I've been looking for furniture for my master bedroom for weeks. Ive been to every furniture store in a 50 mile radius. I've been to this location a couple times, just looking. I had some questions so I kept coming back. They have a great deal going, and I wanted to take advantage of the special financing, but I had found the furniture I wanted cheaper at a different store. Well, they happily pricematch. I went back today to see if they would pricematch and still give me the great financing, and they were more than happy to accommodate me. By they I mean Rafaela, the wonderful associate that helped me. She was amazing, and made the whole experience pleasant. She was great with answering all of our questions, and she was very knowledgeable. She was also no pressure. She took care of us from start to finish, in every aspect possible. She's a fantastic asset to the company. Because of her treating me like royalty today, she now has a customer for life!!!!! read more

This is my first time ordering from Ashely's and it has been a complete mess ! I ordered about 2 months ago in advance so I can have all of my items delivered when I moved in spent a pretty good amount on furniture to furnish my whole house ! Come to delivery day, they changed my delivery date 3 time until I spoke to the manger then some how they decided to send my stuff to the wrong address and I had to wait all day at my house for them to show up. I got notified some of my things were on back order so I got a text saying I will receive it on the 3rd, then the 5th, then finally the 10th of the month. The 10th of the month came around and they delivered it to the same wrong address!!! Comes to conclusion I will not be getting my furniture until later than the 10th!! Absolutely ridiculous customer service and absolutely horrible delivery experience!!! Also the furniture is cheap got dining room chairs and 3 of them within the week have ripped on the sides ! read more

Wow after reading these reviews I hope when we get are furniture it is better than what these people are saying. I am writing about one of their sales associates. Rafaela Cortez she was very nice from the minute we walked in. She told us about sales that were going on and told us she would be around to help us out if we needed it then she wandered a short distance around in case we had questions. She was very helpful and told us when are furniture was delivered to make sure it was in good shape and if it was not to not accept it. She also told us to call her if we had any problems. My recommendation is if you go to this location ask for Rafaela she will treat you good. read more

I just cannot believe that Ashley Furniture and especially the Ast. Mgr Mika the way I keep getting excuse to just get my 17$ back. Chris at the corp. cared enough to contact me personally and did apologize for this situation but again I am still waiting another 10 to 21 days because they now say I paid cash and not the credit card that I had to call my bank and get them to send paperwork out to me and I didn't even need. I cannot explain how frustrated about this situation that could have been a easier fix if they did what was supposed to happen in the first place.And again Chris has another letter from me about this problem.I would like to say that Mary the sales lady that sold us the furniture to start with was and is great sales lady and if I were ever to go back in there or recommend them I would suggest to only deal with her.She took the time after not getting and I mean absolutely nothing but excuses from the Ast. I did get them finally after ordering them in oct. If I could give a 10 star rating for my sales associate JT I would! We moved from North Dakota back to Arizona and I was trying so very hard to get timing on delivery and questions about service and product and JT went above and beyond exceeded my expectations. From the moment he answered my first call he was polite knowledgeable about his products and proactive on his service. Over the following two weeks he answered all my questions about what was in stock and not in stock and when we finally met on the sales we were greeted with a smile a firm handshake and amazing customer service. He made my shopping experience so delightful and personable. Went over everything in detail so I never had to question any of my purchases. He went over all the discounts any additional fees all well being understanding of my time crunch of having to run around and get things together for the new house. I know in the future I'll be in our furniture pieces to my house and he will be the only associate I will be going to. I truly would follow him to any Ashley store. read more

My wife and I have been saving up for a sectional at Ashley Furniture for over a year to pay in cash. We had our sights on it for awhile. We bought it back in April, 2019. It arrived weeks later, partial order, the chaise was backordered. When the chaise finally arrived, it was broken. So we waited for a new one again. Days later we noticed the chaise cushion felt off from the display, like way worse. A store salesman told us the foam density could be off and to call in and they'd replace it. They did, but just sent the foam. We also had tears forming along the other cushions of the sectional within a month of having it. A technician came out twice to inspect it, and he was rude each time. We also had him inspect how one section of the sectional was lower than the rest of the couch, and he said that was normal. No, it's not normal. We've had multiple cushion covers replaced now, they only send the covering, not new cushions. The fabric is already diminishing and forming little fuzzy balls and thinning. I've contacted the manager of the local Mesa AZ store and the first time I called I got hung up on, someone answered and said, "Oh my God" and hung up. The next day I called and someone told me the manager I needed to speak to wasn't there, did not know his schedule, and even has to ask another employee his name, which they told me Daniel. I was told twice they'd leave messages and took my info. I've asked to get the sectional replaced in whole because nothing has gone right with it. I've yet to hear back and it's been over a month. read more

