My 76 year-old neighbor recently lost her brother and it's the first time she's ever lived by herself and had a cell phone. Thank goodness she got an iPhone so I could help her. We entered the AT&T store about 3:30 on a Monday and only had to wait a few minutes. Shana, the representative, was so kind, caring and thoughtful throughout the process of getting my neighbor's phone set up. My son upgraded his phone at this store and Next Up Anytime $10/month was added without him knowing. I get a text alert that this service was added. We return to the store and spoke with the same guy Brian that help my son. He said this service is automatically added and that we can return or call customer service after 14 days to get that remove. Also they will charge us a restocking fee if we return the phone since it was open. This is fraud... adding services to customer without informing them and make it difficult to remove. Unacceptable! read more

We have used this store for years, apparently now they do not help if your phone needs the port cleaned out, but will tell you you have to buy a new phone instead, because they don't have that tool anymore. Our phones are only bout a year old. They are just lazy ass young pos that only want sales. read more

Poorly staffed for the day after Christmas. They need more seating and better than padded benches if they are going to run things this way. Kia, is an employee who AT&T should be so prooooud of !!!! I have had 2 problems which he took care of !!!! Today Aug. 24, 2021 i had problems with my billing being sent from AT&T, tried calling 800-288-2020 they were no help at all, My due date is Sept. 5, 2021 and I have been paying $275.88 since May 2021, since I always pay my account on time I needed a response and received none! Decided to go to Arlington AT&T store on Green Oaks and found that Kia was working..(thank goodness) he advised me what he could take care of and he spent 45 minutes solving my problem, and yes AT&T is very expensive if you have UVERSE CABLE but with Kai if you have problems go to store and ask for KIA !!!!!!!!! I went in to get a new phone cause my upgrade was available and after seeing the expression on the employees face I knew it was gonna be a weird experience. When asked for the passcode to the account I gave him the correct one and it didn't work, so he tried again and it still didn't work. So I tried to use that same login on my phone and it worked just fine and I told him that then he raised his voice and told me "my man, did you not just see me put it in." I replied "well it worked for me, so I don't know what's going on." Then he stormed off and didn't come back out. I didn't get this employees name, but he was a bald African American man. I bought a phone a month ago and was completely scammed by a man. I don't remember his name but he was asian. I was told I would be buying a phone for "half off" when really their definition was "buy the phone for half off and then pay the other half in credit." Not only that but he lied to me and said that the down payment I had made was the only payment I would make. Not til a month later do I realize that there's a 30 payment installment on my account. I am beyond frustrated and will never come back to this store again. read more

I have been in the store twice over the last few years and each time there were computer/system technical difficulties causing a long wait time. I visited this location back in May 2018 and was very put off by the sales associate, Josh. I witnessed him talking down to others as well just an overall cocky attitude. I had an android and was in need of some general info considering I'd be switching over to an iPhone. Josh wasn't able to answer most of my questions and when he was able to he gave off the impression that he was too good to help. read more

This store has been very helpful and understanding for me and my wife whenever we have a question about our phones. We are not tech savvy and they have always been friendly and glad to help. Also, they are helpful when I have to go in and make a payment for my daughter since she is disabled and does not have a credit card or bank account. read more

It really is terrible customer service to have only 3 employees working on a busy Saturday in a busy area. No one ever greeted me when I walked in or asked me what my issue was - which was a simple question honestly. The list was 8 people deep and people were leaving with absolutely having had no interaction from an employee. It would seem to me that if someone were walking around asking those waiting what their issue was then it could possibly save people a ton of time if their issue is beyond the store's help. It's just frustrating and poorly managed. Shame on you AT&T. read more

This was the most horrible customer service! Lisa sent us out the door with a new phone in the box, never making sure the phone even worked, and then once we got it out of the box it stopped working! Knowing we have 14 days to return or exchange we went in the NEXT day to do so and Ricky, the manager and a district manager, who we never got the name of, refused to exchange the phone for one that worked! If i were the owner of this franchise i would make sure I was in the business of customer service and not have inept managers or staff working for me! Honestly, I would have given them a zero star rating but it makes you do at least 1! Don't do business with this store unless you want poor customer service! read more

Wow...just saw that this place has a 1 and a half out of 5-star overall review average. I'm really surprised it's that high. (Probably because ZERO isn't an option!) I have bought my last two phones from this exact location...well, actually THREE now because they wanted to charge me a $45.00 restocking fee for a phone they sold me THIRTY MINUTES AGO...that I never used! Took an LG G5 in for an error message that was causing it to not power up. Salesman Diego said they don't fix them there but I could buy a "cheap" phone to use til I could get this one repaired or replaced. Forty bucks...fine...no worries. I use it for a day or two until I get mine repaired. Took the G5 to "Fix It Fast" phone repair shop in the same shopping center as this AT&T Store literally 200 feet away. They fixed my G5 in two minutes and didn't even charge a service fee...that's how easy it was to fix. Why in the world couldn't the AT&T "authorized retailer" have done that? I don't know. But THAT'S not the problem. The problem is a bogus restocking fee for a phone that was NEVER USED! read more

