I was driving my car a 83 cutlass and it broke down in Modesto. I contacted this place and they were very helpful. They sent a guy named Erick and he was very nice as well. He towed my car from Modesto all the way to Manteca. Definitely recommend it! read more

If I could I would give an absolute ZERO STAR review. Very poor customer service and absolutely zero professionalism. I understand that having a vehicle towed is already a frustrating situation, but the way I was treated when I came in to pick up my vehicle made the experience even worse. The woman working in the office was extremely rude and disrespectful. There was no greeting, no basic courtesy, and no effort whatsoever to provide decent customer service. What really stood out to me was when she made a comment that she was "already over today" and that she "didn't care if she got fired." That alone says a lot about the level of professionalism being provided to customers. I wasn't expecting anyone to make an unpleasant situation enjoyable, but I do expect to be treated with basic respect when I'm paying to retrieve my vehicle. All Star Towing really needs to reconsider who they have representing their business in the front office. The entire interaction was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and completely unnecessary. read more

My husband was impressed with the exceptional service of All Star Towing. The driver was patient, knowledgeable & seemed to genuinely care about helping him when a truck left a metal bar on the freeway that he could not avoid hitting. The driver made an unexpected & dangerous situation much easier to handle. We are very grateful & recommend them highly. read more

I didn't think they'd want to take my call because it was so minor, but they did! I accidentally locked my keys in the back of my car, a newer Ford Edge. It was hot out and not the easiest task but the gentleman stuck with it. After a few minutes he got it unlocked. Very friendly, patient, and professional. Mind you, I was exhausted and so freaking out that I wouldn't be able to get into my car. Thanks for putting up with me kind sir! read more

I had a very good experience with All Star. I need my tire changed out and it was a very little wait time . After calling at 11 PM at night the Rep was friendly and helpful . When the tow truck arrives the gentleman was also very friendly and was able to change out my tire in less than 10 min. I had to call recently to get a receipt and the lady was super friendly. I have had frustration free service and it was great. Very professional after talking to them multiple times . I highly recommend. read more

My car was stuck in apartment in the puddle . I asked if the could just move my car into a car port. He told me to call the number I did she told me 125$ which I didn't have I had another tow truck come which he couldn't do so I called All Star back and she basically told me she wasn't having only one come out. Now me and my kids are stuck in water smh I forgot the tow guy was already in the apartments taken down a different car read more

All I needed was a simple jump for my battery, so my experience is limited. They came faster than they said they would (+). The guy that came out, Austin, very nice and my address is a little complicated, but he was paying attention and immediately saw me even though I was hiding in the shade due to hot day (+). Austin was quick and polite and got the job done (+). Only negative was the price $85 cash for a jump and I'm 15 minutes away from their office. If I could give 4.5 stars I would, but for that price and for a less than 5 minute job seems excessive. A few reviewers make negative comments about the employee that they interacted with being "thug" like. That was not AT ALL my experience. The guy that came out was very pleasant, yet professional and he was efficient and polite. All of which is perfect when you have a car problem. read more

My car broke down in Tracy awhile ago and Armando was there in 20 minutes. I highly suggest this company for a quick reliable and cheap tow.

I own Associated Tow also in Tracy. This is the 3rd time I've used Allstar . This time they brought out the big wrecker to tow a semi truck that I had to get out of a shopping center I'm contracted with. 2 of the 3 times Kenny has been my service man. He is awesome. Very rare that I think someone is a better version of me but that's him. He is totally knowledgeable about tons of stuff and yet never makes you feel dumb when he explains things or answers my questions. I highly recommend All star to my customers when I'm not available or for stuff I can't handle for them and Kenny is why. 7*s read more

My son had a accident and Tracy police department called all star towing company . The driver came and asked first thing , we charge $180 an hour , I said nothing is free. It took 10 minutes loading , 10 minutes towing and max 10 unloading . Ended up paying $231.75 for 30 minutes. Very rude driver , no communication manner . I don't recommend to anyone . read more

$1,000.00 worth of tools & equipment stollen out of my son's work van after a weekend stay at All Star. If they end up towing your vehicle, take everything of value out. This includes your new batteries. Ask if they have working security cameras that cover the entire yard so when your stuff goes missing you can see who does it. read more

Was parked in a handicap space and one of their drivers Ken came and took a pic of my car I asked him what was the problem he said I didn't have a handicap license and he was going to report me, I showed him my handicap placard(which was hanging on my rearview mirror) and asked him what his problem was. He said he was the one towing cars parked illegally and that his wife was handicap and didn't like ppl parking illegally in handicap. He asked what was wrong with me and that I didn't look handicap (he must be a dr as a side profession), that got me upset and when inside and took a pic of him. Won't be doing any business with a company that employs ppl like this. read more

Josh was at our car on the side of the freeway and took it where we needed to go. Very professional and personable.

