At least three other customers who overlapped with my appointment were repeat customers. That's always a good indication of well-served customers. If I ever have the misfortune of cracking another phone screen, I would go back. The only somewhat bad part was that the customer waiting area was next to the windows, so the sun was very warm and bright on my back and head. I also felt like the wait was longer than expected. However, as promised, the repair to my device was less than 1 hour, and the cost was exactly as promised. All around good deal. Definitely better than getting a new phone.

I just wanted to restore the photos from a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Over the next six months, I texted periodically to see if any progress had been made. Sometimes months went by when he didn't even reply. Finally, it came out that he had sent my phone to a third party, which made me really nervous because it has my personal data. At this point, he also informed me that it would be at least $350. I asked him to reconsider the fee since I'd been waiting six months at that point, often going months at a time without hearing back from him. I warned him that I was moving out of state in June. A week or so later he said his partner had recovered 70% of the data, that they were working on the last 30%, and that he had quoted me $450 (he had not). I told him again that I was unhappy with the price, and that considering the timeline and lack of communication (poor customer service) I expected a compromise on the fee. The last I heard from Gautam (Fix a Cell) was July 13th with a promise to get back to me in a week. Four months later and I heard nothing. A year has come and passed since I dropped my phone off. If they can't finish the job, they need to return my phone. I will revise this review if I get back either my phone or my data. Shame on me for not insisting on a timeline and quote up front in writing, but also shame on him for not providing that information and managing my expectations to begin with.

The gentleman was so professional, he had to remove an EMF shield off the back of my phone to put the new protective cover on. He refused to put the cover on until all the adhesive was removed. I didn't care because it would never be seen. It was against his integrity to leave some adhesive. I so appreciate customer service that is REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Thank you A2Z!!
