He handled everything professionally and figured out the relevant plans to be applied in order to win the customer experience. I was on the phone for almost 2 hours though. It is now slower than it ever has been, freezes up all the time. Can't even sit through a 22 minute TV show without lagging or stopping. This is pathetic and unacceptable in the year 2026. If you can, look elsewhere and use anyone else but Astound! We sent them another email and phone call to get ahold of someone to come back to our house to fix yet another problem they made happen. So far, no such luck. They're value is nothing and they are most incompetent. So again they may seem good, but they're awful. They don't have any places located near us and have to come from far away, so I imagine their tech guys are very limited to when they can come. Another example of why big companies shouldn't be able to buy up the little ones like WOW, which was actually a good cable company that we had no problems at all with. Like every other company, there customer service seems to be a thing of the past. We will be switching to a different company as soon as possible and never looking back. Fuck Astound.

Well the fact is that this person was able to get through a Mother buying her daughter her first phone, then he dealt with a couple that he was trying to save money for but they said they absolutely "needed" the iPhone 16 Pro when they both had iPhone 15 pros. I love the fact that he said to them "you will be paying for your old phones while paying for your new phones" and he didn't seem at all like he was thinking what I was - which was "why? and what world are you in that you need the latest iPhone at all times"- but alas I am a curmudgeon when it comes to waste somewhat so that is my problem and the way he treated everyone was excellent! He didn't make them feel stupid for wanting the latest tech and he wasn't pushy - as a matter of fact the only thing he mentioned was that he just wanted to make sure they were aware that they would be raising their bill by X amount a month. Then it was my turn and he apologized profusely for having me wait - which I had expected - any time you go into a cell phone store I expect at least a 30 - 60 min wait time (unless it is a genius bar appointment - at which time you will wait over 11/2 hours (at least the one in old orchard)- and this is when I had an appointment lol. So yes go to this Verizon above all if you want to get a good deal and a sales associate who will get you it - you have found the right place.

However some things to note:…read more-The internet can be knocked out during bad weather (snow storms, thunderstorms, etc) since it is delivered wirelessly to the building (at least in my building's case). -Reliability when weather isn't a factor is incredibly high in my experience compared to other ISPs. -Speed is awesome. My building is supported for 100mbps, but I usually get around 200-300mbps download speeds, and at least 200mbps upload speed at all times. Sometimes my upload or download will peak around 500mbps. -Their support staff really knows their stuff. It's not like calling another ISP's support where you get tier1 support who asks you do to the basic troubleshooting. The support staff you get when you first call is likely the person who will truly be able to fix your issue. I work in IT, and absolutely appreciate this. THAT SAID, their hold times when calling for support are usually pretty terrible. I've been on hold before (including last night) for 1+ hours and then the call gets disconnected for whatever reason. Their email/online support is pretty lackluster. No way of updating or creating tickets online short of emailing them. In my current case, I've emailed them in response to a ticket and they seem to ignore the email altogether. I'm now trying to call them to get the issue resolved. Overall, I'd give them an A- as a grade. If they could up their support, it'd be the best ISP out there.

In all that time, the Internet rarely has gone out…read more Maybe once or twice a year tops -- they always send a text to my cell telling me it's out and they're working on it -- sometimes even before I realize it. The pricing is very reasonable, and hasn't changed in the last four years -- which given inflation is remarkable. When the internet went out on Friday, I was out of town for the weekend. When I got back on Sunday, my internet was still down. Alex came over Sunday night after carving pumpkins with his kids. He diagnosed that there must have been a power surge that took 6 or 7 units offline on Friday. In the process, my router got toasted. I live in an old building and I'm embarrased to admit I didn't have a surge protector on it. He not only diagnosed my dead router, he gave me a new one I could have until I got another one. This is huge since I work from home. Can't recommend this company enough!
