I got my computer back, sent it to dell, who repaired it for 120 dollars. all data is still there and computer is working fine. I am glad i did not listen to this person's advice. the worst part is that I was also charged 75 dollars to be given wrong information. i just wish he had said he couldn't help me from the beginning.

He said that's deal or I can pick up the computer,which i did. I brought the laptop to another electronics repair shop and they told me it would be $150 to fix and it will be ready tomorrow. That's without any insurance. When I called the corporate office they looked everthing up and agreed with me that the repair should have been done free of charge. The corporate office refunded this month's $39 charge and canceled my assurance plan. But I'm still paying $150 for a repair that should have been free. So much for free and easy returns. Five weeks later and multiple calls to the idiotic customer service department has yielded no refund. I said yes and she promised to get to the bottom of the situation. Also, she said I would be compensated for my aggravation. Ten minutes later (after I left) she offers me a gift card for the return and promptly forgets what we discussed. I thought she couldn't do a return in store??? Keywords being I requested cash and compensation for aggravation, but she said she would mention to her supervisor. My issue has now been escalated to the District Manager. Unresolved as I write this. They obviously don't know how to offer a reasonable and amicable solution. Fair warning ladies. Don't shop here. The service and rules are horrible. If you need a Kate Spade item, buy it from a department store that has a better and more organized return policy. I will NEVER return after this is over.

Here is my story, I worked here basically all summer, did everything for my boss with only one day of training.... she said she'd give us extra money if we picked up packages and dropped them off. I picked up and dropped off so many packages to try and be a good employee, never got any extra money like I was told. Along with that , she was doing a September Sales incentive where if you earned over $120 per sale , you'd get $10 Style Snoop Bucks. I made over $200 in sales, I made the most out of everyone working there and was super proud of my hard work and dedication to the store. After the month was over, I had 2 weeks left of work until my big move to LA. Unfortunately I got sick a couple days before my last day and had to call in sick. My boss was really upset and didn't believe that I was sick, told everyone I quit, (not true), told me to never come back , told me I didn't care about her store, told me I wasn't a good employee and never gave me my incentive. Never gave a young college student the money she earned , that is pretty terrible and selfish for an adult women to do. Basically punished me, all because I called out sick and it was such an inconvenience for her. Threw all my hard work out the window. All I can say is how can someone be so selfish. I felt like I could never go to her for questions or say any creative ideas I had because the way she'd speak to me, I felt like I could never do anything right and nothing ever satisfied her. Last week I needed advice regarding one of my older laptops; I was also giving consideration to purchasing an IMac. After speaking with Henry, I bought a 27-in. IMac. Took it home, opened the box; there was a glitch. Details are not important; it was a minor miscommunication, mistakes happen. What is important to me is how a problem is resolved. Henry and I worked together to make it right. No waiting in line, no arguments, or "I'll get the manager". It was a simple, polite and professional business transaction. In the end, we shook hands. Though I did not buy another IMac that day, I will return again to Middleton Experimax in a few weeks to do so. Consumers have choices. On-line, big box, Amazon, the Apple Store etc. The above, sterile and impersonal and resolution can be difficult if a problem occurs. At Middleton Experimax you walk in and talk to the owner. My choices are based on relationships. Henry will listen (much better than I do) and work with you to meet your needs. Whether you are buying a box of screws, family gift, or computer, spend your money locally and support the businesses in your community. Middleton Experimax has earned my trust; it is not often I purchase a computer or need repairs, but when I do I will return to Experimax to work with Henry.
