I went into this store to trade my phone I had it for a while but I wouldn't have bought one knowing my trade in value was 7 dollars not the 800 dollars both the manager and sales staff told me it was worth. Absolutely abominable service. Went in to upgrade a phone. Was told there were none in stock. Would take 1-2 weeks to come in if I ordered. When I said I'd look elsewhere, the delivery timeframe became 3-4 days. When I said I needed the phone today so would go to another location, amazingly a phone appeared. They offered me $800 for a trade in, then $350, then $700, then $350, and it ultimately came in at $80. 100 minutes of my life I'll never get back. An absolute racket and I'll be calling the Better Business Bureau. read more

This corporate AT&T store is the best experience I have ever had in any other location. The representatives are so helpful and patient. I had a small problem and immediately they found a way to fix it, they went above and beyond. I will definitely be doing all my business with this store, I feel welcomed, understood and it's not only people selling, it feels more like a family. I understand you are all on commission and are thus motivated to try to make the best deal for yourselves by up-selling. I'm totally OK with that. It's how sales is done. But when I politely refuse what you're offering THREE TIMES... and tell you very clearly what it is that I want and you STILL don't take the hint and try to get me to buy the leather-back model which is a "GREAT deal". . . This review is for the At&T store in the Square One Mall (near Macy's) in Saugus. I couldn't find that store on yelp so I'm writing here. I'm an AT&T customer for 7+ years and owner of every iPhone since the beginning. I've had the runaround at the non-corporate stores so I asked specifically if this was a corporate store as soon as I went in. I was told it was (but perhaps it's not). I was simply looking to see the iPhone 6 (I have the 6 plus, but wanted to compare to a 6 for my wife). The sales associate repeatedly ignored our wishes and tried to sell us on an installment plan instead of what I have currently. I had to say loudly several times in front of the other employees at the store (it was empty, no surprise there), that I didn't want to change my subscription at all. I repeated this literally 4 or 5 times, loudly, until finally she walked away into the back of the store. I stood there wondering what was next for about 30 seconds, realized I had walked into a little corner of hell while the other employees glared like we were the ones in the wrong, and left. Certainly I'll never be back to that location, but this folks, is how you lose customers. Dear goodness, it truly is. read more

After weeks of struggling with phone issues through other providers, I decided to switch to AT&T. The activation process didn't go as smoothly as I had hoped and Lionel S. was able to finally get things settled for me! He was patient, kind, and attentive. Even when I returned to the store with additional questions, he was always knowledgable and willing to help. Brian S. was amazing. He is super knowledgable, informative, honest, patient, and attentive. He took time to answer all of my questions and knew a ton of information. He offered tips on various phone-related topics and was incredibly helpful. I brought a phone in to recycle and he was able to factory reset the phone and get it placed for proper recycling, which I am grateful for. Both Lionel and Brian were absolutely fantastic and deserve recognition for their incrdible customer service. read more

My bill is $150/mo just for myself, not including any overage charges (which ranked my bill to over $220 this month) because my phone refuses to connect to any internet connection, and when it does, it literally doesn't load anything on my apps or browser! read more

I met with representatives from this store at an event held by my company and they were pleasant and informative. We unfortunately ran out of time and had to continue the discussion at another time. For 3 months I have called each representative and called the Saugus store location and my calls have never been returned. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service in this location. 3 months without a return phone call is beyond unacceptable- do all you can to avoid this store. read more

Let me start by saying Brian is absolutely amazing!!! I don't write reviews at all but this has to be known! My phone broke just as I moved home from Colorado, between Amazon and groupon I just couldn't get it together! I went to Brian and he was able to switch my go phone to a contract phone and threw in an I pad for 99cents( plus tax) he help me set my phone up and link my new I pad to the phone!(my tablet was on the verge of dying and needed a new tablet anyways) I almost cried in the store and wanted to hug him. He absolutely made my two weeks of frustration go away in 15 min!! Thank you Brian!! ( while Brian was setting me up his co-worker, sorry I can't remember his name, put a screen saver thing and cover on my phone) amazing service!! read more

My review is for Alejandro. I came in so upset with my supposed upgrade and the AT&T rep I spoke with on the phone. He sat with me for almost 2 hours trying to get customer service to work with what my situation was. He was extremely professional and friendly and I didn't feel pressured once to buy things I didn't want. I left extremely pleased and much happier then when entering. I would definitely recommend friends to go see him. Dealing with AT&T customer service via phone is another story. read more

