This is actually for the Ashley store in Columbia, Missouri. I inquired about delivery and was told it was $140. I informed Taylor Everett, my salesman that a competitor offered delivery, set up and removing the old furniture for $40. He said he could match that. On my bill, I noticed a delivery charge for $119. When I inquired about that, he said he took it off the total price of the furniture. Upon delivery, the two men refused to take my old furniture. I was left with a couch and love seat in my yard two days before Christmas. When I called the store, I was told Taylor didn't recall telling me that and there was nothing they could do. They said Taylor was new and probably didn't know the policy. read more

This store and it's delivery service is a joke. I ordered 2 nightstands and a bedroom set. The one nightstand "got damaged" by the delivery company and called me to ask if I still wanted it, or wait for a new one to become available. Obviously, I wanted a new one and asked when it would be available. The person on the phone had no idea. I then called Ashley Furniture to ask about the availability of the new nightstand. I was connected to someone in the warehouse who told me "they are getting a trucj in about a week and a half and it might be on there, but we don't know. We don't have stock lying around." Funny, I thought that was the purpose of the warehouse! I was then connected to the store manager to complain. Here the delivery service actually CANCELLED my order so he had to do a re-order. So needless to say, I had to wait for my bedroom set to be complete, but not by Christmas as was the intent! This past Sunday I received a call asking if I was "ready for the nightstand to be delivered". I said yes and said any day would be fine. He then said "oh you can't pick your day and we don't do Monday or Tuesday, but we'll do Tuesday this week". Um, ok. I was then TRANSFERRED to confirm. Why did he bother calling me? I received an automated message yesterday telling me my delivery would arrive TODAY between 11-3, I confirmed. When my husband called at 4pm and still no delivery, we called the store. Here, "it was taken off delivery and no one was notified". He then had to do yet ANOTHER RE-ORDER! This is totally unacceptable! This delivery company is terrible and the customer service is seriously lacking. When asked how I could be compensated for my inconvenience all the store manager could offer was $10 off. After my husband complained, we were able to have the delivery charge refunded. This is insane. If we hadn't already put the rest of the bedroom set together, I would take everything back and NEVER shop at Ashley Furniture again. read more

We came in and bought a 800$ couch put 500 down and did two payments of 150$ went in to pay my last payment they said i still owed another 500 dollars on the couch looking through everything I signed I can not find where this 500 dollars they say I owe came from. Basically dont shop there they will try and scam you I'm about to have to go up there again and clear this up not very happy. read more

Dealing with Ashley has been the worst experience! They couldn't get anything right! While furnishing a entire vacation condo I made multiple purchases from Ashley and had a problem with every encounter, delivery, item, etc. I was then hung up on, yelled at, lied to, ignored, etc continuously for what has now been a few months. Worst company ever and I will continue to warn people against them. I actually get them ZERO stars. read more

Our sales person Justin was great, not pushy and genuinely interested in what worked for us. The store Manager Chad however was the complete opposite. After giving him our new address the love seat was still sent to my old address, after calling corporate Ashley Furniture it turns out the address was not updated in the correct place for deliveries. Chad never once apologized for that mistake, nor when they were unable to deliver the love seat to the correct address the next day. We didn't get the delivery until 5 days after the initial date and instead of seeing what he could do for us, all we got was attitude and the statement that this happens a lot. If you have to shop for furniture look somewhere else, I have gotten better customer service on a 10 dollar shirt from Amazon that arrived damaged, than we received on a 600 dollar love seat. read more

