Very spirited group of individuals who are very passionate about their karaoke (everyone participating got their own clapper!). It was a mostly older crowd as another review had mentioned, but they are super welcoming to anyone who is brave enough to get up there on the mic. I grabbed myself a French Onion soup, super cheesy, rich onion broth served nice and hot. Really hit the spot as I have been wanting some for a while. My table also got the crab bisque (yum!) and chicken nachos which were okay, but the cold cheese nibs left a bit to be desired.

Potatoes were cold, and the green pepper and onion were not blended into the potatoes. I was asked if I wanted green pepper and onions thought never crossed my mind until I was asking, and I said sure . Very disappointed with the quality and the display and quantity was way too much for an omelette. I even stressed. I don't want a lot of potatoes and still got almost an entire plateful. This time, we arrived at 11 on a Sunday, and the wait was expected to be about 30 minutes. We decided to stick it out this time. Lo and behold, after 30 minutes, we got the call--it was raining so we hung out under a nearby awning-- and away we went to sit at the window counter/bar, which afforded us a nice view of people going in and out as they joined the queue. I now understand why people line up for this place: they serve an outstanding brunch. I had one of the omelettes of the day, which in this case was artichoke, bacon and mozzarella. While that may seem like an odd combination--I can't remember ever having an omelette with artichoke in it--it totally worked. In fact, it was one of the best omelettes I've had in recent memory. It also came with a yummy biscuit (especially yummy if you ask them to bring you honey butter) and breakfast potatoes (I accessorized their ketchup with a bit of hot sauce and bingo). My dining companion also really enjoyed his spinach, feta and mushroom omelette. Service was friendly and efficient without ever making us feel rushed. Prices are reasonable, and there are a whole lot of things that looked yummy around us, especially the challah stuffed French toast--I definitely wouldn't mind splitting that with a friend on a future visit.
