Once they get your money and pretend they will be able to help with post purchase questions or concerns, they avoid you and disrespect your time. I called to speak to the manager, Joseph Cardenas, who sold me my items (said a 4-6 week delivery window and here we are in week 7 and no update), he answered and put me on hold right away for 5-6 minutes until someone else answered to take my contact information for a call back. She offered to help me with locating my delivery date and placed me on hold for another 15 minutes until I just hung up. Do not waste your time or money here. You will constantly be disappointed. You can purchase tons of Ashley made furniture through third party vendors for less money too! The only reason I gave 2 stars is because when our last purchase was delayed, at least the manager at that time (Michael) was accommodating and helpful. Live Oak Ashley store: Bought a loveseat w/ console....in January of this year 2022. wasn't put together correctly and I figured it out after a few days of sitting on the loveseat. Both USB ports don't charge now either. I have been on the phone for months...yes months trying to get them back out to my house to service the newly purchased loveseat that we can't sit on. Finally they send me some replacement parts that have been sitting in a box for weeks. Why? Because no one can schedule an appointment....they must call me within 24-72 hours. 2-3 times a week I call back asking when will someone call to schedule and they give me the same answer. I'll start by saying I love the table I got from here but it took almost 6 months to be delivered and it kept getting delayed longer and longer. When I bought the table 10/12/21 I asked if they thought I might have it by thanksgiving and they said they "didn't know for sure but it was possible!" Yeah right! The latest time they told me then was December but "definitely before Christmas!" Then when I text in December it was moved to "January" and after grilling the salesperson who sold me the table he admitted the latest would be March and well here we are. It's been a frustrating experience but at least I have my table now but if you're thinking about buying furniture from Ashley be warned not to expect your furniture for months on end. You might actually have more luck buying directly from their website which is not affiliated with this store or their sales. Ultimately I didn't feel taken care of or cared for as a customer once I paid for the table. I wrote my original review a month ago after placing my order on 7/18/21. I was told at the time of ordering my bed that it would be delivered late October/ November. I call a month later to check the status last month and the automated system stated 17-19 more weeks... That's almost 6 months for a Ashley branded item. I spend almost 2 weeks calling the store with no one answering the phone. Finally, I speak with Ana (not Ana Perez; the other one) to inquire about the cancellation process. I wanted to know if I had to come in the store, since I financed would I pay the 10% fee directly or would Ashley charge the finance company. Other Ana could not answer any questions, she took my order number, name, sales person name, and phone number down saying that she would have my sales person call me back. I never received a call back. I finally have time to physically go into the store this past Saturday 9/4/21 to cancel my order around 7:30pm. Guess who greets me coming in the door? Other Ana . She walks me to my sales person standing at the counter who informs me she never got relayed the message and apologized for the mix up. I told them I was there to cancel my order. After me having to ask twice why I have to wait until the store closes to receive confirmation of my canceled order, Ana P. had the Sales Manager ( tall, heavy set, white male, with short to medium length black hair) on duty come over to me and he explains the process and that I should receive an email that night. But corporate probably won't process it til Tuesday due to the holiday. Fine with me. Then he inquired with Ana P. if anyone ever looked into why my delivery was delayed 3 days. He looked into it and came back and told me that Ashley branded items which are produced overseas are being temporarily discontinued until corporate can set up operations in the US because the overseas factories cannot handle the demand due to the pandemic. He also said that they won't know the inventory they have until October and that they will deliver items based on which orders came in first. After all of the new items are delivered they will start offering customers floor models (no mention of price reduction for the customers receiving used furniture) until they're completely sold out. Apparently, Ashley corporate relayed this information to their stores last month. However, notification was not sent out to any customers & to find out I would have to wait to close to my delivery date to find out whether I would receive an item I ordered or a used version of it is just plain wrong. I have run several businesses and the fact that Ashley does not care enough about their customers to be transparent is disgusting. Even more disgusting is that I'm still on the hook for a 10% cancellation fee for an item they more than likely cannot fulfill anyway. These ppl will lie to you to get a sale and will not even update you about anything that would impact your order. Buyer beware! They apparently don't train their sales ppl enough to answer questions about store policies & processes and they are not transparent with their customers. It is now Saturday September 11, 2011 and that order cancellation I've been requesting for weeks has still not been canceled. I was told by Ana Perez (or Ana Cecelia) to text her using the contact number she placed on my order forms if I didn't receive my email confirmation for cancellation. I've texted her Wednesday 