We bought one and delivery was quick and efficient. Unfortunately, after 30 days, my husband did not like the bed so we returned to the store and again Ryan helped us. I bought a mattress from this store several years ago and I believe it's the best mattress I've ever slept on. I went back recently to look for a mattress for my rv. Armando was very knowledgeable and helpful and I chose a short queen for my rv because of limited space. I used it for awhile but decided it would be better to have a short king because that's what the frame was built for. I went back to Armando and he helped me pick the mattress I needed and setup the exchange. Everything went as smooth as clockwork and I have another mattress that is perfect. I have been trying to get some response from the company on a Plank queen sized mattress we bought 2 years ago. It is no longer firm and was warrantied for much longer than 2 years. I tried using the online customer service which refused to assist us since we purchased it in a brick and mortar store (even though the mattress is shipped from the manufacturer). The first date of my contact with the online customer service was 2/16/2022. It was not for two weeks that they finally responded and said we needed to go to the store for a warranty issue. So I did and spoke to the "manager" at the location, Mr. Ybarra. He said we would need to have inspectors come to the home and look at the bed. It took more than a week, but they arrived and only took measurements and looked at the box spring. They never sat or even pressed on the mattress, only took measurements. We waited and got no response. So I called and was told by the manager that we would need to talk to the salesperson (from two years ago) about the bed to have him come out, sit on the bed, feel if it was sagging and authorize a "warranty service". We have not heard from him. We waited two more weeks and then went in this week and spoke to the manager again, Mr. Ybarra. He said he could not do anything, we needed to speak with the salesperson who sold us the bed and the salesperson would arrange a time to come out. He was allegedly going to be at work the next day (he has never been in the store when we call or stopped by). I have now been trying to get some relief as this bed is horribly uncomfortable and causing severe back and leg pain. I've had an x-ray and MRI of my back and there is nothing wrong with me that would cause this pain, so it must be muscular and since I am mostly fine after getting out of bed, sounds like the bed is the issue. I want a refund for this bed so that we can get a decent mattress from another store. read more

Very easy to work with. They provided helpful feedback, but with 0 pressure to buy a particular bed. My wife and I got a split king. She loved her mattress, but after about 100 days or so I decided I needed a firmer mattress. The one I had was very comfortable, but needed more support for my back. Called them and they scheduled the firm version of my mattress to be delivered a couple of days later. No pressure, no problems, good prices and comfy mattresses. I stopped into this store because the reviews looked good. When I walked into the store, 2 salesmen were at a desk talking. Both looked at me and ignored me. So I looked around the store a bit. Once I started trying out some beds, one saleman came over and in a cocky rude manner asked what I was looking for. I explained the type of bed I was looking for and he sighed and looked around. He then said any of their beds are good beds and just stood and stared at me. The salesman clearly didnt want to help me and didnt appear to like his job or people. What an awesome experience! I had no idea buying a bed could be so informative. This is the real deal. I have been recovering from spinal surgery for the past 6 months. And I appreciate that he didn't try to immediately try to push his most expensive mattress on us. He was not pushing for the up-sell. But when we asked, he showed us what we wanted. Really appreciated the patience and knowledge The prices are really great and they offer a lot of selection and are knowledgeable about beds etc. We bought a bed here recently and they were really helpful. We tried several places before we settled on R and S. We're still trying to decide if this mattress will work for both my wife and I in the because this mattress sleeps hot (not their fault, a problem with the manufacturer), but we have the peace of mind of knowing that they do have a good exchange program and we trust them. This is my second time buying from R&S and still just as pleased. The first time was at the Tempe location. I came in straight from Ohio needing a bed and left within 15 minutes and delivery set up for the next day. I just moved to Mesa, was getting my furniture that I ordered delivered and then realised I totally forgot to order mattresses! So off I went and found R&S mattresses. I was there for 10 am and was out of there by 10:30. I had the most wonderful salesman (sorry I can't remember your name!) who helped me pick out 3 high quality mattresses for very reasonable and best of all could deliver the same day! My furniture was scheduled for delivery between 1-3pm and R&S said they could deliver between 3-4pm AND NO DELIVERY CHARGE! What FANTASTIC service!! Sure enough everything was delivered at 3pm and again, what a great delivery man! super friendly, took extra care not to damage my walls etc and the mattresses are perfect:) I would HIGHLY recommend R&S mattresses (and no, I am not affiliated with them in any way,lol) read more