This store has the worse, rudest, most uninformed staff I have ever experienced in any store. They do not even know their own pricing plans and only want to give you the bare minimum of information as to pricing. They did not even know AT&T had a senior price plan and even though I pointed it out on their website, they would not offer it to me. They had no knowledge of the various taxes that would be applied to any bill (though the customer behind me in line had full knowledge). Yes, I could have researched it and found out,but isn't that why the sales reps are there for? They will not tell you anything that amounts to anything that affects the price beyond what they tell you. There is never enough staff on hand to help. When I was there recently, there was 1 rep trying to "help" 5 people. Mysteriously, after about 30 minutes, 3 more sales reps appeared out of the back room. This store is only in the business of selling you a plan THEY want to sell and are not interested in answering any questions you might have, In summary: This store is staffed by unprofessional young kids that are probably working on commission . read more

I first visited Cellular World on Green Oaks Blvd., an AT&T retailer, on 4/20/16. I wanted to see if I could get a better rate with AT&T than I had with Verizon. I met with sales rep, Israel Delgado, to discuss my options. Israel quoted me a rate that was about $30 lower per month than my Verizon rate. The drawback was that I would have to purchase a new iPhone from AT&T. I wasn't thrilled about that because I had recently purchased a Verizon iPhone 6S Plus from Apple for $900. Israel Delgado assured me, however, that I would receive a $650 switching rebate for my Verizon iPhone. I decided to take the offer, since the ROI was only about 10 months. Israel told me to return to Cellular World when I had my final bill from Verizon and he would process the rebate paperwork. I returned to the store on 4/28/16 and Israel submitted the rebate paperwork while I was there, then gave me the confirmation paperwork. I was told to expect a prepaid $650 Visa card in the mail in 4-6 weeks. Last week, on 7/28/16 (3 months later), I received a letter from AT&T stating that my rebate request was rejected. I called AT&T customer service, but was disconnected twice after holding for more than 60 minutes, so, on 8/1/16, I decided to visit Cellular World to find out how to correct the problem. After all, the Verizon iPhone I gave them belonged to me, and I could have recouped at least $500 for it from a number of places.The sales rep I spoke with told me that Israel Delgado was no longer with Cellular World, so I explained the issue to him. He told me that I would need to go to an authorized AT&T store, because Cellular World was just a retailer and did not have authority to issue a refund. I drove about 10 miles to the closest authorized AT&T store, where I spoke with a sales rep, then a manager. The manager there told me that I was not eligible to receive the rebate because AT&T was not able to "buy out" my Verizon contract because I was past the two year commitment period. (It seems like this would be a good thing for AT&T.) The manager at the AT&T store told me that Cellular World was responsible for misrepresentation when Israel Delgado stated that I was eligible for the $650 switching rebate. I returned to Cellular World (in tears by now) and spoke to the manager. The manager at Cellular World was not helpful, and basically told me that I had no options. Beware of this place, folks. They basically stole a new iPhone 6s Plus from me and, apparently I have no recourse! read more

Don't install the upgrades on your phone! That's how A T & T gets you to come back into the store and have to get a newer phone. Even the reps working in this store advises you not to do it. How fraudulent is that? And you know those great deals they'll offer you when you get a new phone i. e. iPads well, those aren't great deals at all. I bought a new phone there and then was offered an iPad for $100. I took the bait. And then 2 years later found myself unable to cancel the account and turn off the iPad without paying $235.00 or more in early termination fees!!!! Wow!! Nobody mentions that when you get these great deals from A T & T. Oops, someone didn't explain the "catch" on that "bait" and switch program. I thought that was illegal too A T & T?? Deliberately making your phones slow down with each upgrade until the customer is forced to purchase a newer more expensive version ($1,000 for a iPhone X? Wow. That's a lot of money.) And then selling you an A T & T product for a low ball price but attaching a two year contract that you have to pay an outrageous early termination penalty to stop or close the account to that device. Really sounds like illegal business practices. How has A T & T been able to avoid lawsuits for this crap? Whose looking out for the consumers anymore? Buyer beware!!! read more

I owned a brand new apple air2 plus tablet which I no longer required. Israel an agent told me he could give me a new Apple 6s-plus cellphone for the tablet, plus $40 credit on my bill. I questioned him on how he could do this, and like a fool I believed him. He told me if I had any charges on my next bill to bring it to him an he would have it corrected. I did that an when I went back the second time I was told he no longer worked there, and had a new manager. He checked the records and told me I had only been given $45.00 for my tablet and was being charged $22.00 plus a month until the new cell phone was paid for. He asked to keep the copies of my bill. He would check with his manager to see if anything could be done, but it might only be $50.00 credit. He would call me the next day, and also said another company may buy the franchise. It has been over a week with no return call. I guess someone got my new i-pad. I have tried to get in touch with AT&T to see if I couldn't just pay for the phone and not pay interest on it, but getting in touch with AT&T by phone will take many hours on hold. read more
