I Call a few tow companies and all of them wanted to charge me $250 plus. I call Associated tow and he was asking $180 from Tracy to Stockton, CA. Let me start by saying that customer service is not dead yet! Patrick at Associated Tow is living proof of that! After one of my Spanish speaking customers broke down on the 205, I immediately jumped into action to find him a tow. I called multiple tow companies and all of them were extremely rude. No one wanted to work a threeway call with me and my customer and no one wanted to deal with a Spanish speaker. When I finally got to Patrick, he went out of his way to be patient and courteous with me and my customer. Most celebrated experience I ever had with a tow truck company! Being young and dumb I ran out of gas in the middle of the desert. I was still an hour away from home and miles from the nearest gas station. It was a heaven sent that James with Associated Towing was available almost immediately when I was in a crisis, especially on a weekend. When explaining to James what happened, he was gracious and able to talk me down from being completely panicked. Having the expertise, James took the necessary precautions during the high wind advisory on a busy highway. He was fast, efficient and I was lucky enough to say that meeting James and finding out about this company was a blessing. After helping me pump my gas, he stayed to make sure my truck would start, I knew where I was going for directions and checked if I needed a coffee or energy drink for me to stay awake. James has been the kindest person I have met in California. I can only imagine what events could have happened that night being a young girl, in the dark, by myself, with no help....have you ever seen Dateline?! James really saved the day and not sure what I would have done without his assistance. I never write reviews for anything but I must say that Jimmy is absolutely amazing. He saved me when I was in a huge bind. I was stuck on the side of the freeway coming down the Altamont. I was on my way to get my son from school when my car decided to get stuck in the wrong gear and would not let me accelerate. I managed to get to the right shoulder from the fast lane. I immediately got on yelp. Jimmys was the first tow company that popped up. So I gave him a call. It was rush hour and I was a lil freaked out being stuck where I was. Not to mention my 3 year old daughter was in the car also. When I called he said he was in the middle of something but would stop to come and get me. I was beyond grateful. He was there faster then I imagined he would be. The first thing he did was put my daughters car seat in his truck and buckle her in. He was so kind to her. Made her feel safe. He quickly hooked us then pulled us of the first exit. Once we were of the freeway. He talked a lil more to me about what my car was doing. He said all I really needed to do was turn the car off and then back on and it would reset the sensor. So I did what he said and it worked. But I was still to worried that I didn't want to drive. So he finished hooking us up and drove us home. I honestly don't know what I would have done if he hadn't came for us when he did. I truly truly appreciate him.