I was stuck in a Tracy parking lot with a flat tire. I called around for quotes asking for a price on a 1 mile tow to a nearest tire shop. This business have me an affordable price and the best service I can ask for, from the moment they answered the phone to the moment the tow truck helped. Joe (the tow truck driver) was amazing! He was very polite, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. I strongly recommend this business. If I ever need a tow in Tracy, I will be calling them again. Thank you for the amazing service! read more

This Company is Biased an Discriminatory. It took 5hrs to Release my car. Had me running around doing things that Didn't make any sense to Release my Car. They tried to make me feel Defeated but in the End I Won an got my Car Returned to me. I will never recommend these Awful People to Anyone!!! read more

Not impressed. My car was towed to their yard one evening. I phoned dispatcher. She stated it was after hours and would cost me $100 to retrieve it that night. I told her I'd pick it up in the morning then during normal business hours. When I arrived the next morning she said I owed $100 for overnight storage. What the? Terrible way to do business. read more

Guy that picked me up seemed knowledgeable. Was careful with my car which is the most important thing to me personally

My F450's recently gave me some problems on the road. I made several calls to tow companies In Tracy and most couldn't tow my truck for being considered to big to tow, All Star Heavy Haul was the only one who was able and willing to come and pick me up, they were extremely busy so I waited 2 hours before they could come, they were very accommodating and call me 10 minutes before arriving. Once they got there, Mike was quick and brought me home in no time, their price was fair considering the size of my truck. I have AAA but because of the size of my truck they cannot tow it. I'll recommend All Star heavy Haul anytime. read more

Thank God for Nick!!! Unfortunately my car has aftermarket rims on it and we could not remove the lug nuts when we got a flat. We were a couple of hours away from home. Nick towed us home to Campbell! He was tired and already had a scheduled 5:30 am tow for the next morning. We felt bad for him. We all know the tow company made the money and he was probably paid his standard rate. We appreciate him and his great service! Thank You Nick, you are appreciated!!! read more

All star towing is a legalized ripoff operation. Never allow you vehicle to be moved by this shady operation. My son was involved in a very serious accident that left him layed up and unable to collect his vehicle or belongings. The vehicle was sold as a lean sale and now they are coming after him for an outrageous storage and tow bill. In the middle of a pandemic where he was hospitalized with a broken back, ribs and punctured ribs you would think there would be some compassion. But alas no it's business as usual with all star. No wonder the have a million dollars worth of towing equipment under lock and key. Please avoid this establishment at all costs. The will bend you over no questions asked. read more

Tracy police towed my vehicle using these guys. It was a motorcycle. They literally towed the vehicle 4 miles. I go to pick it up, its half way in the mud in their not paved dirty facility. It has writings all over it. And the chubby guy that owns the place asked me to pay $800. Its despicable, shady business from this company. With triple A who need you anyways. read more

These guys are awesome. My pickup dropped an axel in an incredibly precarious spot. It was going up a steep grade, on an extremely narrow undivided two lane mountain road, no shoulder, sheer drop, around a blind curve, in a remote location with no cell service. I had to hike/ hitchhike about 12 miles down the mountain just to get cell service. The office person was totally professional, knew where I was from my description, told me what it would cost, and when they would be there. The driver, Armando, was both courteous and friendly. He was also a total pro and had zero issues dealing with getting my truck on the trailer from that terrible spot. He also picked me up from where I'd made it down to for cell service. The price was more than reasonable, my card was accepted right there in his truck from the dealership where he eventually dropped me off, and I recieved an immediate receipt via email and text. All said, I couldn't possibly recommend these guys enough. read more

