Awful customer service. Stay far away! We have nothing but headaches. Something fails. They send…read moreparts and ask you to fix it. And we pay for premium protection. And be very careful. They are not licensed HVAC / electrians. If your home products require these technicians to repair/replace, they cannot do the work. Our installers voided warranties when he pulled our thermostats. Our HVAC company, who were cool, said they didn't have to cover the warranty on the machines either. They have had past issues with Vivant. We weren't in the know, unfortunately we found out the hard way. We were on the fence taking legal action. But we ate the repair costs over lawyer costs and time spent in courts. But if our HVAC company decided to not to honor the warranties, we definitely would have gone the legal route.

I got this installed 5/26 at 4pm. The salesman, Zack Anderson told me I could use this for 3 days…read moreor even up to 30 days and if I did not like it I could have the security system taken out. ON the THIRD day of having it(5/29/20)I texted Zack and told him to cancel it and have someone come out to get the security system. He called me to try to talk me out of it. I texted back saying no just come get the system. Got no response so texted him The next day(5/30/20) and asked him for a cancellation paper which he failed to give me(apparently he does not give them out to every customer like he is supposed to as he didn't give one to my neighbor either. He texted saying he wanted to call to tell me why to keep Vivint. ONCE AGAIN. I told him no come get it..to get NO RESPONSE. I texted him again Monday(6/1/20) asking when they could come take it out just for him to tell me "Due to NC state law the trial period was set to 3 days and had closed". I called Vivint customer loyalty Multiple times Because clearly he wasn't doing anything to help me get it taken out. Finally got a hold of Evan Anderson where he was going to put in a cancellation request. I sent him all the texts PROVING that I texted Zack to cancel ON the third day and he put in a cancellation apparently 6/8 when I got the email. They came to get my neighbors system and I still had not heard when they were coming to get it so I reached out again Multiple times to finally get a hold of someone after waiting 35 minutes in hold for them to tell me cancellation was denied because it was put in 6/8 and not 5/29 when I tried getting help from the salesman. Told me I would just have to pay the Citizen one loan of amount due above because I was in the contract and had not "cancelled" it before 5/29. When in fact I tried on the 29th and kept continuing until I got that answer. I have my girlfriend and neighbor as witness as for him telling me 30 days. My girlfriend was there when he was pitching his sales pitch and he told my neighbor 30 days as well to have it taken out. I am not paying a loan that I tried multiple times through the salesman, customer loyalty and when being told I would have to pay the loan I asked to speak to a manager. The worker, I didn't catch his name, told me he would have his manager call me back after he got off the phone and I never received a call back. I've been trying to get a manager or corporate on the phone and am not able to whatsoever. I don't appreciate a lying salesman and being conned into a contract. Once again I am not paying a loan I tried multiple times through multiple people to cancel. I have all the texts to and from the salesman. I have call records where I've called and called relentlessly as well. Please help me dispute this! I was also told that the salesman blocks peoples numbers when they are complaining and wanting the system out. Vivint is not a company I ever recommend!!!!

All I can say from reading these reviews is, whoever gave them 5 stars are either employees or…read morefamilies of employees. After having ADT for 3 years, and satisfying our commitment with them, and paying for the equipment that ADT installed, in our monthly rate, we called the same saleswoman. She arrived and told us that she doesnt endorse ADT anymore and she now works for a better company, and we'd benefit switching over to them and their system named Affinity Integrated Solutions. We were told that it works the same as ADT did and we'd pay for our upgrades with our monthly subscription and it would be just a couple of dollars more than ADT a month. With the new system all our doors would still be armed, as well as a new video doorbell. She added a new camera for our driveway and back patio, as well as all of our windows. AGAIN, we were told that a 3 year monitoring commitment was needed to pay for these upgrades. Sounds great??? 2 months after the installation a charge was on our checking account from a finance company. Upon some searching here and there we found out that NOTHING she had told us was the truth. TRUTH is, we now have a 10 year, yes 10 year, 120-month loan, at 11.99%, PLUS a monitoring charge of $36.99 a month for 39 months. NEVER was the word FINANCE, or INTEREST RATE ever mentioned or even thought of!!!! We trusted this woman and considered her a friend. Running a search of my e mails I found an e mail from the finance company in my spam file that was sent to me 5 days after we authorized our ADT "FRIEND" to upgrade our home. We would have had been able to cancel all of this within-in 3 days, but didn't know until I read this e mail 2 weeks later. Never were we given a copy of our monitoring agreement which we were told we would receive via text and e mail with in 24 hours, which we never did. we called and spoke to the woman who betrayed us and sold us this and she in turn had her boss contact us. He tried to make things right by paying us $520, and 6 months free monitoring services. BUT we're still stuck with a 10 year note at 11.99% We are senior citizens on a fixed social security income, I'm 70 years old and will have this bill until the age of 80. I use to look forward to my twilight years but now afraid of my future and that of my senior wife. This has and will put a strain on us for the next 10 years plus. PLEASE beware of this company trying to win you over and giving you the world!!!!! It's despicable what this company does and how they run their business. BEWARE!!!!!!!!! ALWAYS have them print out what you are signing, do not do a docu-sign and just click where they tell you to click! You just may end up like us If you get contacted by Naomi Simmons of AIS shut the door, hang up the phone,or turn off your hearing aids!!!!!!! BUYER BEWARE
