The day I switched mobile service Internet and cable to this crappy company was a mistake. Only took a week to cancel the Cable, when I spoke with direct tv they informed me Direct TV cut off business with AT&T due to their poor business procedure. I cancel the AT&T internet in two weeks, they talked me into giving it a chance and now cancelling is a termination fee, the service doesn't work and ow the greedy crappy pieces of trash want $250 to get it out of my house, all due to listening to their BS and keeping the service that I knew better. The mobil service is probably the worst cell company around, no service in the middle of town or just outside city limits. save the headache and avoid AT&T for all service, they will mislead you 100% to get a signature and lock you in. read more

First off the service is terrible when trying to make calls. I have a 5G network that doesn't do the job. My phone was stolen and I paid the phone completely off. They will unlock the sim for 60 days after I purchased a new phone. Don't use AT&T go to a carrier that cares and doesn't tie you down to sticking with them!!! The young lady gave me the tech-support line to call. But of course not open on Saturdays. They're only open Monday through Friday 8 AM to I think I believe 6 PM. So no help there do not go to the store. Terrible service. read more

Everyone was super helpful yesterday and today. Making changes to our phone plan and phones is never my favorite thing to do. All of the people I dealt with were nice, helpful and efficient. This Redding ATT store is a joke. Everything takes 2 hours. The Att rep charged my credit card 3 times however the ATT rep (at a different store) that helped fix my problem has no idea what the charge was for. The Redding ATT rep opened a hotspot business account but didn't actually order anything, just set up the account. I waited 2 months to find out this news. I even had another rep from the Redding ATT store look into make sure things were ok, and was told, all is fine, just keep waiting for the hardware. I finally reached via email link that came with the confirmation hotspot email, to ask for help this week and got email banter questions asking for bits and pieces of more and more information, because they could not seem to find my information. These questions usually had a 8 hour lapse in between each question, which felt like it would be 2 weeks before I got answers. I will never be back to this store again. ATT should really pay attention to the Reps, representing them at this particular store. This will eventually cost them business. If I hadn't already taken advantage of my upgrades and committed to ATT again, I would be gone after 20+ years of loyalty. read more

We went in for my girlfriends phone not properly working/charging, the lady who was tasked to help us did so reluctantly. With her RBF, she uses canned air to "blow the charging port" free of whatever debris she claims was the problem. Unfortunately, she held it at an awkward angle (the can) and it blasted condensed CO2 into the port. The screen then shows "Water damage" immediately after she does this. She then says, "oh you have water damage, you're gonna need to call and have insurance take care of it." I said that it never indicated that until she improperly held the canned air and blasted the port, to which she said, "the air doesn't work like that." No point in arguing with a moron who realized she fucked up and was trying to back track. I managed a chain of cellphone stores for years, and repaired quite a few smartphones. We bought a wireless charger and left. I wish i knew her name, because she was clearly incompetent. It was on jine 14th in the morning. read more

The customer service was most excellent. In spite of the fact that it was very busy with many other customers, the manager noticed that I was wandering around (clueless!) and asked whether I wanted to check in. I did and after only a few minutes there was an associate to help me out. The associate was super helpful but not at all pushy. Although I was only buying an inexpensive prepaid phone, he took the time to set it up for me and transfer over my old number/balance. Service was quick and prompt but never rushed. Switching to my new phone was totally painless. I am very happy! read more

Horrible customer service. Rep brought the wrong phone out of the back. After I gave the phone as a gift I realized I had the wrong one, went to return it (unopened) and they told me I had to pay a $45 restocking fee. They were the ones who selected the wrong product. Went in there the other day to get a phone for my wife. I was a little hesitant, because the last time I got a phone (at Verizon Anderson), it took 3 HOURS. Little did I know, Dawn doesn't take three hours, she took about 45 minutes and that's because we kept heaping on requests and items. This was my second time having problems at this store. There won't be a third. On Friday I purchased a screen protector that Bryan at the AT&T installed on my IPhone. As a result of Bryan at the store incorrectly installing the cover it began to crack. On Monday I attempted to return the protector and Romy the store manager refused to return the item advising me I had to go through the manufacturer. The manufacturer takes 10 days and charged me shipping for what the store damaged. The store manager Romy stating AT&T policies seemed to have very little care for the customer. My opinion is to avoid this store at all costs. Go to Best Buy. read more

