply applied it back and credited me the money. The second time it raised my bill 150$ and when I called, they behaved as if I need to "prove" I was former military. Not only is that offensive, but now I'm jumping through a ton of hoops to get the discount back! Tried to upload my ID and it keeps saying its to big of an image I travel for work and this is inconvenient to swing into the store. So I asked them if they can credit it back until I get back in town to physically go up there and show a damn ID! They won't even do this! I wanted a new iPhone and new phone service so AT&T was recommended by three of my friends. I tried Best Buy but they did not want to help me save money just wanted to get as much from me as they could! Even promised if I came back next day earlier they could get me fixed up. They lied so I went to the AT&T store just up the road and they took excellent care of me. Took longer than expected but that was due to Consumer Cellular giving us the run around for a long time! I would have given a five but I need to go back and find out why I only have one bar when using phone inside. Have had a call dropped also. read more

Zero stars- This company is a huge headache and waste of time. Customer service if you ever need anything or somethings wrong. You will be transferred to many different depts! NOT EVEN transferred. You have to call multiple numbers to find a technician. I WOULD never get ATT for internet ever. This isn't even for a service. It's to fix the box outside of our house with wires exposed... not that hard to understand.. read more

Came in and got expert advice and patience from Chelsey and took the leap to the 12.9 iPad Pro. She held the keyboard cover for me while we waited for the device to arrive. Came into tonight rolling in hot at closing time and got nothing but warm and friendly expert service from Amanda and Nate. Great experience. Attention - when calling the store the phone rings all day long and no answer so that needs to be fixed. I made the drive not knowing if my device was in and got lucky but being able to confirm in advance would have been preferable. Great folks here! read more

Every time I've come to this particular store I've received excellent service... until now. I came in just to return a iPhone XR case. Just a return and nothing else. A 5 min tops return. I was told by the manager that I would have to be checked in and wait my turn. As I'm typing this over 35 mins have done by and I still haven't been seen. I watch the manager walk around the store for 10 min before she sat down with a customer and now the is another tech working with them. If I was buying a phone I can understand having to wait but 35 (now 40 mins) minutes but just for a return is completely unacceptable. Here's and idea AT&T... designate one person to handle 5-10 questions or returns. No person should have to wait this long for something so simple. read more

I am extremely impressed with the way this store team members/staff handled what could've been a very ugly situation. I switched from my past phone company because of way too many dropped calls, horrible reception and generally poor customer service when dealing with them over the phone. I am particularly pleased with the way the managers found solutions for me, and owned the errors made at their call center. I originally ordered my new iPhone through the AT&T customer service line. The phone wasn't delivered for mysterious reasons, so I decided to go in-store. After totally listening to my story, reiterating things, investigation my brand new account, apologizing...the manager I first spoke with suggested a better phone, same plan, at the same price I'd originally opted for. Cool! I had to wait a few days, but he did offer a loaner phone (which I declined). In my second visit, I bought my fancy new phone. No glitches, an excellent team member walked me through it all very patiently. Just over a week later, that unit just flat-out died. A third trip to the store...I was immediately helped with a can-do/we've got you attitude from the managers. Trouble shooting, then a new phone was found in-store, set up, new screen protector included, out the door I went. (It took close to 2 hours, but I expected that wait time to resolve things). This location has tons of parking, easy access, clean store, the play excellent music! Bottom line: I prefer in person transactions and customer service so I expect it to be outstanding and positive. This store's team delivers exactly that. That's a 5-star rating. Their call center and the bs I had to go through, a 2-star rating, although I do find them very courteous. read more

So very, very disappointed with this at&t! We requested to have our internet service moved and were told we had to wait 2 1/2 weeks. That wasn't acceptable for us so I called and asked to have our service with them cancelled. I was just going to go with Xfinity who had installation dates available sooner. the at&t rep then said he could get us a sooner appointment if I didnt cancel so i agreed. He scheduled our appointment for 3 days later. Now, here it is, the day they were supposed to come and they never showed up! When i just called they claimed there was technical difficulties in the area so they wouldn't be coming today and they couldn't install until 2 weeks from now, the exact same date they tried to give us before. No phone call, no email, just me waiting for 3 hours when i could've been moving. Worst service ever! read more