My wife and I went to R & S Mattress on the recommendation of our son, who had two pleasant experiences with them. Our son did not exaggerate his satisfaction. Cody was unbelievable showing us various mattresses on the showroom floor, explaining to us various qualities of each mattress we laid on. We have seen and tried dozens of mattresses and mattress stores, and Cody is by far the best sales consultant for mattresses this side of the Mississippi. He was never pushy or trying to persuade us in the oily way that mattress salespeople often do. Instead, he simply let us sell ourselves. Finally we settled on a mattress that appeared to be in our budget, with the soft but firm feel we wanted, but he refused to take the $100 off coupon and instead, to our delighted surprise, took several hundred dollars off. Then instead of piling on and up-selling, he just asked questions to make sure we bought the things we needed to be happy with the bed. Our good fortune continued when we took delivery with Jeremy's help. Jeremy is probably kinder than Cody, which is hard. Jeremy is a mountain of a guy, speckled with tattoos, so the fact that he is sweet like sugar is not obvious. Like Cody, Jeremy knew his stuff and was careful and respectful like he needed to be in our home. I am excited to report that my experience with both Jeremy and Cody was one I would like to repeat often, but do not buy mattresses very often. Next time I need one, though, or anyone I know needs one, I will gladly steer them to the store on the NW corner of Greenfield and Main in Mesa. read more

Recently bought a memory foam king mattress and my wife did not like it. Went back in to exchange and the rep at R and S was very helpful. He showed us a different mattress that he felt would meet our needs. It was delivered/exchanged yesterday and my wife and I love it. Prices are good and service is very good as well. Would like to point out that Justin, who delivered the first mattress then the one for the exchange was great. He was very friendly, was very careful when bringing in the mattress (which is a King and he delivered by himself) and made sure it was set up properly. He also assisted me with putting the bed cover protector on. Found Justin to be knowledge about the mattress he was delivering which I find important the even the delivery team knows the product well. Good job by both the sales and delivery man. TOXIC STINK. We bought a mattress a year ago for $400 bucks and thought, how great! I thought it was the most comfortable mattress I ever slept on. We bought many mattresses from R&S and never had a problem. Well, as the year went on, this bed started breaking down. When one of us moved, the other one could feel it enough to wake us up. I was going to the chiropractor a lot, but didn't realize it was the mattress until way later! Finally, we called R & S and they did claim the mattress was defective and let us pick another one. We went with a pocketed coil one, very comfortable and little motion transfer. After the guys dropped it off, I immediately noticed a smell - a bad smell! Long story short, the smell never lessened. We rubbed baking soda in it, vacuumed it, ran a fan on it 24/7, ran a air purifier, brought it outside in the sun and fresh air for an entire day, kept the window open, nothing! So after 6 weeks of this, we went back into R & S and told them all of this and they agreed to exchange it. We tried every bed in the place and they all stunk. So we began our long conversation about how we went to other mattress stores and learned a lot about some companies using sub stand foams and materials that come out of, you guessed it, China! R&S brags they make their mattresses locally, but know that it's not necessarily a good thing. They are using sub standard, old materials that are toxic. How do we know they are toxic? Put your nose in it and smell it. Be ready to gag or puke though. The people there are very nice. No problems at all with that. It's not their fault how the company makes their mattresses. We were at a brick wall and asked for our money back so we could shop for another mattress that didn't stink elsewhere. Special note, "bad odor" is not in the warranty of their mattresses. They don't consider that a "defect." Because we were open from the gitgo about my allergies and sensitivities and the fact that the manager admitted the mattresses smelled, we got 80% of our money back. We were upset for the loss we had to suffer with this company, but decided to move on. My warning to everyone- do your research, ask a lot of questions and smell the mattress before you buy it. There is some great info online talking about VOCs in mattresses. Please educate yourselves and protect your families. These mattresses cause illness, including cancer. read more
