After about 20-30 min of browsing the living room furniture Eric Mastern asked if he could help us. He immediately showed us where the smaller sectionals are. We found two and then were back and forth on which one. We finally decided. He was patient, knowledgeable and professional. Made me give 5 stars because of him on my review. If he had not found us, my rating would have been 2. The store is very nice and good prices with sales. He also informed us of renting a pick up truck right there so we could bring it home ourselves. That is an excellent feature AFW has. We were packed up and ready in less than 20 min from purchase to their truck and driving it home. Thank you Eric!!!

The store itself has an odd and musty smell. My partner and I also saw a lot of stains on the carpet, and it overall left a very unclean impression of the store. Not only that, I have discovered 3 bug bites in a row on my arm, which may indicate they have bed bugs living in their show furniture. I'm hoping it's not bed bugs and that they did not hitch a ride home with me :( We were helped immediately as soon as we walked in because we were the only customers there on a weekend. What a huge contrast to how busy it was at the furniture store we stopped by before this one! We were told some helpful things, but after we were promised to be left alone to look around, we were approached a few more times again. It felt rather awkward. Overall, it's really hard for me to recommend Mega Furniture to anyone unless you have a very specific style you're looking for because they do have some furniture pieces that are not what's currently trending. Customer Service is a nightmare. After only 2 years, every single cushion on the couch began…read moresinking. I purchased replacements on 4/2 and was told they would be received within 6-8 weeks. On 5/30 it was discovered they waited 2 weeks after the payment to place the order which caused an additional EIGHT week delay for arrival. That's four months total. This was only admitted to after I provided dates and followed up multiple times. They finally managed to get the cushions in the warehouse in June, but had to wait an additional month for delivery on 7/7. Of course this was cancelled a few days ahead of time (shipping called me to let me know and said they would FedEx them out to me so customer service wouldn't make me wait another month for delivery). Despite delivery being cancelled, the customer service agent STILL sent out text and email of delivery reminder the day of. The tracking info included in the messages returned 'order not found ' which I sent to the CSA who said it was still being delivered and that the tracking info was just wrong. Of course, it was never delivered on that day and there was zero follow up. Overall, this is the most inefficient, disorganized and siloed company I've ever had the displeasure of working with. It seems there's no checks and balances and that the Departments don't talk to each other so nobody really knows what's going on and the consumer pays the price for that The worst part is there is no accountability and those customer service agents are still out there doing the same thing because they're not held accountable in any way shape or form

I had recently ordered a Svante media stand and it came damaged - with two big cracks in the bottom…read moreboard. To get the media stand exchanged, I have to first work with their 3rd party vendor and based on the vendor's assessment the next steps will be decided. Basically, they are leaving me (the customer) in limbo. Though I had ordered the media stand from their Mesa store, I had to go all the way up to their warehouse in Phoenix (an hour's drive from my home) to pick up the media stand. They surely know how to make things more difficult for their customers! A 'good' store would make things easier and not difficult for the customer. Also, a month ago, I had ordered a Quintin nightstand online, paid for it and everything. A week later, I get a call from them saying that they are out of the nightstands! Overall, I am really disappointed with their customer service. Damaged furniture out-of-the-box is another big concern. No more shopping at Scandinavian Designs for me!! Future customers: Do check your furniture thoroughly for any damage prior to pick up and/or after delivery!!
