5 Stars! Called last minute, after my husband shattered his phone, I was in and having my phone repaired right in front of me, and within a few seconds! Took 15 minutes! Also, a LOT cheaper! Since I shattered my LCD and screen it was only $100 with tax, compaired to apples $150, and other stores $130-$140! Ended up getting tempered glass for my phone, and a new adorable case!

Good selection of phone cases at Accessory Depot!

He was a bit tricky to track down, but once we connected, Joel St. Jean (their service manager and the gent who ultimately repaired out TV) was a real pleasure to work with. He not only correctly diagnosed the source and nature of our problem, but found and fixed 2 others we didn't know were there. He patiently explained what he was doing at all times, and exhibited a degree of patience and thoroughness rarely seen these days.= The prevailing attitude is that TVs and the like are disposable, but this isn't always the case. If your TV goes on the fritz and replacing it means hundreds of dollars you don't have, give these guys a shot, we're very glad we did.

If only I could give 0 stars…read more I can't comment on certain things, such as, whether they actually did a good job fixing my receiver, or whether the price was ok, because it's been more than three months and they still haven't done it. Two months ago, I was told that they needed a part, and had ordered it. Today, I was told that he "had been away for two weeks and lost track of the things" he had been working on, and he'll call me back tomorrow. What is worth .25 stars I guess is that they did give us a loaner receiver, about a month into this process, so at least we can listen to CDs and the radio (FM only, b/c my AM antenna isn't compatible with the loaner) and watch DVDs. I like to patronize local businesses, but only when they like the patronage. In this case, their indifference is staggering.

The process was super easy; complete the form by selecting the repair option (more on that to come), what device you have, what is wrong with it, your contact information, and how you'd like to be contacted. The repair options are to either visit the store or a come-to-you service which is unique, convenient, and a great option that sets them apart from other companies. And the at your door service does not have any hidden or extra fees! They are very responsive and quick to get in touch once you submit the form. I reached out during business hours and got a response immediately! I really liked that they asked how to contact - via call, text, or email. I needed my iPad, 9th gen fixed. It was quoted at $119 (+tax). I opted for the come to you service. It said online they have a van and do the repairs that way, however they reached out to see if I was okay with a pick up/drop off instead. That made no difference to me. They were very communicative throughout the process. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and I was able to have them complete repairs the next day! They did a great job with the repair - it looks brand new and you can't tell that there was an accident in the first place! They also asked if I wanted to add a screen protector which I appreciated as I would prefer not to break my screen again. They charged $20 for the protector and application, which I thought was reasonable and worth it for me not to have to mess with putting it on myself. Since I had a case already, I did not need one but they sell cases and accessories too. I highly recommend checking out Fix 'N Repair if you are in Wakefield or surrounding towns. Again, it was super quick and easy, great service, and a job well done!!

I have mostly been happy with the final products, which really isn't a reflection of Beach Sales per se (but rather, Electrolux, Kitchenaid, etc.). I had one somewhat negative experience after a delivery person dropped stove pieces outside of my home and tried to deliver without comment (I witnessed). It took an unnecessary amount of discussion with folks back at the store to come up with a repair plan. But ultimately they helped to re-send replacement cast iron parts for what had been dropped and damaged. Most recently, I have grown very frustrated with trying to access the 50% rebate on an unused five-year warranty. I feel that I was misled. It's come to my attention that the "50% back" is actually just for Beach Sales purchases, and it's not a refund check as it had seemed. Not only that, there are many many hoops to jump through. Even after jumping through all the hoops and gathering all the old documents from five years ago AND following the guidelines, I am still waiting six months later with no rebate. No coupon nor check. While the extra five-year warranty sounds like a good idea, don't count on the 50% back rebate. And be sure to ask questions.

Switch…read more They quoted one price over the phone for an alarm system plus installation, and waited until my car (whose make/model/year they already knew) was in their hands to tell me it would actually cost another $150. Theoretically it could have been an honest mistake, except that the guy who called to inform me of the price change never once tried to apologize, and in fact got very nasty with me for daring to have follow-up questions. Direct quote: "You're making a big deal out of nothing!" Okay, if $150 is nothing to you, why are you trying so hard to browbeat it out of me? I told him "It's not nothing to ME." His rejoinder: "Yes it is!" Customer service as delivered by the second-grade playground bully. Super. I wasn't fishing for a discount, and would have paid the higher price -- in fact now I'll be paying slightly more than he wanted, but for a better product from a place that treated me with respect -- but I WAS expecting some acknowledgment that it is not nice to tell someone one price over the phone and then charge a higher one later on. Mistakes are unavoidable; yelling is not. On that subject, interrupting the customer to shout "IT'S A GOOD PRICE!" again and again in a louder and louder voice does not make it true. That little customer service tip, you can have for free! Bonus round: When I mentioned Castillo's at a different electronics place, the guy working there winced and said their shop gets a lot of work undoing Castillo's shoddy installations. Obviously I don't have firsthand experience with the quality of Castillo's work, but that doesn't strike me as a positive sign, y'know? So take your pick -- illegal bait-and-switch tactics or garden-variety incompetence? Either way, these are not people I want working on my car.