9/8/21, and she said it would be done at 9pm and it wasn't. I texted her Friday 9/10/21, and she claimed she had an emergency and she would ask her manager to send it to her right away- no email confirmation was received. I texted her this morning to let her know I will be escalating the issue since she's not competent enough to get it done. Once again she gave me the bs about she's working today and will talk to her manager. This time she even promised me a screenshot of the computer screen. Which does not suffice in the place of a formal cancellation email confirmation I was told I would receive. New update on the repair saga: After not hearing anything via email, I called the store again and asked to speak to the manager. I was put on hold for 8 minutes and then told that they could not locate the manager, but they would have him call me. That was four days ago. Still nothing. Two days later, my husband called and explained all that had happened. He was told that they would "flag" our message so that it would be handled right away. I told him that they have said that to me before and nothing happened. Guess what? Our "Urgent" request has STILL had no response. As for the reply to my initial review, they finally wrote me 4 days later and said they did not have access to my review and needed to see it so that they could better understand the situation. We've been promised monetary compensation, we've been promised to have the table replaced, and we've been promised both by Ashley personnel. When we went to Ashley's we were very clear that we needed a couch that disassembled because the entry way to our home was very odd. We explained this in detail... I mentioned I really liked a couch but knew we could not get it in... I was then told that they could deliver it to us in pieces and "assemble it upon arrival" and this was repeated to us by many of the associates there. I was so happy... so happy that I bought the matching chair and a half, the coffee table, the end tables, and the dining table to go with it. I bought bedroom furniture as well but that is a whole other complaint. After receiving the couch much later than promised... it was intact. I explained to the drivers that I was offered "assembly upon arrival" and they informed me that they offer no such service. I quickly realized that my husband and I were taken advantage of... we were told a lie of the services they offer so we would spend a ton of money. We have been told to just "buy a new couch" even though reviews show that it is taking people months to receive their refunds and the fact that all of our furniture was bought to match this couch. I've been fighting so hard to get a solution. The couch is currently sitting in storage. I've begged for them to come and do the service they offered us but they refuse. During our adventures to get a hold of people to help us... we've had an even worse experience. Including people mocking us and blatant racism towards my husband. This woman pictured, Angela, was the first person in could really get a hold of, in hopes of a resolution. I suggested to her that if they cannot offer the services they promised then they can refund me in full for the couch and offer the love seat and another chair and a half as a courtesy... for free. In consideration for the storage unit, for the racism, for the disrespect and hassle they have been... This was their response... they will not do anything. They will use the couch as a credit and I can use toward the love seat and another half chair (which would make it more than the couch itself... how convenient) which is essentially the same as me buying another couch and I don't see how that is a satisfactory solution. I was unable to respond to that to let her know that I was not happy with that solution... she exited the chat and it started all over with the bot again. So, what if I was interested in that crappy offer? How would I have even moved forward if she exited the chat without providing me further details? Who does that? The customer service has been a nightmare from beginning to end. I will continue to leave my reviews everywhere... as well as my husband... until we reach a satisfactory solution. We moved here almost a month ago and were in need of a bed, mattress and a sectional. Pricing here is reasonable (we searched multiple stores around the area) and the 20% discount offered by Anna (our Sales Associate) for paying upfront made our shopping experience much more pleasant. We told Anna what we were looking for and she steered us in the right direction based on our budget and preferences; never pushy or overbearing. She even offered to measure one of the sectionals we were interested in just to make sure it would fit in our new home. We had to schedule two separate deliveries based upon availability, however, items were delivered on both dates as promised and within a week of purchase. I would've given the store a perfect 5 star rating, however, after a week of sitting on my sectional, I did notice a faint odor. I know this happens sometimes with furniture purchases so I sprayed some fabric refresher spray which seemed to alleviate the problem. Anna definitely deserves a 5 star though for putting up with my husband and I as we each have our own opinions on quality, style and budget. If I could give Ashleys a 0 star review I would. I have shopped at Ashleys for 15 years and the services I received From the West Covina location was terrible. I purchased a full living room set, dinning room set and buffet table over a month ago. I made the purchase with cash so no financing and I made sure each item I purchased was in stock prior to making the purchase. There was only one item that was not in stock which oddly enough I got in a week. I closed escrow on my home early and requested my furniture and wanted my items shipped sooner than the date I requested. When I called, I was