At checkout, we were told the pants would be ready for pickup in 7-10 days. After 10 days, we called to check on them and were told it would actually be another 8 days. When we reminded them that we had specifically been told 7-10 days, they were very resistant and asked what we needed the pants for. They repeatedly insisted that they had told us it would take 18 days, which is not what we were told and is not a timeline we would have agreed to. Unfortunately, the quality of the work was also poor. Less than two weeks after getting the pants back, the hem started fraying badly (see attached photo). For $28, I expected a much better-quality alteration. Overall, the long wait, inconsistent communication about the turnaround time, high price, and poor quality of the finished work made this a very disappointing experience.

I had crystal lining my neckline and back, they were not even straight because Donna and her sister ruined the dress by trying to make it smaller to my size but not realizing the crystals cant be stretched... so i had multiple crystals fall out on me on the day of my wedding...... They either dont care at all and are overworked or they dont know anything about sewing. Horrible people with no heart. Both Dolce Belu and Emilys Sewing Shop tries to take every cent out of you. I had my last fitting today and my dress turned out even better than I could have imagined. I wanted 3/4 sleeves added to the dress and they fit perfectly. It's exactly what I wanted. Donna even added some snaps at the bottom of the sleeves so I can unbutton them for a little more movement when I want to. Unbelievable! The length turned out exactly right with my shoes. Little did I realize they were a gem of the Lynnwood scene for a long time. I needed to get my daughter's prom dress cleaned quickly. Like I wrote above--a two-day turnaround. The staff didn't bat an eye. "Of course we can do it." Those golden words singing from their lips nearly gave me an out-of-body experience. The result? Perfection. The dress looks great. Daughter is pleased. They have my business moving forward.

When I told them an item was missing they told me it was nothing they could do because my receipt listed only 5 items instead of six. Even if the list was itemized incorrectly I should still get all my items back!! They then told me to follow up with my hotel. This to me is not only poor customer service but theft!!