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU STEP FOOT INTO ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!! I wish I had. They are only getting a star because I had to... Almost to the T my experience over the last month has been exactly the same as ALL of these other folks. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. From the "manager" who is a pathetic excuse for a manager all the way down to the "customer care" employees. None of them are concerned about you. It's the same as buying a new house...once you have the keys you are no longer a priority. Once Ashley has your money you are forgotten. I am still waiting on getting all of my furniture which was supposed to come tomorrow but this morning I got the call one piece was missing from the order which was supposed to replace a piece that was damaged so since that is missing the whole order can not be delivered. Because that makes since right! This company is so shady I would never recommended anyone stepping foot in it unless you are a gambler and don't really care when you actually get your furniture. There are several other furniture stores in the South Park Meadows shopping area that will take care of you. Rooms To Go got me in and out in 20 minutes and delivered their product like they said they would on time and NOT DAMAGED! Buyer Beware with this company!!! read more

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I hav never met a more rude delivery team. They ran their mouth the entire time because I suggested they take the reclining couch piece apart (only because the previous team who delivered the reclining couch had to take it apart). They told me they didn't have tools and that "its not my job to take stuff apart." If you don't have tools and it's not your job, then how did the previous team do this? they continued to yell and scream at me in my own house, and when I told them to please stop running their mouth, it only got worse. they told me "you should be thanking me for doing this, I should just go put it back on the truck and not even give you your furniture." I will never again step foot in an Ashley furniture store and will never spend another penny there. Forgive me for expecting you to simply do your job and deliver a piece of furniture the I paid money for. read more

I am happy to say we were very pleased with how Randy, the store manager for Ashley Furniture, handled our unfortunate situation with a prior purchase! He restored our faith in the store and we will continue to do business with Ashley and would recommend them to family and friends!! I think Ashley could use more Randys managing their stores:) read more

Turn around and run away! Seriously! Ashley has the worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. The number that they provide you with will ring for over thirty minuets just to be picked up and then immediately hung up on you. I have called over 10 times, same thing, no luck. I had an issue with a product not being shipped on time. I attempted to call, finally found a work around to talk to a human by pretending I had an issue with my credit card. After I was able to talk to someone they informed me that their system says the product would ship at a later date but yet never sent me and email about this new information. Finally the item was shipped and delivered but the item was severely damaged. Obviously they are using a cheap provider for delivery that is late and ignorant of the parcel. The item being damaged forced me to repeat this above nightmare. STAY AWAY. THE TIME I HAVE SPENT DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY ISN'T NEARLY WORTH MY ENTIRE DINING SET. read more

This store sold me a headboard and a bed frame that are not compatible. I contacted their customer services many times and nobody was able to help me with my bed issue. It was told me that I could not return it because there is no manufacture problem. I went to directly to the store and the manager was very rude to me. I asked to return the headboard and the frame so I could get a different bed. He said it was okay but I would lose 50% of the price that I paid for the frame. Why did they sell me 2 pieces that are not compatible and now I have to lose money for their fault? He said he could exchange the headboard for different one that it would be compatible with the frame but it would cost more $499. Why the sales person didn't tell me this before? I was not planning to spend too much money with a headboard. I also told him about a small damage on the mattress box. When I showed him the picture he said: " You put the mattress on the top and nobody will see it" . Just unbelievable!!! read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE IF HONESTY AND INTEGRITY ARE IMPORTANT TO YOU! I would have given zero stars if it were possible. I ordered three pieces of office furniture: desk, bookcase and lateral file. The bookcase was damaged upon delivery I was told that I would have to wait for 2-4 weeks to get a replacement - UNACCEPTABLE! I had already waited 3 weeks for the original delivery. After a long conversation with the Sales Rep that ended in me demanding to speak to the manager I was put on hold for at least 5 mins and when she returned she had miraculously found one that was on order for another customer that I could have. GREAT! No, not great, the bookcase was delivered as promised but two shelves did not fit. Again I called customer service, another long conversation that resulted in the standard 2-4 weeks wait time. Again I asked to speak with a manager, after waiting for almost 15 mins because she was on the phone with another customer the Rep came back and said she was told to log a ticket and the manager will call me back either the same day or the next. Well no one called and to be honest I did not expect that they would have but what riled me up was when I called back a few days later the Rep I spoke with had the nerve to insist that the manager did call and leave me a message. This is a bold face lie - she never called, she never left a message - hello! this is the age of mobile phones that logs calls - even hangups AND voice mails. I told this to the Rep and of course he insisted that his notes said she called. I requested to speak again with a manage got the same song and dance - she'll give me a call back. Still waiting! I will NEVER shop this store again and will make it my mission to make sure no one else does. Take my advise and spend your money elsewhere. read more