My phone broke and I had to come in Sunday to try and get it replaced. Zack was super helpful and clear about the whole process. When I brought the new phone in to have it ported, Zack was awesome again. The guy is very knowledgeable and friendly, and I'd definitely send anyone to this store. read more

Worst customer service i've ever seen. It takes them 2 minutes to sell you something, but I have been on hold and transferred for an hour and a half trying to get a bill credited that was wrong. Nobody knows how to do that, and all 6 of the people I spoke to tried to sell me something. Do yourself a favor, and just flush your money down the drain instead read more

Do not trust this company or the salespeople. Above all do not sign up for the direct tv, when we had issues with our uverse we went in to have it fixed and they sold us on direct tv- big mistake. They sent a very sketchy installer who sold us into a wireless unit for our living room tv because he couldn't run a wire to it, this unit was not fully installed when he left so we called his supervisor and he updated it and said it's working now. This was not true- apparently our 45 mb internet is only at 12-20 ....thanks at&t which is not enough to run the satellite (why does a satellite use internet?) And our actual wifi devices. We have called today and they are now want to charge us another install fee and won't guarantee work, also I love how you gave us 3 months movie package but its adding to our bill. Expect us to pay to cancel your services very soon. read more

Purchased the bundle pack of cel phones and dish. Explained some medical situations and was pretty much guaranteed a first service appointment by the sales rep. Even stopped in to confirm several things including the first appointment of the day because phones are never answered and it was presented as if it would not be an issue. Day of install it's now going on 11 am with no contact so obviously misled about the first service slot. I have been trying to call the store for over an hour now and they never answer the phones in the store. Horrible customer service unless you are actually doing the deal right then and there. Someone needs to answer the phones and honor commitments need to be kept. Very disappointed in what I thought would be a smooth process. read more

First of all, I'm no AT&T fan. The most frustrating telephone conversations I've ever had have been with AT&T .. reducing me to anger and angst on several occasions. Nonetheless, I swapped Verizon cellular over to my AT&T UVerse account to get a new smart phone and a data plan .. finally! The swap and activation ordeal was once again frustrating as ever. Disconnections, transfers, dead ends, and incompetence. Foreign people mumbling, rude folks, and some nitwits who have no business in a tech support role. I decided to get a new protective cover for my new Samsung Galaxy J3 .. and as I drove past the AT&T building in Summerville, I decided to go inside .. against all my instincts .. and see what they had to offer. Probably high-priced ... probably rude people ... but still I went inside anyway, just to see. Besides, I had some smart phone questions I needed answers to. Tyler greeted me as I walked in. Good start .. didn't have to flag anyone down. I was cautiously optimistic for a brief moment. Told Tyler what I needed and he took me right over to the covers. They had several, an INCIPIO case priced $30 and a gorilla glass lens-equivalent screen for $35. To my surprise, he took them out and test-fitted them for me. They didn't fit ... and so he checked his PC to find out why. Long story short: I have the 2016 model ... and these were 2017 covers. He dug a little bit more ... and after a bit of searching, he located both items for my 2016 ... priced $20 and $5 .. on sale! I was glad to see him again open it all up and test-fit them. Perfect fit! He was actually looking out for me. I had mentioned earlier that I don't like fingerprints on my screen .. and so Tyler dutifully did a thorough cleansing of my smartphone's screen .... dust specks, even! Expertly fitted the new glass better than I ever could have ... and then the case around all of that. I expected the sensitivity of the new protective touchscreen surface to be hobbled and insensitive .. but, to my surprise, I found I could still barely touch the screen and get results. I don't know how that is ... but it really IS! I had found the perfect case and protective glass for $25 ... installed to perfection! Couldn't believe it. Seriously ... I was gobsmacked by my good fortune and polite, attentive, and competent treatment ... by an AT&T Employee! He even answered my tech questions about my smart phone and gave me a test call to demonstrate that my phone is up and running just fine. This visit inspired me to take the time this evening .. to log onto Yelp and dish out a little praise to both the store and their employee Tyler. I don't know the lad nor have I ever been in the place before ... but what a pleasant surprise it was! As long as the store has people like him working there, they will prosper and retain customers. I still can't believe I just did a positive review of an AT&T facility! read more

