Looked for a repair shop in the Arlington area... I found this one as it was near my eye doctor and assumed I could get my device repaired during my eye exam. Dropped off iPad for repair a little before 1pm and was told it would be completed within an hour. I was pleased with the time range, an hour was welcomed. He indicated the machine was down and could not give me a recipe it for check in, but he would he call with the ticket number. I never got the ticket number. I called at 4:15 to check on the status he indicated it was complete. I shared that I was a bit away, but I would be there within an hour. I arrived at 6:30 and it was still not repaired. He indicated he failed to call me and let me know that it wasn't ready. He then proceeded to tell me that the debit machine was not in order and I would have to pay cash and to come back in 20 minutes. He gave a me a $5 off card for the next time. read more

This was a decent place to take your cell phone for replace. Guy was honest and price was for repair was reasonable. I gave a 4 stars because I had to keep calling for updates on phone status but overall everything was good. Not knowing it but my phone had water damage and the issue with the home button wasn't fixable. The owner recommended I take it to Apple and see if they can fix it maybe give me a credit. I took to Apple and they were able to help. Will definitely come back for any issues. read more

I'm not sure the reason behind all these positive reviews. After my phone screen replacement at this store, the sensor is not even half as responsive as the original one.the screen wrongly interprets the touch. When I scroll up or down, the screen thinks I am trying to click into something; when I try to click (especially in the corner of the phone), nothing happens. Typing has also been a lot more challenging as some letters are omitted and others show up twice upon the same touch. Also the screen now takes on a dull and blue hue. This never happened before the screen replacement. I went back the store to have them put on a new screen but the same problems remain. This makes me believe it's due to the overall poor quality of the phone screens that they sell. For a price that almost matches the Apple's store screen replacement cost, I had expected better screen quality. My recommendation for anyone who's looking to replace a cell phone screen: spend the extra $50 and go to the Apple store!! The inconvenience caused by these low quality and defective screens is not worth the minimal savings. I was misled by all these positive google reviews.. don't repeat my mistakes! read more

I took my broken Samsung Galaxy S3 in for a new screen. Then took it back. Then took it back again. The edges of the screen kept bubbling. Every time I took it back, they re-attached the screen. And a week later, it's gone bad again. And on top of that, the proximity sensor doesn't work right anymore either. I see no point in continuing to take in back, getting the same results. The last straw was when I needed to take an iPad in for a dead screen. 25 minutes after they were supposed to be open, it was still locked up. I gave up and went somewhere else. And will continue to go somewhere else. read more

Had an IPhone 5 screen replaced for $160 that didn't last two weeks. It broke while in my pocket. You could tell the fracture was from the center of the screen. The useless tech claims the 30 day warranty does not cover their cheap glass. Horrible service. DO NOT USE!!!! read more

Definitely would not recommend. The quality of their over priced phone screens are terrible and their customer service is even worse. I came here to have my phone screen repaired only to be given the wrong screen with promises that they would replace it with the correct one within a week. Over a month later, they still didn't have the correct screen. Not only that, but the screen is incredibly dull and they messed up the sensor in my phone. It randomly presses buttons/ calls people (including the police - that was embarrassing). Lastly, the screen cracked incredibly easily and now they are telling me they will no longer give me the correct screen, which I don't think they were plannned on doing. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Apple store wanted $150 to fix a shattered iPhone screen. This place did it for $80 ON A SUNDAY. Yes, there are cheaper places, but this place was open on a Sunday whereas the others are not. I docked them 1 star because of the following situation: I called the number for this location and asked if they could replace a screen before they closed today. The rep on the phone said, 'yes.' When I got to the store, the tech said he could NOT fix the phone while I wait. When I complained that I spoke to someone who said he could, he said all calls go to a central calling station, not specifically to their store. Well, the nice guy stayed after-hours and fixed my phone anyway. For that, I wanted to recommend them to anyone else who smashes their phone screen on a Saturday night and needs their phone operational again before Monday morning. read more

So we go over there and they say it'll be $110 and 20min. I'm like swag and give it to him. So we go go sun and ski, mom tries on chacos and then we go back to pick it up. Well I pay and pick it up. After a minute I realize that the screen doesent really respond well and so I'm like shoot that's a pain. Fortunately the guy said there's a 30 day warranty. No biggie I thought. So next I take it back and he says he'll get a new screen. Ok I think. Defects happen. So I take my new screen which responds better, but soon I realize there's a sizable spot Under the screen. So now I'm Mad and take it back in and I say look I have to go out of town tomorrow. I say "This sucks so give me my old screen back, I'll be back on Friday, and you can take this screen with the dot back and I'll take a refund." He says no he has to put the cracked one back if I want my money back. So he pulls out some screen from the back and asks if it's mine. They look similar and I'm mad and in a rush so I say yeah. So he goes and puts that screen on and then comes back out and I try it. Then the stupid thing won't even turn on so then I'm pissed off, and I realize it's not mine. He's like "uhh sorry we just put them in a pile in the back" and so I tell him to change it again, and he does and finally I get a refund, wasted two hours, and I still have the same screen I started with. So to summarize: He replaced my current iPhone 5 screen with two screens that had issues of their own. Neither screen he tried to fix it with worked. He claims they were oem but I'm skeptical. After 2 hours in a crummy little storefront, I left with my original phone screen and a terrible experience. I reccomend you take your business elsewhere. Other notes: -All chargers and cases in stock looked very cheap. Think flea market quality. -Store itself was in poor condition. Clean but crude. -Sketchy people kept wandering into the back office and back out. They appeared to be from the nutrition place next door. Odd and unsettling when my $600 iPhone is back there. -The man working there (josh perhaps) was wearing a casual T-shirt and jeans. No name tag, no badge, no company attire. Very unprofessional. Do NOT go here! I took my phone there in December for water damage. They held on to my phone for a week and didn't even fix it. I paid them their asking price for water treatment and was fine with the phone not responding until I went to Apple. Apple removed the back piece and showed me the difference between a water treated phone and mine. This place charged me for a service they did not even do. All of the original adhesives and stickers are still on my phone that would not be there had a water treatment been completed. Also, they said my home button was corroded and unfixable- Apple cleaned it and said that's all they had to do and now my home button works. What makes me so upset is that my phone has been left untreated because I was under the impression they had done it, but they lied and took my money anyway. All they have done is wasted the time I could have taken my phone somewhere that would have done it and now my phone is unfixable because the water stayed in my phone too long. So thanks, Rescue Cell Phones, for taking my money for services not rendered, never calling me back with updates as promised, holding on to my phone for 5 days more than promised, and for leading me to believe my phone was a lost cause - which now it is thanks to you.
