Follow up review after my initial review of the installation. Had my first service call after the installation about 3 years ago. Blower motor committed suicide as it is very unusual for a blower motor to die prematurely. We dont use the fan/AC/heat that often. Regardless, I called and requested a tech. The technician, Mathew, got right to work, clearly explained what he was checking, and quickly identified the problem of low refrigerant due to small leaks at a valve near the evaporator coil inside the house. He showed me the problem, walked me through the recommended repair, and provided a reasonable estimate. Mathew had my unit back up and running the very next day. My A/C shut down on one of the hottest days of summer. Associated's technician, Victor, showed up the next day, on time, and proceeded to troubleshoot the problem. It was a leaking coil, and Victor offered me several options; I chose to replace the entire system. Julian Torres and Jesus Barerra showed up early the next day and proceeded with the removal of the old system. They took care to put on booties over their boots whenever they entered the house, and they were careful to put down drop cloths wherever they would be working. They were both delightful and professional, keeping me up to date with their progress throughout the day. They worked right through the day and only stopped for the donuts and drinks we offered them. They finished up the job, and my house was restored to a very comfortable temperature in no time at all. I love this Lennox air conditioner. I didn't really care for the technician that went. His name is Victor Salazar. The issue with my service request was more maintenance related from what he poorly explained. He came off condescending and argumentative while explaining the process and stated that I should know about the regular maintenance that's required. Well, I didn't know because It wasn't mentioned before. I don't recall being offered a membership for regular maintenance from them. He said if I had the membership it would be cheaper and I asked if I could join the membership so I could save money and he said no. It felt like they're just trying to charge as much as possible, not really considering the customer. I told him to do the service, even though it felt extremely overpriced because I wanted the AC unit to work as it has been 90°+ and didn't want to wait longer. I was disappointed with the customer service and would look elsewhere if you're not wanting to pay an arm and a leg for service. read more

Before wrapping up he verified everything functioned correctly and left us completely satisfied with the service. We had no issues renewing our maintenance agreement with AH&A, and because we have a service agreement with them, we received a discount on parts, so it is good value for money.
