The iPhone screen replacement wax extremely quick 15 minutes both times and the price was much lower than what I was quoted at the apple store; however the screen is generic and it will differ a little but the phone will be functional. Both times the wife of the owner was so nice and gave me a free screen protector. The laptop hinge issue fix was ok but the time was extremely long as the owner was ordering parts and there was a wait. I think more communication would have gone a long way. All in all I would recommend V fix for a quick iPhone fix.

I thought I could just clean the screen as there are smudges all over the screen. At home I cleaned the screen - still no response. I have up and left for work when suddenly my screen started scrolling. I couldn't stop it. This went on for 5 minutes. Afterwards, I tried to make a call. Fifteen attempts later, it still wouldn't go through. In the afternoon, the next day, I went back. I was told that I CHOSE the faulty screen. I told him he did not give me and option or explain that different screens. He told me he would call me back Monday about the [now]no good phone. It is Wednesday and no call. To make a long story short, the refurbished iPhone 12 that Asurion sent me on 5.13.2025 was defective, and although it took 3 trips to AT&T Skokie and another replacement being sent overnight to me by Asurion, AT&T Skokie helped me throughout the entire process, and by Friday 5.30.2025, I had a working iPhone again. (the 3 trips were in no way the fault of AT&T Skokie, it was due to the defective refurbished iPhone 12 that Asurion sent me on 5.13.2025) I want to give a shout-out and appreciation to both Gerardo and Byron. They were pleasant and professional and we exchanged a bit of humor over the phone and in person. Unfortunately, just two weeks later, a noticeable black blob appeared on the new screen near the Dynamic Island. This looks like OLED screen bleed or a defect. The phone has remained in a case with a screen protector the entire time and has not been dropped, bumped, or otherwise mishandled. Given the timing (only 2 weeks after installation) and the specific location of the spot, this issue is almost certainly the result of either a defective replacement screen or a problem during installation (such as trapped dust, adhesive, or pressure damage). It is not consistent with normal use or accidental damage. I offered to bring the phone in so they could inspect it in person, but they declined and immediately dismissed the warranty claim without examination. While I understand repairs aren't perfect, I'm disappointed they are unwilling to stand behind their work and honor the warranty on what is clearly a post-repair defect. I went from a satisfied customer who would have returned and recommended them to someone who can no longer do so. Potential customers should be aware that warranty support may not be reliable here. EDIT: Contrary to the response below the phone was never physically inspected. Rather, the response was based on a set of photos sent showing the issue which, alone, would be virtually impossible to come to a conclusion of physical damage versus defective product. As a customer, you are in a no win situation here as no matter what happens they are going to blame you and not the manufacturer or installation for the problem.
