I mentioned this to him, his response was that "he hadn't seen the Face ID work before working on the phone" which meant "he couldn't do anything for me" I mentioned to him that I myself had experience handling electronics (IPhone 7s, IPhone XR) all of which I replaced screens for me and friends 2x, I suggested to him had he turned off the phone before replacing the screen? His response " I took the screen off then unplugged the battery" this answered my question for why the Face ID on my phone which was now no longer working. Prior to walking into this establishment my Face ID was indeed working, I've attached screen shots. Do not do business with this company I am certain they were trying to run a quick cash scam on me no doubt! They do not know what they are doing

Turns out, although this looks like a T-Mobil store it is not run or staffed by T-Mobil. It;s like one of these kisosks in some malls -- it is run by a different company under contract to T-Mobil. (THis makes lpots of money fpor T-Mobil, but the services is not the quality you thought you were paying for.) My advice -- Stay away.

I thought everything was handled, but the delivery day was a disaster. The installer--a third-party contractor, not a Best Buy employee--demanded an extra $500 on top of what I had already paid. When I refused to pay for something already covered in my contract, they refused to do the job. I contacted Best Buy Customer Support, but they sided with the plumber, claiming there was nothing they could do. I eventually refused the entire delivery, only to be told a refund could take up to 10 days. Best Buy failed to honor their agreement and allowed a contractor to exploit the situation. I will never buy so much as a roll of tape from them again. Avoid their appliance delivery and installation services at all costs.