Purchased a mattress from Ashley Furniture the beginning of 2016 approximately February. Started having issues with the mattress (it was getting a low spot on the edge). This was not a cheap mattress it was just over $2,000. I contacted Ashley who put me in contact with their customer service this was an Ashley mattress. Took him 30 days to send out an inspection crew who took some measurements of the mattress and some photos. Took another month for them to get back in contact with me to tell me that they were not going to be able to assist me because my mattress was Staind. This was in fact a lie I took photos of the mattress in it into them warranty portion of Ashley Furniture to prove it they call me back later and said no that was a mistake it wasn't that the mattress was stained it was because I had the incorrect box springs. Once I proved that to be a lie they called me back a few days later and said it wasn't the box springs it was my mattress frame was incorrect for the mattress. Once I prove that wrong I finally got a meeting with the district manager face to face who finally agreed to replace my mattress. This all took nearly three months. Ashley is the kind of store that will try and find any reason to not back up their product, Including lying. Luckily for me I'm very steadfast about keeping notes and documentation on everything I do or any purchase I make. Also anytime I have to discuss anything with customer service or any type of warranty company I always note every conversation date time and who I spoke with. Ashley is a horrible store their customer service is nonexistent read more

If you could leave negative stars I would do that. I ordered bunk beds from Ashley on 6/14. They were supposed to be delivered on 7/12. They were, with no hardware. I had already taken my twins other bed down so they slept on the floor. It was delivered again on 7/31.... with no hardware. The delivery men left the bed in my garage in boxes. I called Ashley the same day (7/31) to cancel and have the unassembled bed picked up. The lady told me it was cancelled and that someone would call me the next day to schedule pick up. Nobody called. I called them on 8/5 and was told that they could not schedule a pickup and that I would need to call online sales. I called online sales and spent 30 minutes waiting for someone to answer. A lady answered and told me that she would need to initiate a return and that the company providing the bed would need to OK the return since it had been in my home (unassembled) for over 72 hours. Meanwhile, my kids are still sleeping on the floor. I want a full refund and this thing out of my garage. This is 100% on Ashley Furniture, not the other company. When you sell something you should stand behind it and the performance of your company. This is the worst experience that I have ever had with any purchase. The customer service people have been rude and really do not care about customer service. I would not purchase anything from Ashley Furniture and will never again step in a store or read an email from them. read more

Warranty? Whats that, never heard of such a thing. I have now purchased 3 furniture sets and 2 bedroom sets from Ashley's Homestore. I purchased a set of reclining couches in March of this year, recently one of the recliners would not return to the full upright position. We had purchased a Montage protection plan for this furniture, upon contacting their customer service they told us that they only cover the fabric and that we had to call Ashley's Customer Care because there would be a manufactures warranty since we purchased the couches 8 months ago. I scheduled a service call to inspect the couches, when the technician showed up he said he couldn't fix it and that someone would contact us. Well that call came today, and low and behold after paying additional for a warranty (that is useless) and having a current manufacturer's warranty we will have to pay $89.00/hr to have the furniture repaired because it was deemed customer abuse. Also, the Ashley's Customer Care rep was confused as she was sure the Montage was to cover all damage outside of the manufacturer's warranty (as I was at the time of purchase...) Its hard to believe that I spent over $700 on a couch that upon reclining failed and now I am either out a couch or out $89/hr until they fix it. Also, I wanted to personally thank Robert, a supposed customer care manager at the New Braunfels care center for being such a genuine dick to my wife on the phone. Hope you have a great day read more

