We indulged in some egg rolls to start: crispy rice paper skin couching ground pork, cellophane noodles, and vegetables, all seasoned to perfection. The pho came with rich, flavorful broth, rice noodles, beef meatballs, sliced steak, and beef tendon with Thai basil, Hmong beans, Jalapeños and lime on the side. We added a little Sri Racha and the chili oil was hot! Overall, it was a very satisfying dish. We have also been to nearby Vietnamese House, where the broth has a touch more star anise, where MT had the subtler flavor of fennel bulb.
