Small cafe in north providence that serves crepes, waffles, smoothies , and a small grill menu.

Hot chocolate - super pretty and delicious!

Definitely check this place out for an after-dinner snack! We had hot chocolate here and it was some of the best hot chocolate I've had in a long time - you can tell they make it by hand (none of that Swiss Miss stuff). The Kinder Crepe was recommended to me by the server and it was delicious. White a dark chocolate combined - I had to order a glass of milk, because it was so rich! The decor was really nice too. Everything was brightly lit and homey, for such a tiny location. They also offer Hooah and dessert waffles! Make sure to look at your check, because they add a service charge (which I assume is meant to replace a tip).

Hope you have a sweet tooth because this place is sweet. Plenty of options from smoothies, coffees, crepes, pancakes, waffles, & hookah. I was a little disappointed that there were no savory crepe options but overall it was a good experience and everything was delicious. The staff was so friendly and and accommodating.

This is my fav pink crepe

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

The frosting was incredible though. That stuff could go on anything. The cinnamon buns at Oak Bakeshop and Whole Foods are much better with those typical gooey layers inside. Also, it was not large in size, anyone can eat it in one sitting. The worker who took my order was very friendly and it is so nice/comfortable inside there.

Walking in, the cafe itself is nice and cozy but also large with plenty of seating. The place feels cozy, like the kind of place you want to have a warm coffee and a sweet treat. The outdoor seating is also really nice, and when we went almost all of the seats outside were taken. We went in the afternoon and thankfully there were a lot of good options to choose from, pastries wise. We purchased a cookie to share, a cinnamon bun and a pumpkin kouign amann. Each of those items was absolutely delicious and I am still thinking about that pumpkin queen. SO GOOD! The service was also really nice. We took a long time to decide and we never felt rushed or judged for not having an answer right away. When we finally did decide there was a lot of kindness and patience and I appreciated that. If we lived here, I'd show up here a few times a month to get some great pastries and what I'm guessing is great coffee.

We've stopped for baked goods and coffee at Oak Bakeshop several times while staying in the area and could not have enjoyed the baked goods more! The black and white cookies- YUM. The Boureka is the star here though. It's flaky pastry filled with a savory spinach and salty cheese mixture and it is perfection. Don't share it. You'll want your own! The setting is lovely- right by a playground, on a residential street. I really appreciate that they have outdoor seating available to enjoy the setting but also for those with pets (not allowed inside).

Their coffee is great too, I had gotten iced lattes which is my go to, and one day I added a cold foam. Delicious. Their assortment of baked goods is incredible with the star being the boureka. We also tried the Jerusalem bagel, the chocolate chip scone, coffee cake and I cannot remember what else. Loved the vibes and the service was friendly. Would definitely stop in for coffee if you're in the area!