My husband and I went into the Ashley Furniture store last month for a new mattress. We were immediately helped, but I didn't feel the salesman was too pushy. He gave us a chance to try out several mattresses and waited at a distance, so we could talk and not feel pressured. He even informed us of deals and other cost cutting ideas. We then wondered the store and ended up getting a new kitchen table and chairs as well. The mattress was out of stock, but we set up a delivery date and it came in on-time. I also appreciated the delivery guy calling us when he was on his way, so we knew exactly when to expect them. Purchased an electric duplex recliner from Ashley on 7/24/2012. All OK until recently when the control broke. Can't raise the foot rest. I called Ashley, They referred me to corporate customer service, they referred me back to the store. I went into the store to request to have a repairman to fix it. Obviously, I expected to pay. They said the part had been discontinued and was no longer available. Nothing they can do. Now, here I have a piece of furniture costing over $1245, less then 5 years old, that I can't use for the purpose it was sold for. My choice: buy a new one. May have to if I can't get an independent repairman to repair it, but certainly won't be from Ashley. I just can't imagine a company that can't back up their products, even when 5 years (-) old. read more

My boyfriend and I had an absolutely outstanding experience here. We just bought a new house and have absolutely no furniture so we needed to furnish our entire house! We came in a few weeks ago just to take a look around and were immediately greeted and helped by Al who ended up helping us with our entire purchase. To give an idea of how pleased we were with the service, the couches we first fell in love with we found at another major furniture store where we received NO customer service the 2 times we went in. The service we received from Al made us decide to take another look and ultimately choose a couch from Ashley because I would rather give my money to a business that has great employees. Al was knowledgeable about their products, patient with our decision making process, honest, and gave us what we felt to be a great deal. When all was said and done, they threw in some extra pillows and a picture we liked as well and even took off a big chunk of money off our total at the end on top of the sales they already had going. Great experience, and anyone we know who needs furniture will definitely be getting recommended to this location. read more

I bought 2,500 dollars worth of furniture for our living room from Ashley Furniture at this location. We paid over 100 dollars extra for the cleaning package so if anything were to get dirty someone would come and spot clean our couches. After calling for the service I was greeted by a snotty older gentleman with a half crushed Home Depot bottle and a dirty crusty used wash cloth, driving an Ashley Furniture vehicle, that showed up to clean my couches. I am appalled that this company would talk people into buying this extra for their furniture and then put their name on this kind of service. I had him leave without spot cleaning my couches. I am mostly happy with my furniture but this kind of service is really disappointing. read more

Do NOT ever shop here. First I was hounded every five feet, then I was harassed by the most aggressive salesman Kris. I can't tell you how many times I told him I didn't want anything after I didn't qualify for the interest free financing on a mattress. BUT he was very proud of himself to inform me that he got me a blah blah limit with another financial institution at 35% interest after 6 months. He would not take no thank you for an answer and followed me around until I finally did purchase something I needed. Guess what? He claims to have gotten me a deal on a bed frame and mattress but charged me two separate delivery fees for the same day delivery and double on the bed frame which was listed online for $500 less. When I called to cancel my order and get my deposit back, these people wouldn't give me my money back unless I take time out of my day to go down there so they can pressure me into buying something else! At the end of the day I ended up keeping the mattress but I still couldn't get my deposit on the bed frame back. They just applied it to the mattress. The furniture is good, but just buy it online. Update: The scam artist Kris told me I would be receiving a free pillow and mattress protector for the purchase of a mattress. After having the delivery of my mattress completely messed up, I go to the store to straighten things out and I discover that I'm being charged $500 extra for the pillow and mattress pad. When I questioned kris at the time of purchase why these were showing up as charges, he assured me it was standard and these items would be voided by his manager. The completely rude and condescending manager I spoke with, Russle, criticizes me over and over again about signing a receipt with charges that weren't voided. Customer service rep Becca and Alicia are just as rude and unhelpful. I will be filing complaints with AF, the owner of the franchise, the BBB, and AG as soon as possible. Went to several mattress stores prior to deciding to check out Ashley Furniture in search of a mattress that would work for both me and my wife. When we walked into Ashley, Jett was waiting near the front and I thought, great..another used car salesman. But I was wrong..Jett welcomed us, discussed what we were looking for and then left us alone after showing us to the mattresses and bringing us some pillows so that we could get the "full experience". He checked in on us periodically to offer tips and answer questions but was not pushy at all. I think that is the main reason we chose to purchase not only a mattress but an adjustable bed frame from Ashley. Jett was knowledgeable and friendly and urged us to be sure to pick something that we would be happy with in the long run..and to take time to think it through. I have already been recommending him to friends because a non-pushy, knowledgeable sales person is hard to come by! Aside from that, we love our new bed and are happy that Jett helped steer us toward a mattress that was a great price and awesome quality. read more

