    14. Shrimp Soup
    Uginea P.

First time here, I am always looking for a good shrimp pho and I think I found it in East County. The shrimp came with the tails are already off, which was nice. The noodles were fresh. The broth was delicious. Cannot complain. The service was good, and although I got this food to go, the restaurant was clean.

This has been the go to spot for the past few years. I haven't found a vietnamese spot around town that i like better than this place. I like Phở Superbowl

Didn't know they were doing take out and delivery only. Went with a simple Pho with brisket and rare beef without the cilantro. The broth wasn't greasy, and was very smooth. They had an ample amount of beef and there was a lemon instead of a lime in the to-go box. Would love to go back when they allow dining in as always with to-go items the noodles stick together like glue without the broth.

A couple pieces of meat. So sad.

Im NEVER returning to this Pho location again, that is Pho SuperBowl. If you know what's good for you and your pockets, DO NOT come here. This is a scam and sad of a place and business. The last time we came here, their broth and meat was so salty and when we asked for a refund the guy over the phone shook his hands on us and didn't give us anything. Not even a replacement for the food. Today, we order the Raw steak pho bowl and when we arrive home, there is ONE thinly sliced piece of meat. LITERALLY so thin, and ONLY ONE piece. With a quarter of a lemon, and their broth smelling weird.. and adding the lemon made it smell even worse. I call the place very frustrated and he says we can bring the order back and he can make it again for us, and I repeat myself and say that we're already home and I'll just have someone from uber pick it up. He says over the phone to me that it's supposed to include 10 to 15 pieces of meat, WHICH IT LITERALLY NEVER DOES. What you see in the picture I uploaded is what they gave us. I was expecting a big bag with the broth, meat, and everything but NO. I paid $7 for an uber pickup to get a couple pieces of meat. I paid $21 dollars total for Pho ($15 ALONE FOR PHO) that was terrible and even their spring rolls, they cut up shrimp and place it inside, the shrimps aren't EVEN WHOLE!! The peanut sauce that came with the shrimp didn't taste good either. The pho doesn't even come pre made, they give you the ingredients to dump the broth on, it's outrageous! They are stingy with their food, the food isn't even good and it's inconsistent, and you can trust me when I say I'm NEVERR returning.

The service was excellent the moment we walked in and continued all the way until we left. The entire floor staff were friendly, attentive, and incredibly hardworking--especially as the dinner rush picked up. You could really see them hustling, but they never missed a beat. The food was just as impressive as the service. We started with the shrimp and beef spring rolls with fish sauce, which are always a must for us. For our mains, we ordered a variety of rice platter dishes including grilled shrimp, BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, egg rolls, and a BBQ beef banh mi sandwich--everything was flavorful and satisfying. One thing that really stood out was our waiter, who memorized our entire order without writing anything down--very impressive! I also placed a to-go order for the #99 platter, and everything came out quickly and accurately. We were in and out in under an hour and a half, even during peak dinner time. When the service is exceptional everything else follows! Overall, a fantastic dining experience with great food and exceptional service!!!!

Then as I'm watching them work, the older guy is preparing the tins with spoons and places his fingers on the spoons and the sauce plates. As I'm watching him a young kid grabs a bowl to bring to a customer next to us and he uses his bare hand to wipe out the bowl, obviously seeing something in the bowl. And hands it to the customer. The health and safety board needs to indirect this place. The tables were wiped but you could still see grease remnants from left over food on the table. The lack of sanitary practices gets an " F" rating. It is obvious no one has a food handlers certificate. One plate came out and had to wait over 5 min for next plate to Come out. If you keep your eyes closed and don't watch what they are doing here, you probably think their food is great. We won't ever come here again.

We were seated along the wall which had booth seating, which I prefer. For drinks I ordered a Thai tea no boba and the hubs a coke. We order the following items for dinner: Appetizers - - Crispy egg rolls - with pork (4 pieces) - served with veggies and fish sauce, these were tasty. - Salt pepper chicken wings - (8 pieces) they were a tad over fried but flavor was good. - Spring rolls - (2 pieces) with pork and shrimp, we ordered these Togo. Hubs enjoyed these for a late evening snack. Entrees - - Combination fried rice - chicken, shrimp and cha siu (Chinese bbq pork) I liked the flavoring of the fried rice - it was not bland, but I did mix in a tiny bit of hoisin sauce. - Pho rare steak - overloaded with green onions and cilantro. We always order pho but I really wasn't feeling it that evening, so it was all the hubs. If you love tons of green onions and cilantro, get it! The broth had a really strong flavoring of the cilantro. Overall dinner was fairly good. Seemed like there were regular customers that visited often. Staff were super nice and friendly. Parking lot was not packed at all. If in the area, I'd visit again. 2026: 7

The kind that makes a man question his place in the universe. Then the bowl arrived -- steaming, aromatic, confident. And just like that, order was restored. The broth? Deep. Rich. Complex. It has clearly lived a full life and has stories to tell. One sip and I knew: this broth did not come here to mess around. It came here to dominate. Balanced spices, silky depth, and warmth that hugged my soul like a cashmere robe. The noodles were perfectly tender, the meat was sliced with the precision of a seasoned anchorman's mustache trim, and the herbs were so fresh I half-expected them to start doing yoga on the table. Every bite was a symphony. Every slurp -- and yes, I slurped proudly -- was a declaration of joy. I briefly considered standing up, placing my hand over my heart, and saluting the kitchen. The atmosphere? Inviting. The service? Smooth and dependable, like a well-delivered evening broadcast. I felt safe. I felt seen. I felt nourished. I left full, happy, and slightly emotional. I may have whispered, "I love you" to the bowl. No regrets. If you enjoy pho -- or food in general -- do yourself a favor and come here. They only serve pho and drinks, no other Vietnamese food or appetizers. I usually don't care about good service at these kind of inexpensive Asian restaurants, but truly they are next level in rushing you even if they're not busy. They ask incessantly from the moment you walk in if you're ready to order. They do, however, get you your order incredibly quickly. Other random service quirks include reaching over you to grab sauce bottles from the table, giving attitude after forgetting to bring XYZ and being asked for it. They're a little better when you ask in Vietnamese for some reason but not by much.
