I had a 10 year old whole house system (audio, visual, security and cameras, intercom with doorbell, lighting and internet) I'm not exactly sure what happened with that company over the years...the service got increasingly worse (they did not fix issues and most of the time just caused other problems), the turnover of technicians was high because I started to see a different one every time they sent somebody. We were not only unhappy with the service but we had an outdated system. Their update solution was sooo expensive and still not ideal! I started the search for another company. I was going to get several estimates but I immediately stopped my search after the first meeting with Element Integrations. The first guys I met used to work for the company that we were leaving. I knew these guys-they were installers/technicians when my house was built 10 years ago. It was like a reunion-I was so happy to see the guys that were around when I was happy. I felt confident these guys knew what they doing (many years of experience) and that they would take care of us and our system. I knew all those nice, knowledgeable, service-oriented guys who left the previous company went somewhere! The best guys who left there are here at EI! EI upgraded my system, fixed the bugs and cleaned up some messes left by the other company! Everything works, consistently and is easy to use! They are there if I need them, even if I just have a question, and they get to me quickly if I need service (which hasn't been often!) If you are looking for a company for integrated audio/video and technology just start here and save yourself some time, money and aggravation!!

I was looking for people with greater experience than Best Buy. Mark got back to me very quickly and we arranged to have Karl visit us for a consultation. Karl listened to all the details of what I wanted in my setup, offering plenty of feedback on what I might expect and need. (He also took a look at my network closet, but I chose not to do anything with it.) By the end, we had probably spent an hour or more together and I got an excellent plan that we decided to go with. When my TV came in, Karl offered to come over ASAP to do the work. He showed up right on time, bringing Jeff along to do the job. They created an entirely clean setup for me, with wires running through the wall, and were able to install electricity and relocate networking cables to accommodate the mounting location. They walked me through the physical setup and the TV settings I would need to consider. During the review of the TV, *they* found a flaw in the screen and immediately let me know that they would handle getting a replacement and be back as soon as it came in. They just completed that work for me today and we went through the same review. Karl and Jeff were both great guys. (We talked horror movies and the quality of blacks in the new tech.) And something more I appreciated: they wore masks while in the house, removed their shoes when they came in, and left my house clean. I will be calling these guys again when I need something done. I trust what they tell me and they deliver on what they say.

Upon coming across a couple issues with the install he was creative in developing appropriate solutions to ensure that the TV was mounted as I needed.  He also suggested alternative options to ensure that I was satisfied with the final outcome. He went the extra mile to develop a solution so that I had the best over the air TV I could possibly get at my location. His pricing was very fair even though he had to spend extra time to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction. He did not charge above his original quote. I would highly recommend him without hesitation.

As someone who was getting their tv mounted for the first time he talked through all the decisions of height, tilt, and how to minimize wall damage in our rental with me and gave me his expert recommendations given the layout of our room. He also went above and beyond for wire concealment and mounted our AT&T and roku boxes and power strip to the back of our tv to ensure the mounting was sleek and most importantly safe with all cords out of reach for our baby! He was also very thorough with each step, allowed me to inspect it to make sure I was satisfied, and ensured he cleaned up before he left. Highly recommend Ivan and his team!

I stopped in and met Dan and Ed and was very impressed with his knowledge and confidence in accomplishing the task. (I had been warned by my GC not to use several other companies that he had encountered with other projects in the past.) I proceeded with IE as they had a 5 Star rating on Google. We agreed on a price and time for them to come by for the project. The professionalism of this group was apparent. They always showed up on time- and with a very positive attitude, they went about doing their work. The outcome was exactly what I had expected, so I asked them to revamp my internet access throughout the house. As before, they went about their business in a professional manner. Each time, Ed showed up to be certain that the plan was enforced. In addition to this, they were sometimes able to look remotely into my account to help me. If necessary, they arranged a time to be here. There were several iterations of the internet revamp, but the end result was to have the internet service stable throughout my home-which has three distinct floors. The thing about this group is that each and every time I require some help: if my internet is acting up or if my security system is acting finicky, all I have to do is call Intelligent Electronics. The customer service they provide is always available in the same pleasant and professional manner as was present before the sale! How many companies can you say that about? If you're looking for a company to exceed your expectations in this area, including post sale customer service-look to Intelligent Electronics.