I just had a great customer service experience at this location. The salesman Mike was very nice and helpful. He checked in with us, offered suggestions, but let us look around without following us around. It was nice to have that freedom, but know that we could easily find him if we had questions. The only thing that left me with a somewhat sour taste, which is preventing me from giving 5 stars, is the blonde girl who took payment. Mike was with us during payment, told her how much to charge, she repeated it back, and ended up charging a dollar more... not a big deal whatsoever, but instead of owning that it was her mistake, she blamed mike for telling her the wrong amount, even though she had a copy in her hand of the amount to be charged, and had also repeated it back. My boyfriend said it's no big deal, and then she also said yeah it's not a big deal... she also not once made eye contact with us or spoke to us directly until she said bye. Again, mike was great! I've purchased furniture from Ashley before with no issues, but this time I wasn't so lucky. I paid almost $2000 for a sofa and loveseat not even a year ago and they are already falling apart. The cushions on the sofa are completely flat, the fabric is bunching, seams are tearing, and the back cushions are separating from the frame. After attempting to call for 3 days (phone systems and servers apparently down) I finally got ahold of someone who told me they can not refund or replace my furniture. My only option is to have someone come out to "repair" it. The rep. I spoke to did not care at all, and when asked what happens if they fix it and it falls apart in a couple months, she responded "I don't know. All I know is you only have 18 days to get it repaired before the warranty expires". I've learned my lesson. I will never purchase anything from Ashley again. read more

Had a wonderful overall experience with this store on Southern! When we walked in the woman who greeted us-Mary Messerli-was very welcoming but we knew what we wanted so we said we just wanted to look around. Didn't really expect to find what we were looking for but wanted to check out the store. After walking around and beginning to think we were right, Mary came to us to ask what we were looking for. When I told her, she seemed to know exactly what I wanted. Then I told her I wanted the sofa with the power feature. She brought us toward a section. Then I mentioned I wanted it in white! She said "we have it in white and here it is"! We had been to many stores and we're having a hard time with sets that were uncomfortable, or had to be "special ordered" and here was the perfect piece! In addition, they have a great 4 year-no interest special going on so payments are very low. So low we decided to add a second piece to our order after additions discounts! Just got everything delivered today, and I'm thrilled with the pieces-looks and workmanship! Will definitely be going back for some bedroom furniture next year! read more

This is the worst furniture store that you can shop at so I'm letting everyone know that don't do any business with Ashley HomeStore because they just take your money and laugh at your face. I bought a kitchen table with 6 chairs and been waiting to the 6 chairs since April of 2016 and we are in June already. This store is very unprofessional and they have no idea of what they are doing. They cannot give you any answer when you ask and they keep changing the delivery dates. So far they changed them 4 times on me and still nothing. My family is using lawn chairs in the kitchen because WE HAVE NOT CHAIRS FROM THE STORE THAT I ORDERED. Go somewhere else and shop but don't shop at this store. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this store. I don't know how they keep in business but they lie and will cheat you. I should have gone somewhere else like American Furniture Warehouse but made the wrong choice. The manager and acting supervisor who I talked with have no clue of what they are doing especially the acting supervisor. She knows nothing and the store does not even call you to keep you up to date. I have to keep calling them and keep getting different delivery dates pushed. They have changed the delivery dates 4 times already since April and no chairs. I should get these chairs for free with the warranty but again they take your money and laugh at your face. Stay away from this furniture store or you will regret it in the end when you don't get your furniture delivered and it might come to you damaged because my table did. Overall, I was happy with my experience. I had been shopping for a couch and loveseat in various stores. I found a combo at a competitor location - it was an Ashley couch and loveseat but hundreds less. I asked them about it at Ashley and they agreed to meet the price. During the time I was looking elsewhere, I was told by a guy at The Room Store that Ashley has a 2 their system and they sell their higher end stuff in their actual locations, but sell cheaper knock offs off site. I asked about this and was told that the do have 2 lines, so that was a true statement. I was told that the furniture sold at discounted outlets with the Ashley brand were made in other countries, but the furniture sold at Ashley locations were American made. I was thrilled about this, since this is becoming rare but something I support. Well, I got my furniture quickly. The delivery guys were wonderful. BUT.....the furniture is NOT made in America, as I was told. It's made in Vietnam! This was either a lie or serious mistake on the part of Ashley and it bothers me. The saving grace is they matched the discounted price, but I didn't get the furniture they claimed was American made. I got the cheaper stuff. read more