If I could give them less than zero stars, I would. We purchased two pieces of furniture and both were damaged. We kept one but decided to return or replace the other one. Since we did not pay for their delivery, they refused to return it or replace it. They insisted on repairing it and then stated that the damages occurred due to us putting the piece together rather then being damaged out of the box. When looking at the piece it is obvious that the shelves are 1/4" longer than the frame -- how could this be our error? After talking with several managers regarding this we were lied to, argued with, given a runaround, and finally threatened arrest. So, in conclusion, lousy furniture, lousier customer service, and no integrity. Whatever you buy from them you are stuck with, so good luck. read more

At the store they are nice and friendly and the furniture is decent quality but whatever you do, do not get the furniture delivered. We scheduled a delivery date 1 month in advance. They give you a 3 hour time frame of when they will be at your house. They were 3 hours late which i could have accepted had they actually brought all of my furniture. They left my bedframe at their warehouse. I was told they would call me within 48 hours to set up a new delivery time. They never called but set up a time to deliver another piece of furniture at a time that doesnt work for me. So i have a head board and slats leaning up against my wall. And they expect me to take off work so i can sit at home all day and hope they actually deliver the right furniture. My next free day is in 2 weeks and they wont work with me to set up a time that works for me even though they were the ones that messed my order up read more

While I have yet to have my new living room set delivered, I had a great experience in the store. After 6 hours of visiting other furniture stores and being followed around like a puppy dog with promises of instant financing... sales people assuming I intended on financing (I was paying cash) I decided to give Ashley a chance. Not one single sales person followed me around. When I asked for suggestions, I was directed to the suggested area and promptly left to think it over alone. What a breath of fresh air after feeling if I stopped short, the salesman would run me over at the other stores. After falling in love with the perfect living room set, Ed (the most adorable grandpa ever!) stood respectfully and most patiently off to the side while my family and I talked it over privately. Once we were ready to talk prices, he proved to be most accommodating. He was honest, straightforward and over all a nice nice man. I read other reviews about how long it takes for delivery. I agree that 2 weeks is a long time... too long. In my case I needed the extra time, so it was not an issue for me. I give Ed 5 stars!!!! read more

My family and I were in search of a few items for our home. Upon arriving we were greeted then asked if we needed any help. We said no thanks and went on our way looking. It became very apparent the sales lady was going to tail us on our journey through the store. I was more than annoyed at being stalked like prey. I am capable of asking for help when I need it. We figured out the items we wanted to order, gave the list to the sales lady and then it took an HOUR to complete our order, which wasn't going to be delivered for another 3 weeks. But she guaranteed everything would arrive on the set date. Skip ahead 2 1/2 weeks and I get a call that part of my order is not available and wont arrive for another week. I say "I was guaranteed that all the furniture would be available and ready for delivery by the original delivery date" The manager I spoke with said "Oh, delivery is subject to change, we can't guarantee delivery. Sorry if that wasn't disclosed to you." So now I have company coming and not enough places for people to sit. Ashley Furniture refused to do ANYTHING to make it right. I will not be purchasing from them again and recommend you take your money elsewhere! read more

My son moved to his own apartment and needed furniture.. So i helped him look for his furniture online.. Found a great deal that Ashley furniture had. $799.00 for 14 pieces for a living room set and $ 799.00 for 14 pieces for a bedroom set. And a small dining room set for 299.00. I called 2 weeks earlier in order for the furniture to arrive the time i was to visit my son. And we were told that except for the dining table everything sould be there on time. Well most of the living room set was delivered except for the accessories (which was fine) and the mattress, box spring and frame . The rest of the pieces were to come on the 4th of July. Well.. They delivered a few more bedroom pieces on the 4th. The dining room set we ended up canceling because we would not get it until another month... We are still missing the comforter set and accessories which they told me wont be available until the end of September. Very frustrating! I called to complain and the message i got was therewas nothing they could do about it... Some customer service! I will never purchase anything there again nor will recommend this store. read more

