This place is soooo good! Food was prepared quickly and with super fresh ingredients. We had the orange chicken, Mongolian beef, pineapple fried rice, and Panang curry. The heat at level 3 on the first dishes was perfect. Level 4 on the curry was delicious but just a tad spicier than we're used to. For appetizers, we got the cream cheese wontons and coconut shrimp. The food is plentiful and for three adults, it was enough to have lunch or dinner for the next couple of days. The best part, the bakery side. OMG just two words...samoa donut! The place is clean, and stylish inside and the people are super nice and friendly. Had a hiccup with Uber eats who mysteriously cancelled the order (we apparently weren't the first tonight that had this happen), so the restaurant was kind enough to give us a discount. This is our third time visiting, and it has not disappointed. The only thing I would watch out for is the "spicy level". I got a 4 twice and only the first time it was actually comfortable eaten. They don't have consistency in their spicy level. I would have thought that having a 1-10 scale would signify they have a measurement of some sort but it doesn't appear that they do. It may be up to the cook's persprcrive. The second was WAYYY to spicy. So this third time I went for a 1. The taste is still pretty good. read more

As I am recuperating from a full knee replacement, I'm having the opportunity to order more take-away. As such, I decided to try our newest Asian food eatery. First the delivery, through Grubhub was earlier than estimated - all good. The packaging was great - Thai Lime ice tea came with a cup of ice, with the tea in a separate cup - good thinking - also separate cup holder. The tea was delicious - tart and refreshing. The meal consisted of: Yellow Curry (5 level) and pot stickers. This meal was amazingly good. Excellent spices, veg and chicken (additional add) - perfect rice - fluffy, not too much or too little. The potstickers were delicious with a superb soy vinegar sauce for dipping. The potstickers were smaller than what Leela Thai offers (equally good and slightly different sauce - Panang curry). Overall, very happy with Asian Kitchen and will be ordering again. read more

In my opinion, the best Thai place in Santee! Workers are friendly, and give such a family atmosphere. Yellow curry and chicken pad Thai are my faves. Not to mention, they literally have the best Thai iced tea. HIGHLY recommend the Thai iced tea. Don't let their spice levels fool you, it's legit. We were craving Burmese food but best we could find in east county was this new little place in Santee. My sister and niece were visiting so we ordered quite a bit of food and we were very pleased. The massaman curry was flavorful. We ordered with tofu, cooked just right. The Cambodian salad, amazing flavors, generous ingredients and fresh. Papaya salad was also on point, had fresh shrimp in it too. My niece got the beef broccoli and she really enjoyed. I got pad Thai with tofu, very good too. We also got an order of fried rice on the house. Very friendly service over the phone. We ordered to pick up and was ready on time. Adorable people and place. Prices and portions good. I had donuts and a breakfast sandwich from this location prior to them opening the Asian Kitchen side of things. The donuts and breakfast sandwich were really good. I've tried the Asian Kitchen part a few times and have not been impressed with the food but I know others who love it. I feel like their "Hot & Sour" soup is actually egg flower soup with vinegar. I still eat it when others order from here because I do like egg flower soup, but if we're comparing apples to apples, I have other locations I'd choose. read more

Fantastic! We got the kung paid chicken (level 3 spicy), chicken chow mein, and the cream cheese wontons. Everything was fresh and light tasting instead of greasy like some other Asian restaurants.
