She then explained that I had to go to a Best Buy rather than offering to call, which would have been a great move. I asked if she could put the screen protector on the phone at least, as I am awful at that. And without cleaning her hands from eating she just puts it on. Last week I needed advice regarding one of my older laptops; I was also giving consideration to purchasing an IMac. After speaking with Henry, I bought a 27-in. IMac. Took it home, opened the box; there was a glitch. Details are not important; it was a minor miscommunication, mistakes happen. What is important to me is how a problem is resolved. Henry and I worked together to make it right. No waiting in line, no arguments, or "I'll get the manager". It was a simple, polite and professional business transaction. In the end, we shook hands. Though I did not buy another IMac that day, I will return again to Middleton Experimax in a few weeks to do so. Consumers have choices. On-line, big box, Amazon, the Apple Store etc. The above, sterile and impersonal and resolution can be difficult if a problem occurs. At Middleton Experimax you walk in and talk to the owner.
