I came in with a last minute appointment after spilling a soda on my laptop (horrible I know!). The workers were friendly and explained everything well. They were able to answer my questions about the timeline and cost and I left feeling prepared for any possible outcome to my situation. The workers were even patient when I forgot my password for an embarrassingly long amount of time. I was in and out in under 15 minutes, including turning over my computer and everything. A similar appointment last year at Apple took almost an hour, though that was a much busier store. I will definitely be returning if I have any more mishaps! read more

One of my Apple phones' battery was dwindling. I didn't want to deal the Apple Store. I booked an appointment with IT Worx online. They were ready for me at my appointment time on a Saturday. It was a holiday weekend and I understood any delay they may have had. The tech was very professional. They called when they diagnosed the problem. They ask for approval before they start the work. They communicate if there are any issues along the way and charges. I had a sticker on the phone and they stated it may get damaged during the service. It didn't get damaged, because they were very diligent. The fee for the entire service was minimal to me and I was very pleased. Phone works like a charm now. After taking my iMac to the Apple Store and being told that it was too old to get parts for, the Genius Bar employee referred me to I.T.Worx. Not only did they repair the failed hard drive, they connected me with a data recovery specialist in California that retrieved all of my data up front. They shipped it in advance of their repair. When the computer was shipped back, the display screen was cracked. I.T.Worx helped to navigate through a claim that covered the entire cost of replacement. End result: my go to computer of the past decade was returned to me with 100% recovered data, a brand new hard drive with larger memory and a brand new screen. All of this was less than the cost given to update with brand new equipment that would be comparable to what I had. read more

My MacBook Pro wouldn't load properly, and I tried repairing it myself via Google and YouTube, with no luck. I live in Winston Salem but drove to Greensboro to get it fixed and they were able to fix it the same day! They were up front and honest in that my machine, which is a 2011, was still in great condition and a repair made more sense than a replacement. I trust these guys and hopefully won't have more computer issues but if I do, I'm going here!! read more

I had my iMac worked on and had fantastic service with a quick turnaround. Took my computer in as it wouldn't power on after we lost power during the ice storm. Technician explained the safety features that's a built in feature to help protect the computer. He powered the system back up, checked the hard drive and ran diagnostics and found viruses. He kept the computer overnight removed all viruses. He added additional RAM and showed me some additional features as well as synced my phone for easier backups and connections to the iCloud. Very professional and reasonably priced. I highly recommend their services. read more

This is the worst type of customer service I have ever received. There is no personalization and was made to feel as though I was beneath. I am not a satisfied customer. The dishonesty and poor customer service has turned me completely off. The customer service was deplorable. I dropped my mac and 2 external hard drives off for repair on the 10th. I got a call about a week later that the hard drive had a bad sector and that it needed to be placed on a special machine. I approved the additional service. I get a call 1.5 weeks later stating there is a fee for this service that needs to be paid to initiated. I told them this was not communicated previously and that we have lost about 2 weeks of service time. I call back the next day to question about this and was able to speak to the manager, who is the original person I spoke to. He proceeds to tell me that he told me that there was a fee when he called 1.5 weeks perviously and I said I was coming in on a Monday. This is where the first lie was told. I told him that has to be completely untrue, due to the fact that I work 2 hours away and had a doctor's appt the next day. He then says I can pay over the phone. I said why wasn't that offered before. He then proceeds with another lie and states that he has been trying to call me several times and that my voicemail was full. This is when I became livid. The reason is, I have a google voice number that I can track all calls made to me whether I pick up or not and it is backed by a 2TB Google cloud storage. It would never be full. Not to mention, I have received multiple voicemails in the last week. This is when I decided not to continue service because of the dishonesty and refusal to honor their mistake. It sadden me that the manager did not own their mistake or would attempt to lie to cover their oversight. read more

Life saver! Tarek and staff at the Greensboro location are wonderful! I think my first visit was in early 2017. MacBook Pro (2011 vs) needed repair. Repair was done quickly, didn't break the bank and I was happy....my data was saved. When my son and I needed new laptops, I went right back to IT Worx. Josh was super helpful and easy to talk to about the issues my imac was having. My guess is that is a major part of the success of that place and is probably not being paid what he is worth. There was a little confusion after talking to other employees about how long the service would take or when I could pick it up, but Josh informed me that they were busy and it could take a little longer than expected when I initially dropped it off so no harm there. Also, they told me that my operating system would be updated which they did do -- just not as far as they initially told me. They told me it was a mistake on their part and they were very sorry and just to bring the computer back in and they would update it to what was promised. Again, simple mistake so no harm no foul. Finally, I was a little confused on whether or not my diagnostic fee that I paid to initially drop the computer was credited to my bill as was promised. I later found out that it was but I would encourage you to double check that before paying for your service. All in all this was a great experience and I am stoked on how well my computer is working now. This computer is going on 8 years old and I am hoping to get another few years out of it. I am glad that I could save money, get more out of my current computer, AND support a local business instead of blowing my money on a bran new computer from a big corporation. Not to toot my own horn but I left this place feeling like I made a smart consumer decision. read more