    Our decision to hire Neuwave from new construction to ongoing service has proven to be a poor…read moredecision on our part. They numerous failures and poor quality of installation, and our service expereince with them since has been less than impressive. Most unacceptable was our service experience with a recent internet issue over a weekend. We contacted their 24 hour after hours service line for requesting service assistance, and Neuwave states you will receive a call within an hour. We called 4 times every hour and half with no returned call. Finally, we spoke to the service manager Monday, sharing we work from home, he had no response as to why a call was not received from anyone (including himself). He then elected to email us rather than call us, which leaves one to question whether Neuwave wants to speak with any of their customers. Needless to say Neuwave has totally failed to earn our business, and we will be replacing them with a customer and service centric provider.

However, the control 4 system is always hard to use and inconsistent at best. To turn on the TV now requires 2 remotes and turning on the TV twice on the control4 remote to get the audio to play. The control4 remote LED has faded quickly, so it is hard to see what is selected. I would love to find a different system to get the TV and audio to work well.

But I was very impressed with the fact that an employee came up to me before it was my turn and asked what I needed, and told me if I wanted to skip the wait I could just turn my equipment into the mail, I believe at USPS free of charge. He was extremely polite, calling me ma'am and patiently hearing my story, as I'm quite the rambler. I let him know I was interested in other services as well, but that I appreciated it. At this time I was standing near the front of the store, where it was packed, and I set my equipment down on displays and stood to wait. He kindly let me know about the other section on the other side of the store I could wait it, and it was empty with plenty of chargers. I happily took my seat and waited. The gentleman appeared to be hispanic with curly hair and glasses, and a slightly heavier set build. I only mention this in hopes he gets recognition, because I didn't get his name and his kindness stood out to me. I sit, I wait, and an hour later I'm called up by one of the most pleasant customer service representatives I've ever met in my life. Her name is CRYSTAL - and she ROCKS. She was knowledgeable, quick, patient, and extremely personable. She seemed to be very wary of the long wait and valued my time, asking if I had any place to be because we had to wait for something for a few minutes. I let her know I was perfectly free and had no issue waiting a few more minutes. After all, I'm here for a service, I don't expect things to happen lightning fast. We had some confusion due to my own overdue bills and trying to determine what my balance was for the day. She made EVERY effort to double check every number and make sure I wasn't charged twice, and that my old balance was completely settled. Some people may get frustrated when employees ask someone else for assistance or advice, but to me - it tells me she CARES that it is done right and doesn't just wing it with every decision. She had a manager who was a middle aged white lady, again I forgot her name but she was also a complete pleasure. I let her know how awesome Crystal was as well. By the end of my time with Crystal I was informed, extremely happy with my services and new equipment, and damn near made a friend. We were laughing by the end of the transaction, and I almost wished I had more problems!! She let me know about why my old bills went up , which was because I had signed up on a promo but was never told when it would end. She didn't want to screw me for my money, she wanted me to be AWARE of when , how, and why my bill will change in two years. Effing outstanding.

    Do not ever get spectrum if you live in or by Novi Michigan. This is by far the most unreliable…read moreinternet to exist. I pay for the really good internet too, but multiple times a week theirs service outtages for any reason whatsoever. A little windy? Service outtage. A little rainy? Service outtage. Nice clear sunny day? Service outtage! It must be the infrastructure or something that they don't want to invest in. It must be cheaper to repair whatever the issue is every week than actually replacing, or moving it. As well, this company's representative ran my credit without my permission to offer me their (probably just as terrible) phone service. To add to this, after running my credit they automatically put me on some internet assistance program that temporarily made it cheaper, but he didn't tell me that he did that and acted like he was giving me a good deal until six months later my bill is fifty bucks higher than agreed. You would think during an age where everything relies on internet that they would figure this stuff out, but I have a feeling that it's just a cheap company that's selling garbage for a high profit. If you have the option to not give this company your business I suggest you go with someone else. The service interruptions are just way too frequent for said service to be considered "good".