Was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly greeting. Then was waiting maybe 5 minutes. I was helped quickly and she was very helpful. Took a long time to transfer the number but that wasn't her fault. Had to get a second phone cause my Trac phone wouldn't transfer over. Second lady helped find a good phone for my husband that was a great price. Ended up taking 2 1/2 hours cause of the number transfers and messing with the Trac phone but was still a great experience thanks to the staff. read more

It was not busy in the store, but the employee that handled my mobile phone problem was unhelpful. As a person that works in customer service I did not find it satisfactory that I was told to "oh go online" to solve my phone issues. I understand AT&T does not handle mobile phone problems any longer but goes through a third party, but it seems ridiculous that I would be turned away to not even be able to file a claim within the provider's store. What happened to going the extra mile for the customer and providing service? He was lazy and did not seem to care that I was in need of assistance. My husband's and my experience at the AT&T store on Browning could not have been better. The sales consultant was Bryan Lawson and the first time we went in he was calm, patient and knowledgable. He spent nearly an hour with us. A week later we came back and purchased 2 iPhones and signed up for DirectNow. He remembered every detail we had discussed the week before and remained calm and patient. We were 100% satisfied and highly recommend him if you're going to this AT&T store. read more

So I went into this stores location to pay my home phone bill, I was helped by a Customer service rep. I gave him all the info need to pay my bill. I explained that for some reason the residential bill comes up under my cell phone number not the residence number. he checked and verified I was correct. then he said he pulled up the residence phone bill. I paid it and left the store. Now three weeks later a got a call from Att that my residence phone bill is late. I checked the account and it doesn't show the moneys going into the home phone but it shows me paying two cell phone payments. one being on the 3rd of the month when I went into this location. I called to straighten this out and got major run around. so I tried to call the store and talk to the manager but no one ever picks up. I don't want to go into the store and make a scene. go I guest this is the best way to deal with it. check you payment receipts folks before you leave this store. they got me once and it will never happen again. read more

I went into the office to drop a line off of my service. They dropped the line but "forgot" to adjust my rate plan. So I was paying $128/mo for one line. This wasn't even an unlimited line either. I cancelled and got net10($45/mo, unlimited). The funny part was when they were asking why I was cancelling, I told them net10 was $45. They said they would be willing to drop my plan to $54/mo. WOW! How dumb can you get? That's the phone part, the DSL part is equally crazy; I was paying $48/mo for a 3mbit DSL connection. I switched to a 30mbit cable connection with charter for $39.99/mo. That's 10x the speed for $8 less a month. I am finally free of this demon. read more

I have had AT&T since cell phones began. They were Pacific Bell then Cingular. In the last few years service (phone & data) have gotten progressively worse. I use their stupid "Marks the Spot" and it seems to make matters worse. With technology improvements and the grant that AT&T received to improve service it is sure not getting any better. What is going on? Do they not care that primary cell phone service is not often available, drops calls, etc. Internet hot spot is pretty iffy too. I purchase my phones from NorCal AT& T service but this is not their fault. AT&T is not keeping up their end of improving customer satisfaction or service!!!!!! read more

Wow, I don't know why I bothered coming here AGAIN, this store is as terrible as always. I guess I am partially to blame, as this is my second bad experience at this store. I came in ready to buy a new iPhone, but thanks to the order screw up by the store, I was stuck having to spend my afternoon contacting ATT directly trying to fix their mistake! At least the ATT reps are pleasant to deal with. This store, definitely not. Rebecca at the front counter must be new, as she clearly doesn't understand customer service or display much knowledge of att plans. That aside, she isn't going to improve because the manager's communication skills are just as poor! No willingness to own up to their mistakes or even attempt to improve. What a waste of time. If you are just starting out and need to spend money in there, go for it, they'll treat you like royalty. Show back up with a problem with your device or your billing, and they will treat you like a peon. When you are buying new product from them, they're gung-ho to sell you Assurion Insurance and highly promote it. Once you need it, they wash their hands. Oh, it's an insurance thing......not our problem. The manager actually patted his chest and said "your problem lies with them, not us". Same for billing issues if you try to get assistance understanding their new "unified billing". The same manager will tell you "trust me, it's fine, just takes about four months to work itself out, that's why we hate the unified billing", and won't even look at your printed statements as he's saying this to you. Apparently, they are only customer service oriented if it's make them money, not work. If it wasn't for the major inconvenience of being with the same numbers on 4 phones (and service for 22 years), I would quit them in a heartbeat and go to Verizon. read more
