Small cafe in north providence that serves crepes, waffles, smoothies , and a small grill menu.

Hot chocolate - super pretty and delicious!

Definitely check this place out for an after-dinner snack! We had hot chocolate here and it was some of the best hot chocolate I've had in a long time - you can tell they make it by hand (none of that Swiss Miss stuff). The Kinder Crepe was recommended to me by the server and it was delicious. White a dark chocolate combined - I had to order a glass of milk, because it was so rich! The decor was really nice too. Everything was brightly lit and homey, for such a tiny location. They also offer Hooah and dessert waffles! Make sure to look at your check, because they add a service charge (which I assume is meant to replace a tip).

Hope you have a sweet tooth because this place is sweet. Plenty of options from smoothies, coffees, crepes, pancakes, waffles, & hookah. I was a little disappointed that there were no savory crepe options but overall it was a good experience and everything was delicious. The staff was so friendly and and accommodating.

This is my fav pink crepe

I have a picture below. We visited RI during the Christmas season, so we not only got to see how lovely this cafe was, but also their awesome Grinch-themed Christmas decor. The walls are filled with cool artwork, but the centerpiece is a mural on the wall of Van Gogh's masterpieces "Starry Night." The owner, Mia, is great to talk to. She takes great pride in what she has envisioned here, and I'm always happy to support a great, small business. She told me about all of their craft latte's and it was really hard to choose. I went with a Gingerbread latte and my wife had the Rhode Islander, which is a latte with coffee syrup. There are so many other drinks to try, so I will probably try to come back while I'm still in town. The latte's were delicious and really such a treat. They also have some pastries, which most are baked in-house. They looked really good! I also love the merchandise they sell which was all local products and things made by local artists. I highly recommend going to Starry Night if you're in the area and skip the chains like Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts.

The girl also working at that time was super sweet as well. I enjoyed chatting with them both! The biscuits were as good as they are hyped up to be. The breakfast sandwich i got was truly delicious! I also had a Grinch White Peppermint Mocha. It is made with green milk and a pink marshmallow on top to represent the grinch's heart! How stinking cute?!? I loved all the details and thought that is put into everything! The ambiance is really cute too! I love the starry night painting and i love how it was the focal art piece of this cafe. It really was stunning! This new coffee shop is worth checking out! I'm sure you'll love it as much as i did!

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

It feels like her place in the best way -- warm, proud, hands-on. Pastries are legit. Super buttery, flaky enough to make a mess, clearly baked that morning. No sad, sitting-around-all-day vibes. Ordered the breakfast sandwich and that tomato jam needs to be illegal. Sweet, savory, slightly tangy -- it completely makes the sandwich. I kept trying to figure out how to recreate it at home. Not happening. Crispy chicken sandwich was properly seasoned and not dried out (why is that so hard for some places?). Fries were solid too -- crispy, not limp. And the kale salad with roasted chickpeas and chicken made me feel like I had my life together. Fresh, simple, and actually satisfying. It's one of those places you stumble into while traveling and then immediately start googling whether you can justify going back the next day.

The snow made street parking a bit tricky, but thankfully there are a few parking spaces in the back of the building. Once inside, the bakery was lively and smelled absolutely delicious. There was a great selection of fresh artisan breads to choose from. I ended up with the durum loaf, which was perfect since I planned to make an olive oil dipping sauce. The bread was exactly what I hoped for crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, airy with a mix of large and small holes, and full of flavor. I also couldn't resist picking up two Valentine heart sugar cookies with jam because they were just too cute. The only minor downside was that the employee who helped me wasn't very smiley. Not rude at all, and my order was handled quickly, but it felt a bit different from the warm cafe vibe you might expect. Prices are higher than if you went to a mom and pop bakery but this was expected. Overall, a great stop for quality bread.

The knish was my favorite thing that we ordered. It tasted like a veggie - mashed potato pie. It was creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I had this around 10AM and passed on lunch because I was so stuffed. I would rate this cafe a 4 star if it was only for the food, unfortunately the coffee wasn't good. The coffee tasted really watered down and lacked a bold coffee flavor. It was as if we ordered oat milk with a splash of coffee. They definitely have to reevaluate their proportions. My wife's latte tasted just as watered down and she tossed it out. I, on the otherhand drank it, even though it wasn't pleasant because I don't like to waste. This left me wondering if everyone in the shop makes coffee beverages the same way or whether it was just one employee. I'm not sure...and don't think I'll be coming back for any drinks. The café itself was really beautifully decorated and had an open seating arrangement with most of the chairs facing the windows. The staff were nice, but not as friendly as you'd expect for folks on the east side. I'd go for the food, but not for the coffee. -ODL Connect with me! IG & YouTube: @AOEAT