told several of my items were in back order. I asked how long the wait would be and they told me it would be September 25 so I requested to cancel my order (mind you its over $10k) so they placed me on hold so that they could work some things out. They ended up shipping the dining set, buffet, end tables and sofa that week. I was initially happy because they told me the rest of my items would be there on the 10. The 8th roles around and they call me to tell me the order is on back order and that it wouldn't be in until the 18th. I was trapped now because I could not return the furniture they delivered which was part of a matching set. They intentionally delivered items so that I could not back out. Then today I get a call stating that my order wouldn't be delivered until October 2nd. I just don't understand how my order was in stock and now on back order. They wouldn't admit to selling my items for someone who wanted it sooner. I will never shop at Ashleys again. I made several purchases from Jeromes and received them within the week. DO I HAVE TO GIVE ANY STARS AT ALL? My partner and I chose Ashley Furniture because we saw exactly what we wanted in the weekly circular. So, late June, we decided to visit the Pflugerville store. We chose a dining room set and a sectional. The dining room set was delivered by the date given. Well, we were given a date of early September, the 4th to be exact, for the sectional delivery. I took off work in anticipation of the delivery, only to find that the date had been changed to 2 days later, September 6. On this date, I find out that the date has been changed to September 15. This is totally unacceptable. On the 6th, I make a trip to the store, I spoke with a manager who tells me that the date as now been changed to October 15th. Furious, l leave the store. Well, that delivery date came and went. Trusting, after waiting so long, we are given a sure date in November. At this time he was given 3 different dates in November, that our sectional would come in parts. Why is it being delivered in parts? If this furniture is made to order, the furniture should be delivered when all parts are ready. Who wants to enjoy a portion of their living room furniture. Well, the November date confirmation comes in. We are to expect delivery on November 6 between 3:30 and 6:30p. (only one portion) Now, this message came by telephone, by text, as well as email. Again, I take off work to receive delivery. While I am waiting I get a telephone call from my partner, who called to confirm the time, he's now telling me the delivery has been cancelled. Fabric of a set of three sofas started peeling off as if we had pit bulls in my house. Guy from customer service offered me to get a shaver. I downloaded some pictures so ya can see how terrible this quality is. On top of that, you can't have anything in your laps(bcs it it fall, you'll have to raise the chair up and get all the way down) bcs every time you seat a wide hole opens up on the side. 2 usb chargers don't work. This is the worst purchase experience I honestly have had in my lifetime. Please take your money elsewhere, Ashley is not a reputable store, they don't back their brand up. James was a helpful salesperson who took us directly to what I wanted and gave design tips that helped us feel comfortable with our purchase. However, when we discovered that we were majorly upcharged at the Austin-Southpark Meadows store vs the Ashley online price, we called the sales line at that location and were told by the person that answered the phone "Google works in the store" and he refused to price match, give a discounted refund or even offer an explanation. It was incredibly rude and completely turned us off from ever giving our business to the store again. (Sorry James). We called the customer service line through corporate call center and they were able to offer a 10% inconvenience discount so we are grateful for that (though is does not nearly equate to the $3000 difference in price). I am incredibly disappointed in the Ashley store in Southpark Meadows and very bothered by the rude salesperson that took my call today. I have had an absolutely terrible experience working with Ashley Furniture. I have had several pieces on backorder for over a year at this point, and they have made multiple commitments to shipping or delivering the furniture, only to no-show. I have left dozens of voicemails with sales reps and at the store and have NEVER received a return call--I have been forced to drive 40+ miles to go into the store to get my questions answered on 5 occasions. Clearly they do not take care of their employees either, as three different sales reps I was assigned to have quit over the last year. If none of this sounds appealing to you, stay far away. Also, the sales rep spelled my name wrong even though she had my driver's license right in front of her. I want to start off by saying that I came here during the pandemic, so that might have something to do with my experience. I went last Sunday around 2pm looking for a dresser. My boyfriend and I were looking for a specific one that matched a set we got from Ashley's a year ago. It turns out that it has been discontinued, but found another one online that we liked. We walked around the store for about 15 minutes without anyone greeting us or offering help. We finally managed to find someone willing to talk to us and explained that we were looking for a dresser and saw online on their website that we were interested in. The sales person did not seem eager to help us or even make a sale. He googled the dresser we were interested in and told us to buy it from any of the furniture stores that came up in the search. That was the end of the conversation. We left super disappointed that we did not order a dresser. Jillian helped us and assured us the piece would be delivered January 21st (2 weeks after the purchase date).
