I entered the store and asked for a torch for a dab rig; the Vector VMotion was presented as one of…read morethe options. I chose it based on its small form factor. The VMotion is clearly not a torch designed to support a 30 second burn to heat a quartz nail; it's a lighter designed to quickly ignite loose leaf products. I did two sessions with my rig yesterday and, after a balky start, the unit I purchased functioned but burned through its entire fuel reservoir in the 60 seconds I had it running. I tried the unit again tonight and now it won't even spark into a consistent flame. It's pretty much dead; I've literally had it running for less than 5 total minutes of continuous ignition. I won't hold the retailer accountable for a product it didn't manufacture. I will, however, hold Purple Haze up as not reputable for its staff failing to advise me against a purchase.

If your looking for a chill place check out the Zen Place On Rivers! Ok back to my review of purple…read moreover prices Haze! The employees that work for Purple Haze at almost all of there storms are rude and un-knowledgeable when it comes to pips and water pieces. The prices are crazy expensive you can find the same thing online for half what they want. Most of the time when you come in to there shop in a good mood you leave in a bad one. If you want to take a picture of something you might buy they yell and tell you no picture allowed. I don't know why it's not like we're in the tittie bar, there not selling drugs there selling glass and plastics over priced garbage. Check out The Zen Place Y'all On Rivers Ave.

Highly recommend. The iced French toast latte was also very good. Service was fine. There is onsite parking available, restrooms were fairly clean.

Met up with my friends this morning to have breakfast at Toast in Mt Pleasant…read more Our server: Lori , wasn't a very pleasant person. She seemed upset and angry during our entire visit this morning. She made angry faces at customers. She talked under her breath about customers that she seemed to not like. 100% of the time we overheard her greeting customers; she would say things like, " we are understaffed. I can't get to your right now, I'm too busy. We overheard her telling people: give me 5 minutes... ( News Flash )... Waiting for service in a restaurant for 5 minutes seems like an hour). The atmosphere of this restaurant is terrible having to be treated so poorly by Lori. AND... I was very specific about how I wanted my meal, and Lori placed my order wrong. But she doesn't know that, because she never once asked us how our food was. She is an Angry Order Taker. Why would a restaurant hire someone that has ZERO Hospitality in her blood. Toast is a really good restaurant, but when the server treats people like this: something is not right. There is absolutely no way that management doesn't know about this woman's attitude towards guests and coworkers. It really felt as if Lori was going out of her way to show that she hates her job... Me and my friends will very likely return here to Toast. But we will request that Lori stay away!!! The Hospitality business has been struggling for years attracting quality employees, but if Lori is the best that you can hire; then do our community a service and close your doors. It cost a lot to eat out these days, and to be treated with disrespect by a server doesn't help the industry. Lori destroyed our dining experience today...

For food, I tried the fried catfish entree and Green apple-cauliflower soup. Both dishes were good. The fish was very tender and juicy. The butter bean succutash, which I never had before, contained butter beans, black eyed peas, corns, green and red peppers and red onions. It was delicious but since beans are of high FODMAP, I only had a little. The fish was topped with tomato jam made with crushed tomatoes, onions and sugar. It was served chilled. Paired well with the fish and succutash. The soup was creamy, silky, and full of flavor from cauliflower. The pistachio added some crunchiness to it. The taste of "green apple" was not obvious; in fact I was expecting there to be some apple slices, which could add extra texture and sourness to this rich soup. I also asked for a side of sourdough. A bit too salty for me. The service was kinda slow, except that food came out in reasonable amoutn of time **after I placed the order**, that is, I waited quite a while to order my food. The same for doing the check. I guess it was because there were not many staff at lunchtime, and most of them were senior thus could move as fast as young ppl.

Beautiful space and a really enjoyable meal overall…read more We started with the biscuit -- perfectly baked, fluffy inside with just the right crisp on the outside, and the cheese + pepper jelly combination was spot on. The Mushrooms + Bucatini was the standout for me: the sauce was balanced and not too heavy, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The Rigatoni + Pork Sugo had a bold, rich flavor, though I still preferred the bucatini. For cocktails, I tried Porchlight's Glow -- solid and pleasant, though not particularly memorable. Dessert absolutely delivered: the apple hand pies were a real treat, beautifully baked with light, flavorful whipped cream that finished everything off just right. Service was on the slower side, but when our server was at the table, they were attentive and meticulous, which we appreciated. Definitely worth a visit.

I came to Lowland Tavern after a Spoleto Festival performance with friends. The overall location…read morewas a convenient 6 minutes walking distance from the Gaillard Center. Upon entering, the restaurant was VERY dimly lit with a tavern-like aesthetic. We started with drinks: a hugo spritz and a campari spritz. Both were good! Unfortunately, things kind of went downhill a bit after that--not because of the food, but mainly for the service. Our waitress seemed annoyed with our party from the get-go. To be fair, some of our friends did arrive about 25 minutes later than expected (from another Spoleto event), but we were very up front about their delay upon arriving to the restaurant. Beyond that, our waitress just never smiled and always gave us looks that just made us feel like a burden. The menu is also poorly organized. Appetizers are not separated from mains--which is annoying when you're deciding what you want (thinking it's a main when it's not). For appetizers, we ultimately ordered the lowland biscuit, the celery salad, and the yellowfun tuna + snapper crudo. All were very tasty and well made! The celery salad is so refreshing! But that biscuit is absolutely delicious! We loved all of them! For my main, I split a tavern burger with my sister. Also very good and very cheesy! Our friends ordered drinks and the butterscotch desert. We all enjoyed the food, just wish the menu was better delineated and the service was better. For my campari spritz, and splitting the appetizers/main, I paid $91.60 with tax and tip. Given that Charleston has so many amazing restaurants, I'm not sure my first choice would be to return here purely due to the aforementioned. I'm giving them 4/5 stars purely for the food.