The store manager Vinny, sales associate Ralph and financing lady Rafaella (not sure if I spelled her name right) are AMAZING! I cannot exspress how happy I am with the customer service we got. Horrible experience! First they were dishonest about the delivery date, then had three pieces scheduled to be sent on two different days, when 1st shipment finally arrived, one piece was black, one piece was brown and it was vinyl material, not leather. Where do I start! Ashley's customer for more than 10 years without any issues and recently moved to Mesa, AZ Bought a bedroom set and when Ashley deliver they damaged my one corner leg. I had to accept a technician "fix" and they don't want to replace with new leg! The admin girl at Mesa, (think Danielle) AZ branch treaded us badly and with no respect and we have to do whatever they say. They then realize that they never ordered the mirror dresser and arrangements were made to deliver dresser in 5 days. The dresser was supposed to show up 6.1.16 between 2 & 6 pm and did not arrived until 8:30 pm so my wife wasted a whole day waiting for them. We called the store and express our dis-satisfaction and mentioned that we are done with Ashley's and got a comment "Whatever" back! To put the Cherrie on the cake, there was a BIG hole in back of dresser and I now wait for another delivery end of next week! Not sure what's next but I believe it's about the people. The worst customer service ever! Horrible! I purchased a sofa and love seat set mid March. Sofa delivered 3/25/18 and was told love seat would be delivered mid April. I contacted store mid April only to be informed delivery had been pushed back to mid May. Contacted the store 5/12/18 and was told delivery now would be end of month. Very upset as I have friends coming to visit on Friday. Asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold for 10+ minutes only to be told a manager was not available and would call me back. Megan Childers (Manager) called me later that afternoon and told me I could get refund/store credit but would call me back that day after speaking to her supervisor. Did not hear back from her on Saturday. Called Monday and was told she was in an interview and would call me back - no call received from her. Called Tuesday and was told she would be in in 30 minutes and would call me - and again no return call. Called Wednesday and was told she was not available. Regret ever shopping at Ashley Furniture! We purchased a formal dining room table and six chairs (most expensive one in the store). One of the legs began getting loose immediately. A repairman came out to fix it and said that they had used the wrong size bolts in the manufacturing process. Since we only use the table during family gatherings, etc. we seldom use it. We recently noticed the other legs have become loose. I called Ashley and they refused to repair the chairs. I stated that these chairs are a total safety hazard and someone is going to be injured if/when these legs fall off. They suggested I tighten the bolts. Hello !!! They don't tighten because they are probably the wrong size bolts like the original chair that was repaired. I even offered to pay someone to fix them and they also refused that, saying they were unable to help me. So basically, I am stuck with a very expensive formal dining room table that we cannot use because someone may be hurt while sitting on these chairs. Thanks Ashley Furniture. if i could give a 0 for customer service i would. i purchased a bedroom set at their mesa, az store on southern and the entire delivery has been a disaster. ok i understood it could be delayed and it was. when they did finally deliver it they forgot the rails for the bed. have to wait another week for them to order. called the day before they were going to deliver and they confirmed they would deliver, my husband and i took the day off from work and 30 minutes after they were to deliver they called and stated that they couldn't deliver because they don't even have them, they are on a truck somewhere. now a week later we have the rails so we reschedule again and we pay someone to house sit and wait, well they come with the rails but no screws to attach them. now i get another call form their horrible customer service, who don't care. now i can refuse the rails and wait 14 days for them to reorder or 7 to 10 days for them to get screws. please please save yourself the aggravation and horrible customer service and shop for furniture somewhere else. i have always shopped at american furniture and should have stayed there. read more

I'm very happy with the quality of the furniture but I'm not happy at all with the tactics that the sales person used. My wife and I went to Ashley Furniture looking for a full bedroom set. We picked out a set that we liked and was told that one of the items would not be part of the package. We were alright with that but every time we asked the sales person what all came with the package the sales person would never point out the pieces that came with the set instead she very quickly read off a list of pieces knowing that we did not know all the pieces that were a part of the bedroom set. They show you a complete bedroom set. We were misled to think that we were getting all pieces except for one of the pieces. We didn't find out the truth until we got the delivery. Out of the 8 pieces that completed the set when the delivery came we only received 4 of the pieces. We paid cash pretty close to $4000 for a mattress with the frame a dresser with a mirror. Needless to say if the salesperson had been upfront and told us exactly what we were getting I would took my $4000 and spent it somewhere where I could have gotten a complete bedroom set. My advise to anyone looking to buy at Ashley from my experience. Be aware of the sales tactics that they use and press the sales person until you know exactly what you're getting. My experience was like dealing with a used car sales person. You don't find out how crappy the deal is until you've spent your money. Ashley Furniture got my money but I promise you they'll never get another dime of mine. Honesty , transparent, and being upfront with your customers is what keeps a customer coming back. Using deception to get sales you will never get repeat customers. I really feel that we were not given the benefit of the doubt.