First we bought two leather sofa's and then one year later bought a leather love seat. In both cases the sales personnel were knowledgeable and helpful. The "check out" process leaves a lot to be desired, i.e., knowledge, courtesy and accuracy The delivery for both purchases was a complete disaster. It's like the Store and the Delivery Organization are two separate, non-connected organizations. After two missed deliveries I called the store and asked to talk to the Manager, who refused to talk to me. It's sad, good products, helpful sales people and absolutely NO MANAGEMENT. We bought a battery powered wall clock off the floor. After taking it home, we found it wouldn't run. We contacted the store and were told no returns since it came off the floor. We were told to call the corporate office but when we did they said they couldn't do anything and we needed to contact the manager of the store it was purchased. Around we go. October 17, 2013 ---- Yes, today was delivery! My first mistake, was not reading the yelp reviews before buying. The salesman was friendly and helpful. He left us alone about the furniture, but was a little pushy about buying a mattress, which now, I'm thankful, I didn't buy. But he gets the only star. However, on October 3, 2013, I did buy a sofa, love seat, and coffee table set with the understanding, they'd be delivered within 48 hours. Delivery of the sofa & love seat turned out to be 10/17/13 because they only deliver to my area on thursdays (which meant, taking off work). Because the coffee table set was broke before delivery, they've reordered it, which takes another 10-14 days, and I'm sure, they'll deliver on a thursday (off work again). Delivery of the sofa & love seat was today, 10/17/13. I wish I could post a picture of the SEAM NOT SEWN IN THE LOVE SEAT. Upon sending pictures to Ashley's and sending an email and calling, the manager has informed me, the will send a REPAIRMAN out to FIX my NOT EVEN A DAY OLD love seat, and that he will come 10/30/13 (another day off work), because he only does this area on wednesdays. I requested a NEW LOVE SEAT be seat with the REPLACEMENT, NEW COFFEE TABLE SET, and that they be delivered on the same thursday. Right now, it still stands that the REPAIRMAN will come the 30th. If anything changes, I'll let you know. read more

