Unfortunately for my car, the front bumper came loose on both ends and I was not initially informed of the damage untill i brought it up and not all bolts were torqued properly and were removable by hand. Second time coming here. This year they are under new management. I called around 10am. Carlos tells me they are all booked for an alignment today. 30 min later Carlos calls me back and tells me another customer canceled and if I still needed the alignment to come on in. I showed up. Carlos took all my info and told me the alignment should be done in 45 min. I waited outside. I would say the alignment probably took 15 min. The tech was done and took the car around the block for a road test. The steering wheel is straight and the vehicle goes down the road straight! Very good work and will definitely come back again. I had 4 nails in 1 tire! I couldn't be like a normal person and just have one, right?! I pulled into their lot in hopes they could save me. At first they didn't have just one tire, I own a G35 sports coupe and the tires are usually not stocked or sets of 4 broken. After, explaining my concerns, the manager made the decision to break the set he had. I was extremely happy, I hate tire problems especially when I had to get back on the road and travel another 50 minutes. I had an appointment to bring my car (m235) for a simple muffler delete. I brought my car in at 9:30am on a Tuesday for a 3.5 hour job. After 5.5 hours(2pm) of no call/update. I call them. They said it should be done by 4pm. 4:30 rolls around, I call again.... They said they might have to keep it until tomorrow, they only have two people working, only one side is done. Totally unacceptable I told them. You had my 3.5hour job car for 7 hours now. And you said you had other cars today as well, and might didn't get started until a little while ago. Not my problem, there's now fucking way an axel back muffler delete takes OVER 7 hours even with them welding a Y pipe. Woulda cost me less to buy a vrsf muffler delete and do this in my driveway At this point. As I'm writing this (7.5 hour mark) they called and said they won't be done and they don't know why I was scheduled for this day/time. And offered to get me an Uber home(Modesto) I told them I want my price reduced. How did they think a 48$ Uber is retribution for missing their mark over 4 hours and wasting a persons entire day. So they took off 190$ off of my 486$ job. Get your shit together. There's a reason there's more bad reviews than good for this place I guess. read more

Took my truck there for a lift kit install, lift was installed but the steering shaft extension wasn't properly installed so my steering was tight they wanted to double charge me for labor to fix what should have been a one time install what a joke, however one of my brand new stock Chevy rims was curbed so bad the rim is garbage Pat played the stupid card, tells me send me a pic of it. Im going straight to the point.. if you're a Female , do not go into Tracy Muffler And Auto by yourself. You will get sexually talked about behind your back (in Spanish, if that even matters). This morning I came to pick up my husbands truck (he's away for work) and I was patiently waiting to pay , until I kept over hearing this guy speaking pretty out loud about me. There was no doubt he was speaking about me because he was staring at me and kept saying "she". Once I confronted him , he had the audacity to say "Hola amor" which translates to Hello Love; you can hear it in the video. That's when I put the camera in his face and he tried to hide. All this in front of the owner, and all he had to say was "I know I know, I'm sorry" clearly he knows about his behavior. I was so glad I started recording the moment I stepped into this shop. Because I absolutely HATE going on my own for this exact reason. As I left extremely angrily and shaking, I over looked the video and i was shocked to see him clearly coming out the shop and staring me down and going back to talk About me. The workers were also very professional and helpful in answering my questions regarding the tire changes. Prices were very reasonable compared to other places I've tried in the past. I didn't need AAA, they were right across the corner, and they helped me with whatever I needed to be helped with. Had an appointment with this shop and had to immediately cancel and walk out. Although I did see multiple signs advising proper distancing and face masks, NONE of the employees were following this. I had two employees that walked within two feet of me. None of the customers surrounding the store were made to wear masks either. They replaced mine and left my wires hanging underneath my car so not even two months later I drove up to Reno from Tracy and my car got stuck on donner pass in the middle of the night while it was snowing. I could have died. My car literally went out while I'm on the freeway and it's because they didn't clip my wires back up. I talked to the owner and showed him the mistake they made and they didn't care at all and didn't reimburse me or anything. After $2000 I paid them, they wouldn't reimburse me $385 for this whole mess afterward that could have been so much more. read more

Friendly people, but messed up my exhaust doing a resonator delete. Welds looked messy and there was a bad rattling noise after getting my car back. Looked and found that they snapped a weld on my heat shield. Had to weld it back together. Rattling sound is gone and the exhaust sounds better, but won't be going back. read more

This business advertises on Craigslist that they do suspension work, raising and lowering. I called and gave very specific information on vehicle, part number of the item I wanted installed and the service I wanted done, to install a C-notch on my very common truck. I wanted it welded in instead of bolted so he told me the welder was there Tuesday through Friday, I made an appointment for Thursday. I drove to the business and arrived at around 8:45am. About an hour later the guy behind the desk comes and tells me it will be longer than anticipated and they would have to take the bed off. I have installed some c-notches before and had researched how this specific notch is installed. The only reason I'm not doing it myself is due to back issues. I informed him that you don't have to remove it and he came back with it's in the instructions for this C-notch. When I went to see what "instructions" he was talking about I found the welder watching a YouTube video on how to install one on a completely different year. I brought the welder to the truck and showed him that you didn't need to remove the bed and held the part up to the outside of the frame as it would be mounted to which he replied that the notch mounted on the inside of the frame. Absolutely wrong. I told him he was scaring me and to put the wheels back on so I could leave. If I had left while they installed it they would have ruined my truck. Absolutely clueless.
