The protocols they followed during the height of the COVID-19 event were very good. Thereafter, when Covid was a little more under control they still employ safe standards. We recently ordered Thanksgiving dinner and the sides from them. The turkey was tasty and juicy. The side items were so good! The Italian wedding soup tasted like a nonna made it. And the dinner was reasonably priced. We plan on ordering holiday dinners here again.

Ordered breakfast sandwich here this evening. Friendly waitress, serviceable meal. Waitress cleared my finished plate, left the check. Sat for 10 minutes texting with a friend, place was empty save one other customer. Burley guy, presumably the owner, comes by, grabs my water and half-finished soda from me, "asking" if I was done. Super passive-aggressive move, no eye contact. He walks away, I yell after him, are they closing? He tells me in 20 mins. (Website says 24/7 including holidays.) I'm not begrudging anyone the right to close when they want, but have some manners, and some tact - you came off as a petulant bully, pal.

Texas Meatloaf Special - two pieces of good meatloaf topped with grilled onions, cheddar cheese, bacon and BBQ sauce

Our last few visits to the diner have been really good. We went for dinner tonight and had a great meal. I had the Texas Meatloaf Special - two nice pieces of good meatloaf topped with grilled onions, cheddar cheese, bacon and BBQ sauce. So good it should be on the regular menu!

So-so food! Great service! A met a few friends here for breakfast and was not terribly impressed. Our table was so close to the next table that I bumped knees several times with my neighbor. I ordered a spinach omelette which was good and turkey bacon which arrived burnt. My friends appeared to enjoy their food. On the positive side, our server was excellent.

I got the cheesesteak, $9.05. It comes with french fries and coleslaw. I loved my roll. Nice soft roll with a decent little crust on it. In my pictures you can see there's not much meat. The meat that was there had a good meat flavor. Not much cheese and it was not melted through the meat. I am happy to say that the cheesesteak is probably the weak link at Aston Diner and everything else is five stars.

Real great drunk food. I mean I guess they have some pretty solid breakfast food too depending on the chef.

Don't get the cheeseburger. This formerly frozen, squished hockey puck like thing is nothing like what you'd expect in a good diner burger.

Very spirited group of individuals who are very passionate about their karaoke (everyone participating got their own clapper!). It was a mostly older crowd as another review had mentioned, but they are super welcoming to anyone who is brave enough to get up there on the mic. I grabbed myself a French Onion soup, super cheesy, rich onion broth served nice and hot. Really hit the spot as I have been wanting some for a while. My table also got the crab bisque (yum!) and chicken nachos which were okay, but the cold cheese nibs left a bit to be desired.

My husband ordered chicken salad with bacon on rye toast club. what he got... not a club sandwich, no bacon and we can't tell what type of bread he got! I called to voice a complaint. They were not concerned at my plight. Offered to make him another sandwich and give me my asparagus. Only thing is we would have to go back and pick it up. What happened to the convenience of the customer. Not interested!! This is the second pick up order in the last month and they screwed both of them!! Very disappointing Marianne Kane

This time, we arrived at 11 on a Sunday, and the wait was expected to be about 30 minutes. We decided to stick it out this time. Lo and behold, after 30 minutes, we got the call--it was raining so we hung out under a nearby awning-- and away we went to sit at the window counter/bar, which afforded us a nice view of people going in and out as they joined the queue. I now understand why people line up for this place: they serve an outstanding brunch. I had one of the omelettes of the day, which in this case was artichoke, bacon and mozzarella. While that may seem like an odd combination--I can't remember ever having an omelette with artichoke in it--it totally worked. In fact, it was one of the best omelettes I've had in recent memory. It also came with a yummy biscuit (especially yummy if you ask them to bring you honey butter) and breakfast potatoes (I accessorized their ketchup with a bit of hot sauce and bingo). My dining companion also really enjoyed his spinach, feta and mushroom omelette. Service was friendly and efficient without ever making us feel rushed. Prices are reasonable, and there are a whole lot of things that looked yummy around us, especially the challah stuffed French toast--I definitely wouldn't mind splitting that with a friend on a future visit.

Parking is a little difficult in this neighborhood, but we found a an open lot directly behind the restaurant. Unfortunately, there was a loud loudmouth woman sitting in the corner, who wouldn't shut up throughout our lunch- that was a bit disturbing. The restaurant was top-notch! Highly recommended.