On June 21,2014 I purchased two wing back chairs. The price of the chairs and to have them delivered totaled $1250.00. I was told they would be back ordered and I should have them by July 5. I got a call from them on July 3 stating they would not have them in until July 12, which I stated okay. Then on July 9 I got a call stating they would not have them here until July 19. I just got a call today July 17 stating chairs would not be delivery until July 31. Today I inform the caller to cancel my order. He stated I needed to call the store direct to cancel which I did. After holding for 17 minutes I was transferred to a person who stated she would refund the shipping cost of $119 if I would still let them deliver July 31st. Of course I said no. She then inform me she could not refund me my money only a manager could and she comes in a noon. The manger did call me and stated she will refund me. She never apologized for the delay. She only stated she would refund my debit card and I should see it in my bank in 2 to 5 days. If not check with my bank. First off I would like to say the only person on this review, Elizabeth S, who gave this store a good rating is an employee! She was our sales person! This place is terrible. The delivery showed up 5 hours late with no notification they were running behind. The furniture is poorly made. 2 of the drawers on a dresser we bought were broken when it arrived. I called customer care and they said new drawers would arrive in 2 weeks. It's been 3 weeks and they don't know if they have been shipped. I will never buy anything from this store again. DO NOT ORDER FURNITURE FROM THIS STORE - YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! I have had an AWFUL experience with Ashley Furniture and I'm hoping this doesn't happen to others. I purchased my furniture on 5/26 to take advantage of their Memorial Day Sale. I was told by the sales person to go ahead and get my order in so I could take advantage of the deal but it would be no problem to make ANY changes within the next 48 hours (since I hadn't measured my space yet and wasn't sure whether the furniture would fit). Once I had everything figured out, I went in the next day, less than 24 hours later, to make the changes. I was then told by the manager that they could not honor the financing deal I had received the prior day because the total price would be increasing and there system "just would not allow it". I was frustrated that it was taking almost an entire year of no interest financing off the deal but I had no choice. My furniture was set for delivery almost 2 weeks out. When the delivery came, they had brought the wrong table and too many cube ottomans (or so I thought). After speaking with the sales person, he had ordered the wrong table and ordered too many ottomans. (Apparently the ottomans came in a set, so when I thought I was buying TWO I was actually buying two sets of two.) On top of that, two of the sectional pieces were completely deformed and they had delivered no couch cushions. The sales person indicated I would have to speak to customer support on that...ugh. So after waiting on the phone for over 45 minutes, I spoke with a customer support person who worked with me to get the new pieces and indicated she would be sending my pillows through the mail. However, the furniture wouldn't be able to be delivered for 4 weeks. After a couple of weeks, the pillows still had not come so I followed-up with customer support again. This time I was told no order was placed for the pillows and they would come with my delivery in a couple of weeks. Ok...again not much I can do. Next thing, I receive my bill in the mail...guess what?!... it's incorrect, I was charged too much! And when I called the store to get an itemized detail of the returns/exchanges, etc., I'm told something will be emailed to me; a week goes by and nothing. Now the last straw has been that the furniture would have been delivered this weekend. I received a call this morning (Wednesday) saying they will need to push it back another week. Are you kidding me?? This has been awful. I hope no one else has to go through this. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE . I had ordered 2 furnitures from Ashley. They did not let me know that both will not be delivered that day. I took off from work and waited for them. But I am on phone with them for the past 10 days and still they have not refunded me. Their customer service is the worse ever I have seen. I'd like to start off that I have purchased furniture from Ashley Furniture Home Store in the past with no issues and have loved the product; this time however has been hell. On Memorial Day my boyfriend and I purchased some furniture for our new house: Queen bed and headboard, 2 nightstands, 1 dresser, 1 chest, 4 dining chairs, 1 dining bench, 1 dining table, and a queen mattress and box spring. We scheduled delivery of everything for June 24th; the week of delivery we get a call that both the table and bench were back ordered until the first weekend in July; okay, fine no big deal. Delivery day comes and the nightstands we received were not the nightstands we ordered; I called the store and they said customer care would call first thing the next morning to schedule delivery of the corrected nightstands. I do receive a call the next morning but only to be told I would have to take the nightstands back to the store myself and pay extra to have the correct ones sent out to me; I said no and that they should be sending someone to pick them up and replace them at no extra charge to me because it was their mistake; I was told they had to call the store to confirm and would call me back...never heard back so I call the store 5 later that day to check in, was told once more they would call me back and never did. Two days later (Monday June 28th) I call the customer care line to find out what is happening and they said somebody noted that I was call that morning which nobody actually did. The new night stand delivery was scheduled for today (July 8th) along with delivery of the bench when was in; I asked about the table and was told it was now back ordered until early August but nobody thought to inform me of this until I called to ask. I received a call on July 7th to confirm delivery for July 8th only to find they had the delivery going to the wrong address; they called the delivery guys and said they would call me back in 20 minutes, after almost 3 hours someone finally got a hold of me to let me know they had the address changed and I was told the replacement nightstands and bench would be delivered between 3:15 & 6:15 pm on July 8th....I got a call at 8 this morning saying they were an hour out....early delivery would usually be fine but my boyfriend and I both work at 8:30 and did not plan for this; he had to rush back home to meet them. They delivered the corrected nightstands but didn't take back the wrong ones and also didn't deliver the dining bench which they said would be sent on another truck later that day who would pick up the nightstands; so I called customer care again to see what is going on and they said it was an issue due to them entering the wrong address for this delivery originally and now the bench would have to be rescheduled yet again as would the pick up of the incorrect nightstands...table still back ordered until early August. This has been a horrible and frustrating experience especially when they tried to tell us we would have to pay more to correct their mistake!! The furniture itself that we purchased is of nice quality and looks great in our room..hopefully the the dining set will be nice too when we finally receive it all; but the countless screws ups and misinformation provided to us has left me with a sour taste in my mouth for the store. Edit to Above Review: I returned home to find that the nightstands that were suppose to be a replacement for the incorrect ones delivered the first time are also wrong; I have been on hold with my local store for an hour now (and still waiting) to talk to a manager!!!! read more

