I got take out with friends who really like the food. It was my first time there. We were there about 4 pm & stated we would like to look at the menu & place a take order. Their menu had the typical dishes you see at Chinese & Asian restaurants. We let the hostess know we were ready to order, we had been sitting at the bar, she asked us to come down to the cashier station to order. A bit strange. I ordered Generals Shrimp & crab Rangoon. The Rangoon is one of the best. My General Shrimp had large shrimp & lots of vegetables. I felt the vegetables were way over cooked. I have eaten here several times and am always impressed. They are friendly and fast. The food is consistently delicious, and the menu has just enough variety. The food was good but the service wasn't too great. I thought the lady that served us had an okay attitude until she snatched the menu from my friends hand. I mean I don't really care if you don't talk to us in a friendly manner but you shouldn't take something forcefully from someone, especially if it's a customer. The seats for the booth were also not a great quality and I felt like they were unstable and wobbly. What a shame... This place has gone downhill over the years. It used to be good about 6 years ago when Amy was working as head waitress ...she was friendly and helpful and always gave great menu suggestions. Amy greeted us at the door with a smile and always made sure we felt important and she had perfect customer service! Since Amy left.. we have been back many times...and have never received the same quality service. The servers are not trained, not friendly, not helpful or patient. I recently stopped in a few days with work colleagues.... everyone at the front counter looked angry as we entered and our server was in a horrible mood! We hadn't even finished ordering.... And our server was already walking away...strike that...running away. She never check on us and we all needed refills. They gave me the wrong order - when I said something...the server barked at me. The new owners should sell to someone who actually wants to run a happy restaurant. I work in customer service side myself and treating everyone like family. Dong Po is up there too, but I've done multiple back to back tests over consecutive days, and at least when it comes to General Tso's chicken, it's not even close. The waiters/host are so sweet and nice. *If you do call for delivery, it has to be 20$ or more. The portions for delivery are huge so it's kind of worth it. *They'll usually deliver 30-45 minutes after your call. This is our family's favorite restaurant. Do not believe what these other reviews have said. The service is amazing. They remember your orders and treat you great. They always are happy. The food is the best. Our family is not the only one that goes there on a regular basis. We have many friends who go every week. Their Chinese is particularly good. It is a fairly new restaurant and it is the best Chinese we have ever had and we have been to many of the top rated Chinese restaurants around the U.S. This is a MUST-stop restaurant. Stopped in last night to order. Like other reviews, staff was not friendly and immediately walked away from me to the back. While I was waiting to order, another woman walked in, walked right in front of me and placed her order, which the staff person took without blinking an eye. When I questioned her, her reply was, "well she comes here all the time. You didn't know what you wanted, she did." When I said something to the line-butter, her response was, "If you're that stupid that you don't know how to order then that's not my problem." Just moved up here from Milwaukee, and I have ordered from here 3 times in the last month! It is delicious. I recommend the fried rice and lo main for sure, and the crab ragoons are unspeakably good. I have yet to find which main course is my favorite, but the chicken teriyaki, and sweet and sour chicken have been different than what I typically would expect yet still very good! My wife and myself tried Asian Thai last night. She ordered Honey Garlic Chicken and I ordered Generals Chicken and we got a order of crab rangoon to share. The crab rangoons were awesome, but the Honey Garlic Chicken seemed bland and the Generals Chicken had no spice to it at all. The quality of the chicken in both dishes was really good though, some of the best in the area. The waitress was really good and attentive at first but the further we got into our visit the less we saw her. After we were done eating we waited about 15 minutes before she came over and asked us if we wanted boxes and our check. I will give them another try, it seemed like a nice restaurant that perhaps was having an off day. read more

This is the place we order from quite regularly (like once a month or more). They are usually pretty fast with delivery and almost always consistent. There has been a couple times where the food wasn't as good as past orders but it's usually redeemed the next time we order. I love the spring rolls, hot and sour soup, beef with mixed vegetables and the pork fried rice is awesome! Only 2 things I've had so far that I can not recommend chicken with mixed veggies is completely flavorless and the egg foo young has got to be the worst I've ever had. Placed an order online and didn't receive a pick up time along with it, all it said was PickUp: ASAP. We left and it was about a 15 minute drive and ended up waiting for our food. It definitely was not ready "ASAP." When the food was ready, we had major issues with the payment. We attempted to pay with a debit card and the cashier tried running it twice saying it wasn't working. We then looked at our bank account and saw two charges totaling $80+ pending in our account, but were told we needed to provide another form of payment. We are now left with waiting to see if the charges process or not, but in the mean time have paid $120 for one $40 order. Will NEVER go back to this horrific establishment. And can't forget that the food was AWFUL! No flavor...one dish was supposed to be spicy and had no flavor at all. read more
