I had to have a technician come by to check my equipment since I've been having slow speed issues. My window to wait was from 3-4pm. I got a call around 4pm that my technician would be late with an updated ETA of 4:30pm. The link to the live map stopped working at 4:45pm. My technician didn't arrive until 5:15pm. It took the technician an hour to solve the problem.

So this time, we made an appt in Cary that had a little better rating. Walked in at the Crossroads and was greeted by Stephon, with a smile ;). He couldn't find the appt but was able to pull up our account. We were replacing our son's iPhone 11 with iPhone 17. It was challenging because i11 didn't have enough space to download latest iOS update. Stephon recommended we signed up for iCloud storage, do the backup then download from iCloud to i17. However, we were not able to successfully do the transfer, even by kissing the phones. My son finished the transfer at home but somehow the i17 went back in time to when we had limited screen time on i11. It was sooo frustrating not to be able to remove it. Fast forward, Apple chat helped us to get an appt. Problem resolved ;) While chatting with Stephon, another rep came up to ask if he needed help. He said "he was ok". His pricing is lower than most but higher than the cheapest. But I'm willing to pay extra to guarantee an actual apple replacement screen and for the lifetime warranty thing that he does. I've tried icracked before with a related repair after hearing some mediocre reviews and honestly they have a ehh (2.5-3 stars) program but the people or "technicians" are horrible. I'm not sure how they passed through their program. He also does a little follow up just to make sure everything is good and asked if I could write a review if I felt that his work was decent and if I wanted to write the review. Looking at the outage map, it was considered low impact and didn't effect a large number of customers. Then the hours kept increasing, yesterday the outage map read 105 hours. 3 days later our fix no longer has a time estimate when we call, and the outage map now reads 105 hours to be fixed for the second day in a row. When we asked about a refund for the days missed, we were told we would be refunded zero dollars for downed service. Essentially we paid them to provide us with no service or customer support whatsoever. Thankfully it caused us to find Google was 30 dollars cheaper a month for the same service, so we canceled. They lost a longtime customer.

Then the next day at 9 AM sharp the tech shows up (TWO DAYS EARLIER than he would have been supposed to, had the visit not been canceled). The customer service is completely worthless and dangerously inept. Oh and now my billing "pay by" date has mysteriously been moved up by a half a month.

Like fools we believed the Comcast people on the phone when they told us we would be released from the contract if Comcast did not offer service at the new location we would be moving to. Turns out no Comcast service is offered at our new location. You guessed it. They will not release us from the additional 10 months on the contract. They lied to us and their management explained that Comcast cannot be held responsible for what their employees tell customers. The only thing that matters is what they tricked us into signing. I cannot tell you how poor this customer service is and what an awful experience it has been to do business with this company. We have never encountered anything like it. If I could have rated them with zero stars, I would have. "Caveat Emptor-Let the buyer beware". Now the public is aware!