AT&T is the worst company I've had the misfortune to work with. Starting on the day I signed up with them 7 months ago, my bill has doubled each month over the price I was told it would be. They lost the return phone my wife sent back when she received her new phone, and from then on I have been fighting to find out what was going on with my account. Multiple trips to the store and even discussing the issue with a Dist. Mgr. With no aide. I have made over twenty calls to their customer service and loyalty Dept. With no avail and nobody seems to be able to read notes on what was discussed in previous calls. With multiple case numbers put on the account with still nothing being done causing me to call again. After being sent to multiple Departments and talking with multiple Supervisors nothing has been done to fix the issues. Please take my advise and go to any other provider...even Verizon has better service than this company. Run the opposite way when thinking about using this company you will save yourself a lot of stress. I would give them a negative star as a rating. read more

I had a very complex issue which was ATT call center's fault. I went to this location for help and almost every one of the employees had a hand in helping me and were SO friendly, apologetic and helpful. It couldn't have been a more annoying situation but the wonderful staff and managers made everything tolerable. ATT may have its issues to work out, but this location is not one of them. If you have to go in, avoid Jeremy. I've dealt with Christian & Tyler (they were awesome), we learned to trust the company after over 20 yrs of using the same carrier. This day was different. We went to get a new phone, we were happy with our plan, but Jeremy said how much we would save if we switched to a business acct. This was a nightmare, he put us on unlimited, yet charged us for each text msg., minutes used, put every single extra thing he could on our bill. Extra data even on unlimited, our bill went from $315 to $900 that month. It was a nightmare trying to get it fixed. I spent weeks, hours each day on the phone, went into the store several times and was called a liar by the manager when I told him what an AT&T rep said over the phone. Then another day even another manager said she didn't understand why I was being charged for extra data and text msgs while on an unlimited plan. I lost my old plan. I'm stuck with a lousy more expensive plan now. I never got all the credits. Even though I told Jeremy which phones I wanted insurance on, he deliberately put insurance on everything, old tablets not worth anything, an old flip phone we've had for 10 years (really need insurance on that!). He put the tablets on higher priced plans when I specifically asked for the $10 plan. Every extra thing he could add, was added to my bill. I don't know if they get commission for the more things they add, but he put a significant hurting on my family money wise and time wise. When confronted he just acted like he didn't care and had to help someone else. He knew what a mess he made. How would he like his family to have an unexpected almost $700 increase in one month for nothing? read more

A door to door sales rep came to my house promoting Att internet. Stating they just upgraded the services in our area and that it was free to try for 30 days if I didn't like it then no harm no charges just cancel within 30 days and if I liked it I would be billed after the 30 days. I explained I had Spectrum and was happy but would try because it was free. Well this was in May and I'm still disputing a bill for installation of about $110 which I was told was going to be waived by the rep who came to my house due to the promotion. I have spoken to countless reps who say it will be taken care of and yet I still receive calls stating that the account was not paid for. They say their calls are monitored and recorded yet no one knows who I spoke to before or what happened. I'm still disputing the bill and an investigation has been launched but needless to say...do not sign up with ATT they apologize but basically say even though we made a mistake you still have to pay because we don't know what we are doing! All my cell services are with Verizon and while I did have problems every month in the beginning they always copped up to their mistakes and credited my account within the same month. Unlike ATT who doesn't know what's going. Take your money elsewhere!!! My internet is with Spectrum and so far they have been wonderful both in Tech Service and Customer Service. read more
