We had this during a my visit to see family and San Antonio and thoroughly enjoyed it! I loved the shrimp dish and my parents were obsessed with the crispy beef dish. We ordered it to go, but they said the staff there was extremely friendly and the place itself seemed adorable.

Great lunch prices $9.99 (Jan 2026). Perfect amount of food for lunch. Freshly made to order. Clean atmosphere.

Our new favorite restaurant! Every single thing is incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection! Staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. They keep it very clean and organized. We've decided that we will be here once a week. It's just that good!!!

This little unassuming place is amazing! It's always so clean and the owner is so incredibly sweet. You can tell they put a ton of TLC into everything they do. The food is fantastic. A+++++ Alot of times with Chinese food you feel that hungover ICK feeling after but not here. It's always so satisfying and delish. My favorite is broccoli beef. You should give it a try. :)))

Kimchee fried rice

My first of many future visits to Asian Bite was amazing. The service was super friendly, and the food came out fast as it was ready. I had the kimchee fried rice with chicken and it was full of flavor. Even my sons, who don't eat kimchee, loved my rice and were stealing spoonfuls of it. We also had the fried gyoza, and it was delicious and crispy. Hands down, when it comes to fried gyoza, it was the crispiest I've had which I appreciate because fried gyoza other places can still be a not so fried. I am already looking forward to coming back here.

For tonight's Daddy-Daughter dinner, we headed to @asianbitetx. I discovered that Lee, the previous owner whom we met, sold the business to Anne. Anne is originally from Jakarta, Indonesia. Dad and I started with Egg Drop Soup and complimentary steamed Gyoza. Dad had Minute Maid Lemonade, and I had the Mango Cream Soda. Then we shared the Honey Glaze Beef and Thai Fried Rice without curry powder. All the food was really flavorful. It was good to see many stop by to get food to go. Support this woman-owned business!

Sesame chicken with steamed rice.

I found this off of the beaten path because it has such great reviews. I wasn't sure what to expect when I went in and saw the side table full of all condiments and utensils. Ordering is done at the counter and it is pretty straightforward off of the menu. I got the sesame chicken. The food was made with fresh ingredients and was extremely tasty and came with a delicious veggie spring roll. All of their beverages are bottled or canned and everything besides the plates is meant to be thrown away. There isn't a lot of actual "service" per se, but the staff was very nice and the food was very good. The restaurant has a bit of an industrial feel with some fun decoration that felt like it was meant to appeal to kiddos. I just found it to be a lot of waste with the utensils, napkins, sauce wrappers, cup, and tea bottle all going to the trash. I recommend their food and would definitely dine there again.

Honey Glazed Beef

Oh how this little place surprised me! I've struggled to find good Asian food for YEARS in San Antonio. First off, I drive by it every day and never saw it due to the location so when I was looking for a new Asian restaurant to try I was shocked to find out where it was located. We had General Tso Chicken, Honey Glazed Beef and Chicken Lo Mein. I love the amount of sauce they put on their dishes and all three items were delicious. We received complementary Gyoza which was great as well. I had a Milk Tea that was yummy and our little girl loved it. The interior is underwhelming and small but don't let it fool you, this is a full fledged restaurant. Service was good & friendly. We will be going back soon.

Thai Basil Chicken- spicy and flavorful!
Sam O.

Found this place at the corner of a strip mall and decided to give it a try. Couldn't decide what to get so the person behind the counter recommended the Thai chicken basil for me and the general Tso for my DH. The food arrived fresh and hot, and perhaps a bit spicier than anticipated (he did ask us if we liked spicy and we said yes, so not sure if extra Thai chilies were added or if that was the standard). If you don't mind a little bit of watery eyes and runny nose, you'll be fine. The chicken wings appetizer was nice and crispy with a good size on the wings. The chicken egg rolls were also good. Soft drinks were bottled, not from a fountain. The place was busy and clean, which can be a challenge when there's only one visible worker, so kudos for that! Looking forward to trying other menu items!

Egg roll app and tempura shrimp. Love the crunch!

Super nice people here. Very helpful and the food is always hot and fresh! Been here a few times and have had the orange chicken with noodles and the yakisoba with chicken. The place is cute and colorful and very comfortable. You order at the counter but they bring your food to the table.