I ordered a sofa set nearly 2 months ago.. Ashley keeps trying to deliver only half the set. I have left messages and even stopped at the store. They dont return phone calls, and the store would not help me. They want me to pay them to get out of contract. How long does a customer have to wait to get furniture delivered from Ashley? I dont know.. I am still waiting. read more

1 Star is too many for this company. After making a large purchase with a 36 month, no interest agreement, we were charged interest after 24 months. We have made 50+ calls and have gone to the store at least 10 times because of not receiving return phone calls. We were promised that the issue would be rectified but 8 months later there is still no resolution. Manager, Andy has been unresponsive and rude, has made promises with no follow through, and shows nil customer service. We have escalated the issue to their corporate office, and again, completely disappointed in the way our situation has been addressed. read more

I was in the south Austin location on Saturday 02/25/17 with a friend of mine. I was looking for a sectional. A very pushy salesman by the name of RJ approached us and offered to help. I told him what I was looking for as did my friend. He proceeded to show me a piece of furniture that I was not interested in but sat on anyway. RJ proceeded to tell me the couch I was sitting on had a steel frame and was very sturdy. I thought Ok that's nice but then he said "so I can assume the rest of your family is very large" he did not mean in numbers he meant in weight. I realize I am overweight but by no means did this salesperson have the right to point that out to me or mention it to me in way shape or form. My friend that was going to purchase a bed she had picked out decided not to purchase anything from the store either. We did ask to speak to the manager of the store and Chris (the floor manager) was not any nicer than the sales person (RJ). He said he was sorry but we had to understand that RJ is also a personal trainer. I nicely explained to Chris that I did not care who or what RJ is or does he insulted and offended me and I would take my business elsewhere. Chris did not seem to mind, so my friend and I went to a different store and purchased the items we would have purchased from them had we not been insulted. I have worked in customer service and I can tell you this store does not have any. I contacted the corporate office and never received a response. read more

The desk I purchased from Ashley was broken in 2 places after I waited about 3 weeks for delivery! I have pictures! I said I would still take it - but at a significant discount. I said I would appreciate it if Ashley would resolve this ASAP! Nope. Forget it. After Ashley unapologetically said it would give me $130.00 discount to keep the desk in its condition they said I could return it (Oh, and it was my responsibility to pack it all back up nice and neatly and set it out - but not in inclement weather - for UPS to pick back up - and sorry nothing for my troubles or inconvenience), but I would have to wait 7-10 business days for a new piece to arrive. What a way to get my new office set-up! I also am not very happy that I had to pay $170 to have 1 credenza delivered when all of the other furniture was being sent free via UPS (albeit not very carefully) and I still have to assemble it. (Oh yes, sorry for another aside, but after waiting 3 weeks for the desk to arrive Ashley called and said it will be another week before it can deliver the desk.) Heck, I would rather have it all sent via UPS and assemble that last piece, too, rather than pay the $170 for shipping one stinking item. This is especially the case whenever I ordered everything online it appeared as if the $170 delivery/assembly fee was for all 5 of the items that I purchased. NOT HAPPY! How can you rate Ashley a Zero-Zip-Nadda-Zilch-Nothing!? Oh yes, and finally, I 'm an attorney and they knowingly treated me like this. . . . So here's a zinger - a free piece of advice from an attorney (Ha Ha!) - DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY HOMESTORE! read more

I ordered two recliners and it took longer to get them than I planned, but otherwise I am very pleased with them. The lady that helped me was very friendly and she worked hard to get what I wanted. I also received a $50 in store credit because of my wait, plus free home delivery. So yes, I will buy there again. read more