I've had to use these guys several times and have never had an issue with my Evo being lowered an inch. For the first time recently I dealt with someone from AAA's service that refused to touch my car so I called All-Star because they've helped me in the past. Brian has always been the one to come out and he's great! Friendly guy who, most importantly, has lots of skill getting lowered cars onto the bed. He moves quick but he's careful. That just shows he knows what he's doing. Definitely recommend him and the company. read more

Very friendly staff. The lady was very kind on the phone, she helped me navigate where I was at because I had no idea the driver got there extremely fast the only thing he was missing was a superhero cape towed it to my mechanic Dan @ D&M Automotive in Tracy. Always.... Always... Always... Use ALL STAR TOWING! The guy who showed up on time this morning to tow my most prized possession went above and beyond to ensure my classic car made it to its destination unscathed. Called these guys to tow my custom built truck and the driver showed up promptly 5 minutes before my scheduled time and was extremely cautious on where he hooked up to my components on my truck to make sure nothing was scratched. Not sure why you guys allow your drivers to have guns in their trucks. Completely unsafe. The guy who towed my car the other weekend had a shotgun on the floor in the back. Said he was shooting trap. armando did a very good job! very professional and makes sure that the car is well taken care of!!

I don't understand the good reviews for this company. I called to arrange to pick up my vehicle on 580 on the Altamont Pass, the driver called me, couldn't find me and started yelling at me. That really pissed me off and told him not to find me anymore, that's when he started being nice. I still canceled my service anyways just because of him yelling. They where charging me $175 just to tow me to Manteca. Luckily I called another tracy towing company who charged me $125 plus better customer service. This is real talk, I hope they don't delete this... read more

Great experience with what is ALWAYS a hectic situation. I needed my car towed way out of town (the local VW dealership had closed and I needed my key reprogrammed, not something my in town mechanic could do!) AND I was hoping to hitch a ride since I work in Pleasanton and the dealership is in Dublin. Brian had no problem with that, took great care of my baby (after making fun of how dusty it was) and cracked jokes with me the entire 30 mile trip. Add in the Auto Club membership discount and I wound up paying $15 for the tow. Cannot beat that, and I'll be sure to give them my business again if it comes up (which I hope it won't, of course!). read more

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I called to see if they could tow a car out of my work parking lot, & after waiting 12 minutes on hold the lady on the phone asks me if "there were their signs up in our parking lot". I advised her no and she said, "then we can't tow it" and abruptly placed me BACK on hold. I called back, and said that I thought we were disconnected, & she tells me "like i said we cant tow the car" and I stated well it would be nice if she asked me to hold instead of just clicking the line on me and then she hangs up again!! HORRIBLE Customer Service!!! It would be wise if management would have a conversation with her about customer service... because this woman was awful..... If she can't be polite, then maybe she needs another job. Punk ass bitch. read more

Had a firebird at my grandparents in Tracy. They had moved the car to the backyard and the wheels were so rusted we couldn't move it. We called our insurance to get a tow truck for us. When Brian arrived I was excited because he had a big flat bed. I explained the situation to him and he seemed concerned. The only way to get to the car is to go on a dirt road next to a water trench. He did express much concern that he wouldn't be able to get back there because of the truck size. In the end has was able to get the truck back there, get the car and move the car for us. He was SO sweet and nicest tow truck driver EVER. I would totally recommend this tow company to everyone! Hopefully you'll get Brian cause he'll defiantly get you to laugh. read more

Just wanted to write a review and let everyone know how extremely helpful these guys are. I had gotten a flat on my driver side, and my valve stem was gone...part of my bumper was messed up from hitting a piece of tire in the road I couldn't avoid. My car is about 3-4 inches from the ground, lowered and a diff front bumper from factory on my 2013 Acura TSX. My insurance company called someone for me from Mikes Towing on Scenic, the guy came out and couldn't help me. Didn't try very hard. He didn't have what he needed to tow my car and basically left me there and said I was SOL. I googled and called a few other places who wouldn't help me, and finally after much frustration I called All Star and Aaron was very nice and said he could help me out no problem even though I was a little out of their service range. He did in about 15-20 mins, put my car up on blocks and got it off the ground no probs at all. I was home in time to go to the movies with a friend of mine. I am a very satisfied customer and will call this company first if I ever need help again, and will always recommend them. Thanks for all your help again!!! read more