I've been a customer with AT&T for almost 20 years now!!!! Last week I went to AT&T an store in Square One Mall, Saugus to get a new plan for my business. They told me they don't offer that plan so he put me on prepaid plan.  I agreed, and bought the plan, but after I was done in Saugus I went to another location in Malden, because they are the one who originally told me I can have this plan. In Malden I got the plan I was looking for, that Saugus told me they don't offer, and this is the same company?? Later on I went back to Square One Mall to cancel the pre paid plan that they put me on. At first I had to wait a very long time before it was my turn and make an extensive explanation of my issue to the sales person. He told me he had to check with his manager. After 45 minutes I'm still waiting for his response. So I check with the sales person to see what's going on, he goes in the back to check with the manager and comes back telling me he is still checking on it. After another 45 min I'm still waiting for the manager to come out and again tells the sales person that I'm still waiting. He goes in the back again and I finally get to talk to the manager after another 30 minutes waiting. I have now been here waiting for two hours. The manager comes and he ask me  "What he can help me with?" So I had to explain to him all over again my issue with the plans. He told me "it's nothing we can do it's not our fault". I told him " you keep me here for two hours to come out and tell me it's nothing what I can do" that's what you call customer service !! Now he started being rude in front of my family and other customers as well. Then he started to threaten me that he's gonna call the security. I told him Please do and that's so embarrassing to have a manager talk like that to a customer, as I mentioned that I've been with AT&T, me and my family for almost 20 years and I never been treated this way by a customer service representative or a manager before.Now I know why you only have 1- star reviews on this location. read more

Everything was going perfect until I saw this kid come in today and simply ask if they were hiring. This guy who was holding the tablet and setting people up with Sales Associates told him that there were ATT's hiring around and the kid said thank you and walked away. Then this guy (I wish I got his name, but he was very femminine), yelled back to the kid, grabbing everyone's attention and said, "NEXT TIME YOU GO AROUND LOOKING FOR A JOB, WEAR A SHIRT AND TIE!!!" I was stunned at what happened and everyone started laughing. I do not recommend going to a store where the employees make fun of other people. It's never fun having to deal with problems with your wireless phone. I had upgraded my cell phone and received a phone that was malfunctioning out of the box. In an effort to avoid having to go through the rigamarole of dealing with exchanging the phone over the internet, I wen tout of desperation to the AT&T Store at the Square One Mall, hoping they could help. I encountered Greg, possibly the best customer service person I've ever met in my life. The phone I was having problems with is apparently an older model, which means they no longer carry them in the store. Greg didn't let that deter him from helping me though. He grabbed my phone, added an App Killer for me, to help stop the phone from freezing up. I asked him if they had any accessories for this model phone and there were none on the floor. He then proceeded to go in the back room to find what there might be back there. He was able to find me some screen covers, which cost a whopping $5. It's now clear to this gentleman that the sale was going to be very minimal. But he still took the time to help my mom fix a couple of small problems with her phone too. Then he offered to apply the screen guard for me, since it's sort of a pain in the butt. He joked with us as he put the sale through the computer, but not before checking our current rate plan to ensure that we were currently taking advantage of all the discounts we were eligible for. I swear, he must have thought I was some kind of Secret Shopper, the service just blew me away. I wish I could always find people like this to help me in retail settings, it was truly a pleasant experience. read more

This store exemplifies why AT&T is one of the most hated companies in America. The employees ignore customers, give misinformation, are generally obnoxious, and refuse to stand behind what they sell. I bought an expensive glass screen protector from them for my iPhone6+, and after barely 2 weeks of very gentle use (never dropped, not bent, always in a rigid protective case) it cracked. I took it back to them and they refused to do anything about it. When I tried to discuss this with them, they told me to leave the store or they'd call mall security. DO NOT USE 'The Wireless Experience' store in Saugus or any 'Wireless Experience' AT&T retailer (the main corporation is based in NJ but they have locations throughout NE. The Wireless Experience is an AT&T retailer located at 124 Broadway, Saugus. At the time we went to the store we were decade-plus AT&T customers simply purchasing a 4th phone. Salesperson told us switching to a new plan would actually be cheaper than what we were paying. Gave us no documents showing or explaining the new plan, just a receipt for the newly purchased phone. A few weeks later we received our bill and the monthly charges went from $130 to $290 per month. To add one phone. Seems salesperson forgot to mention an ADDITIONAL $120 data plan charge per month. Called AT&T and it took me like 7 phones calls, 3 managers and 5 hours of my precious time to reverse this BS and tell AT&T to screw. (AT&T customer service manager after manager insisted we signed up for the new plan but could not send me one single document with our signature from The Wireless Experience, who will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to buy a phone/sign up/change plans.) The Wireless Experience is totally shady. read more

Avoid this store like the plague! Went in when my phone just totally died .Waited about 45 minutes and I was told, " I cant help you, 'Im not a technician. Every question I asked, I got- "Im not a technician"i finally gave up and called tech support, and they said that since I had insurance on the phone I could get a replacement phone in the mail which would mean no phone for a few days which would be a pain in the neck so I decided to give the Apple store a try. I wasn't in there for 30 seconds when the guy who greeted me pressed 2 buttons at the same time and the phone came right back on! Later I mentioned this to 2 people at work and they knew about this procedure, its happened to them before. I tried calling the at&t store back 5 times that night and 3 times the next day but they never picked up.If you're not there to buy a phone they have zero intrest in helping you! I was watching the salesmen for the 45 minutes I was waitng,and the salesmens attitudes sucked and 2 of the 3 guys had zero product knowledge .Dont waste your time at this store! read more
