My first visit to this restaurant. I was welcomed in as soon as I entered the establishment that's a plus for me. A smile and willingness to assist. I decided to order out however the restaurant is very clean with perfect lighting. I ordered the firecracker shrimp with fried rice. Very tasty. I especially loved the rice it is loaded with fresh vegetables. My granddaughter ordered the coconut chicken with noodles she dove in before I could get a photo. Participated in the Texas Grandparents Raising Grandchildren event on 9/21/26 at this location, Pei Wei Northwoods location. Pei Wei Northwoods would donate 25% of all sales from guests who show the fundraiser image to support the charity organization. There were little flyers in the checkout counter showing the fundraising event in case walk-ins wanted to participate. I decided to order the Thai Coconut Curry Chicken with Brown Rice. I was able to order at the counter to go vs. sit-down. There were a few people inside including a group of women celebrating a birthday. They seemed to be having fun and even decorated their booth with balloons. I took the entree home to eat later as I had errands to do. The dish was so yummy with the Thai Basil, crunchy red peppers and broccoli, tasty sauce, tender chicken breast and just a little kick in the sauce. I forgot to tell them to make it Mild but it was fine as long as I had rice on the side and Coconut Water on hand to wash it down. There was even a little sweetness to the sauce which made it nice to counter the spice. I noticed it wasn't salty either so I could add to it on my own. Tonight, we headed to Pei Wei for dinner. The Feast option caught our eye, which gives us variety and plenty of food to eat. We chose the Lettuce Wrap and 3 entrees: Honey Seared Chicken, Grilled Bourbon Chicken, and Orange Chicken. We got a mix of brown and steamed rice. The pumpkin spice donuts were good. I ordered online for a pick up order for my work. I placed my order for 15 Teriyaki Chickens and 16 egg rolls. The food was hot and fresh! When I arrived the restaurant was open and just getting busy. The manager, verified my order and helped me to the car with the entries. First time visiting any Pei Wei & Ordered Firecracker chicken and lettuce wrap with a drink. The serve was very nice and told her it was my first time. She took the time and explained most of their famous menu and decided on the above food. Food was hot and delicious! Server was very attentive and often clean tables as soon as customers left. The place looks very clean and plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate any size party. The guys in the kitchen (see photo), can be seeing cooking/hearing your food so they aren't hiding behind a wall or anything. I like this because I can see what they are doing before getting my meal. My husband and I both had the feasts so we could have leftovers. I got the Bourbon chicken and Sesame chicken and my husband got the spicy Gen. Tso's. Both feasts were delicious. Even the broccoli in the meal was quite tasty and not tough as they can be sometimes. The crab macaroons and the donuts with icing in a cup rounded out our feasts and they also were pretty good. First time here. Should have read reviews first. Tax on non alcoholic beverage.....this was a separate line item .21cents on top of a $2.79 beverage that was a small/med cup. So they are grabbing for every penny, as I have not seen this anywhere else, ever. I also ordered bourbon chicken, fried rice, and crab wontons (4)pc. Wontons we're blan. No cream cheese? No seasoning inside? Could barely tell it was crab. The fried rice which I paid $2.19 to upgrade from white rice was floating in the bourbon sauce. So and can't even tell you if it was any good. I've been to the Huebner restaurant, but since it closed down, I drove to this location to pick up a dish to go. I chose the Spicy Drunken Noodles. I always prefer spicy food, but this dish was way TOO spicy! I only ate about half of it, but did not enjoy it at all. I was pretty disappointed because I drove out of my way to get my Asian food at Pei Wei. UPDATE: I called and talked to the Mgr. and she was very pleasant and offered to make me another dish. I went back today and took back the previous dish and ordered the Chicken Teriyaki with fried rice which was really good.