A few years ago it was Pho. So, I do have a favorite, but I still need to try new places. Well, I am, & this place is pretty phenomenal. The inside is so sweet & simple. You feel real comfortable & peaceful being in there I found them just by driving through the parking lot looking for Holy Pops for a Yelp Elite event. I wanted to try them out, & I'm so happy I did. They exceed my expectations. I walked in & was greeted by one of the waitresses, I let her know it would be a to go order, but I've never been there. She explained how things could be ordered. Steamed vs fried, for example. I regret not snapping photos of the menu, but they have one online. For that matter my food was consumed before a single photo was taken. (That's how you know it's good! At least with me! ) I went with an order of pan fried dumplings, an order of pan fried pork bao, & one order steamed pork bao. Do not be in a rush when you come. Everything is made fresh. You want it to be. Oh my goodness. These bao are amazing. The dough is the perfect thickness, IMO. The meatball inside though mine were a little larger than a golf ball. Juicy, flavorful & couldn't get enough. Made me want a dozen!. Just don't have the stomach to eat that many. Means I'll have to make more trips. The dumplings, pan fried - were so delicious. Again, piping hot! I'd say the little meatball was about half the size of the bao one. I ordered the shrimp, pork & lamb dumplings (I think. ) They had shrimp in them though. And they were amazing Okay, so me saying all my food was piping hot - here's the thing - this place is on Stone Oak, I live in the Brooks City Base area, it was still piping hot when I got home. Y'all know the traffic in this city right now! Don't waste anymore time. Go check them out. Wanna know about the staff? I'll continue! So, my order took about 25 minutes. Okay I ordered a lot, the place was full also, & again everything is made fresh. Oh! Also, you can watch them make it all. The two waitresses & the waiter checked on me often, - (when I came in. I sit in my car most of the time & inform them. Then, I just come sit down.) They apologized & I explained I make this food, I understand & am happy to wait, just means it'll be good. My friend ordered the lamb soup and lamp dumplings, which I was scared to try due to past experiences. Surprisingly, lamb dumplings was a huge hit! I do say, their noodles, although the menu says wide, they are pretty medium sized thickness. For a Saturday lunch time, it wasn't super busy and the service was on par.

I ordered the crispy dumplings (pork) and spring rolls as appetizers, and the spicy noodle soup as my entree. My server came to take my order, and brought me the items as they were ready. The entree came out before the appetizers. The spicy noodle soup was spicy (as named) and it was good, but it was incredibly oily and the noodles were overcooked, so I didn't eat much of it. I would definitely recommend ordering this with rice, or taking it home and making your own. The dumplings and spring rolls were crispy, but nothing special. I did like the duck sauce they had -- I would have asked my server for more of it, but she was busy in the back or something, not sure. I wish she would've checked in on me a bit more during the visit so I could have gotten more napkins and sauce. The service was alright. I wish I would've gotten checked on a little bit more, but she was nice and helped me pack my noodles to go. Overall, this spot wasn't terrible, but if I had to choose, I'd probably try another place.

I ordered the Hakata Ramen and a Dr Pepper (after my friend and I had coffee at Indy next door). The six minute egg is probably my favorite part. No wait, it's the broth. Or is it the noodles? Ugh, it's all great. The egg was delicious. Jammy yolk. The noodles were springy and chewy. The broth was rich and unctuous. The pork was soft and flavorful. Even when I took the leftovers home, it was still fantastic. The steam facial I received provided much relief from my mountain cedar allergies. There will be a huge ramen-bowl shaped hole in my heart and San Antonio's heart once Noodle Tree closes. They have the best ramen in the city and ramen shops have some incredibly large shoes to fill. We did have to wait a bit for tables to be pushed together and gotten ready for us but it was less than 10 minutes. We were immediately seated after this was done and the vibes immediately gave off, fast but fresh. We all placed our drink orders almost as soon as we were given menus and our drinks were immediately brought to us within 5 minutes (there was a large group of 8 of us). We placed a large sharable order for the entire table along with our main entrees. There is a notation on the menu stipulating the wait time on the dumplings being a minimum of 15 minutes which was perfectly fine with us all seeing as we could clearly see the dumplings being made fresh from the kitchen from where we were seated (the closest table to the kitchen). Our waitress was extremely patient with us, extremely knowledgeable of the entire menu, AND extremely willing to help us when needed. The dumplings, regardless of which you order- in which WAY they're cooked-are absolutely amazing. Flavorful and filled with juice. AND THOSE AREN'T even the soup dumplings! The soup dumplings (we ordered 3 orders during the sit down meal and ordered 2 to go) were positively amazingly flavored. Well balanced in their taste and was such a delight to eat. Our main dishes came shortly after the dumplings arrived. There were 6 adults and 2 children for this meal. We each ordered our own dishes and shared them amongst each other. One of the dishes ordered was pork belly ramen with no cilantro. As soon as it arrived, although to my pallet, it was beautifully balanced and rich in flavor, the adult whom ordered it did not like it and sent it back to the kitchen. The waitress asked why the food was being sent back to which the response was simply just a taste issue. It was replaced with an order of soup dumplings and the cost of the pork belly was removed from the bill (they did not have to do so but it was absolutely amazing that they did do this). Overall, the food, the experience, and the staff were amazing. We did order 5 dishes fresh to go and they did not disappoint. 1000/1000 will be coming back here again.
