Not terrible. Arrived at 1150, doors locked yet place opens at 1130. Peeked into windows and caught waitress attention. She did not know door was locked. I wonder how many customers pulled the locked door and left? Lunch special. Soup average/anywhere egg drop. Spring/egg roll full of oil and not much else. Rangoon very good and pleasantly sweet. Kung Pao chicken made with too-chopped chicken, mild red peppers, green squash, and very few peanuts, served quite soupy, swimming in a dark sweet and smoky sauce. Again, not terrible. The food was not flavorful even though the dishes were saucy.. whatever oil they use leaves an aftertaste that is not good. Vegetables were not crisp and fresh and very minimal. The chicken in the general sao was in teeny tiny shreds. Our server was great. The restaurant was clean. We were the only ones there at 12:30 lunchtime. read more

This little unassuming place is amazing! It's always so clean and the owner is so incredibly sweet. You can tell they put a ton of TLC into everything they do. The food is fantastic. My first of many future visits to Asian Bite was amazing. The service was super friendly, and the food came out fast as it was ready. I had the kimchee fried rice with chicken and it was full of flavor. Even my sons, who don't eat kimchee, loved my rice and were stealing spoonfuls of it. We also had the fried gyoza, and it was delicious and crispy. Hands down, when it comes to fried gyoza, it was the crispiest I've had which I appreciate because fried gyoza other places can still be a not so fried. I found this off of the beaten path because it has such great reviews. I wasn't sure what to expect when I went in and saw the side table full of all condiments and utensils. Ordering is done at the counter and it is pretty straightforward off of the menu. I got the sesame chicken. The food was made with fresh ingredients and was extremely tasty and came with a delicious veggie spring roll. All of their beverages are bottled or canned and everything besides the plates is meant to be thrown away. There isn't a lot of actual "service" per se, but the staff was very nice and the food was very good. The restaurant has a bit of an industrial feel with some fun decoration that felt like it was meant to appeal to kiddos. I just found it to be a lot of waste with the utensils, napkins, sauce wrappers, cup, and tea bottle all going to the trash. I recommend their food and would definitely dine there again. read more

Dad and I started with Egg Drop Soup and complimentary steamed Gyoza. Dad had Minute Maid Lemonade, and I had the Mango Cream Soda. Then we shared the Honey Glaze Beef and Thai Fried Rice without curry powder. All the food was really flavorful. It was good to see many stop by to get food to go. Oh how this little place surprised me! I've struggled to find good Asian food for YEARS in San Antonio. First off, I drive by it every day and never saw it due to the location so when I was looking for a new Asian restaurant to try I was shocked to find out where it was located. We had General Tso Chicken, Honey Glazed Beef and Chicken Lo Mein. I love the amount of sauce they put on their dishes and all three items were delicious. We received complementary Gyoza which was great as well. I had a Milk Tea that was yummy and our little girl loved it. The interior is underwhelming and small but don't let it fool you, this is a full fledged restaurant. Service was good & friendly. We will be going back soon. read more

Found this place at the corner of a strip mall and decided to give it a try. Couldn't decide what to get so the person behind the counter recommended the Thai chicken basil for me and the general Tso for my DH. The food arrived fresh and hot, and perhaps a bit spicier than anticipated (he did ask us if we liked spicy and we said yes, so not sure if extra Thai chilies were added or if that was the standard). If you don't mind a little bit of watery eyes and runny nose, you'll be fine. The chicken wings appetizer was nice and crispy with a good size on the wings. The chicken egg rolls were also good. Soft drinks were bottled, not from a fountain. The place was busy and clean, which can be a challenge when there's only one visible worker, so kudos for that! Every time we pick up food (which happens to coincide with the frequency they send coupons...sign up for the email list and get coupons regularly) they outdo themselves with friendly service and delicious food! We were looking to order some dishes they do not offer on the menu (teriyaki chicken, triple delight). Fortunately for us, the owner happened to be there when we called. Not only did he make our oddball request for all 3 proteins in one dish a reality, but it was remarkably delicious honey style! (I've never had honey beef before, but it's going into the rotation from now on!). We always take our order to go, but it's so cozy and inviting inside the restaurant. The moment I saw this month's special on their Facebook page (SERIOUSLY: FOLLOW THEM for some awesome deals!), I knew it was a perfect night to order takeout. Loaded the car with children, completed the Costco shopping for the week, then drive over to place an order to take home. I always order their Sichuan Wings, but I love trying new items on their menu each time. Hubby loves the chicken lo mein. Oldest child goes for the broccoli beef, middle child shoots for orange chicken. This time around, I threw in crispy brussel sprouts and the Thai pineapple fried rice with shrimp. I'll make the point of mentioning that I am Asian and a connoisseur of authentic Asian foods, so I am very well aware of the fact that this place is Asian FUSION. I mean, c'mon... the menu has Chinese, Korean, and Thai foods! With that being said, the Thai fried rice was not an authentic Thai dish, but rather a Thai-inspired dish. There was curry seasoning involved and it tasted awesome! There was plenty of shrimp, and I found myself a bit sad that there was more shrimp than pineapple in the pineapple fried rice (I'm weird, I know). Ordered Asian Bite on GrubHub, first time trying it out. Very well packaged, large portions, utensils and plenty of duck and soy sauce provided. The "large" portion of the entrees is probably enough for two people. Great egg drop soup, sesame balls were perfect. This place is average at best something was definitely off about the beef and chicken the chicken tasted like Walmart meat that front lady was super nice nothing wrong with customer service but I think for around this area there is just not much around so people think this is delicious which is concerning a bit because that shows me they never had great quality food read more
