I entered the shop frazzled & angry at myself over an issue that I thought I SHOULD be able to resolve myself. Charlie was wonderful. She talked me off the ledge and assured me that if it could be fixed, Chris would get it done. Chris and I talked a few days later. He presented me with great options (that saved me thousands) and my laptop was ready when he opened the next morning. Beyond the fantastic service from the entire team and depth of knowledge that Chris posseses, what won me over was the warmth, respect, friendliness and deep trust I felt the moment I stepped through the door. It isn't easy to hand your personal, sensitive information to a stranger. But I knew I was in good hands. When I picked up my laptop, Chris was beaming with pride over a trophy he'd earned for his hardwork. He showed me some of his other work as well. In addition to his custom built computers, the websites he creates were truly top-notch. Mind blown. The quality is what you might expect from a mullt-million dollar comany. And it's not less exceptional for the smallest microbusiness. Never, ever go to a retal chain for computer repair. Or use some from free site builder. Nothing in life is free. But Reid's pricing is very competitive. See Chris & Chalie at REID'S! You will not be disappointed.

The Apple Store floor reps were stumped, and the Genius Bar was so backed up they sent us to IT Worx on Battleground instead. Best referral we ever got. Reo knew exactly what the problem was, walked us through the fix, and had my friend up and running with everything verified in under 20 minutes. He was patient and friendly the whole time. When I'm ready for my next Mac, I'm skipping the Apple Store and buying from IT Worx.

A similar appointment last year at Apple took almost an hour, though that was a much busier store. I will definitely be returning if I have any more mishaps!

This happened a couple of weeks ago, so I know the repair was successful. I had bought the OEM replacement keyboard on eBay for $48 and had tried to install it myself. Couldn't get it to work. Didn't know that 15-pin ribbon connectors are very difficult to use for a mere non-techie productivity user like me. The YouTube videos made it look easy. NOT! So took it to Intrex. My wife has used them for all her PC needs over the years and recommended them highly. Turns out I had messed up the connector, so he CAREFULLY and EXPERTLY harvested the good circuit board with the connector on my old keyboard and replaced the circuit board I had damaged on the new keyboard. He then VERY CAREFULLY and EXPERTLY aligned the 15 pins of the connector with their mates and, after a couple of attempts, SUCCESS! (You would not believe how tiny the pins of the connectors are). I was so happy. Still am! So, I ask him what I owe him, and he says $22.73 or something like that. I stared at him and said, "You can charge me more." He replied, "Naw, it only took me 15 minutes." Amazing. I have decided to try to do all my PC-related equipment purchases and repairs with Intrex from now on. They sell (and build), systems and parts as well as repair them. The guy who was next in line--- without prompting-- enthusiastically raved about them. Only thing you might not like is, they don't smile a lot. No small talk or b.s. They're busy. That's fine with me--in fact, it's a good thing. I used to be around techies back in The Day-- was in the PC software industry for years. Some techies are charlatans, others are mediocre, and a few are talented rock stars like these guys, so I didn't mind a'tall. I don't need the upfront chit-chat and the love-- I get the love from the results. In that respect, these guys give a lot of love.
